Oh hello there my fellow miners and crafters good time so let’s go here and welcome back to scar land a land where we take survival building to the extreme and we’re here with the Scout Ranch house building project and in today’s episode we head into the interior that’s

Right we have finished our exterior design and it’s time to head into interior make staircases and establish that interior design so let’s get this episode underway alright and welcome back to Scotland’s house building project here in Scott or ranch and in our last episode we completed our

Exterior details and I was so happy to see that you guys enjoyed that episode and learning how to really take a bland and boring exterior wall and to make it into something super awesome as you can see look at the amount of detail and texture that we have on these windows

And of course on these little blank pieces of walls that were once just an entire you know wall of blank blocks are now all sorts of beautiful colors and textures and I think came out pretty cool and I was so happy to see that you guys enjoyed it but in today’s episode

My friends we work on the interior that’s right we finally are completed our exterior designs we’re in the interior and here’s excited as I am for the interior definitely hit that like button and let’s get started so as you can see this is our doorway all set up

And ready to go I have some dirt blocks here and they’re just marking out where we’re going to work so first thing we’re going to do is find our doorway and we’re just going to bring three blocks of our milk chocolate slabs across here like this we’re going to bring these out

Give or take about nine blocks not scientific just getting the establishing detail set up and ready to go and then on either side here we’re going to place those blocks like that and that kind of establishes our banister for a staircase because I always find that when I’m

Trying to come up with an ideas or layout of an interior design starting out with a really basic kind of layout of the Flair or entryway into the house along with the staircase kind of establishes the design direction for the entire house so that’s kind of where

We’re going to be working today and I have a question for you I have a question my friends the question is my friends what would you guys like to see as our first room within the house to be built we can work on a kitchen a living room a bedroom an

Office all sorts of cool little things but I’m gonna put a pole at the top of the screen I want you guys to select which one you guys want to see the most and then let me know in the comments which ones next because I can do kitchen living room and all

Sorts of cool little things so that’s what I would like to hear from you guys alright so as you can see the doorway opens up here and we have a block and then two blocks on either side now what kind of work this up and kinda see where

It takes us so I’m pretty excited about this because I think we can do some pretty good work today and getting all of the design established and ready to go so two stairs upwards and then two half slabs and yeah I think that’ll look pretty cool so let’s jump down here

We’re going to build with a little bit of a sneaky block like so and then we’re going to connect these guys like that so connect them you know in words like that and then we’re going to bring this up six blocks okay we’re going to bring this up about six blocks upwards like

This so I’m just going to build this up so we have something to attach all of our blocks to so this is one two three four five oh hello five there’s five and then let’s put six up here and get that all established beautiful so then let’s who

Work way down and work these columns all the way upwards and the interior for the second storey is so difficult my friends to plan out see how we’ve these very sloped roofs these big windows and then this little section in there is a little smaller it’s a challenge believe me it’s

A bit of a challenge but I’m up for the challenge my friends I’m up for the challenge when we stop for the challenge here for an interior design it’s like a puzzle it’s really fun to kind of put together and try to figure out where you

Kind of want to go with it so as you can see two blocks here and then a block like that so we’re kind of covering up the unsightly areas of the roof line or the exterior walls so I think that’s pretty cool so let me finish this side

Over here alright and we’ll come back and as you see I repeated our staircase on the Sun so got that all set up and ready to go so the first thing we’re going to do over here is just kind of get the banisters arranged so we’re gonna put something like that down like

That it’s a little bit high as you could see and hmmm I guess it’s okay it’s just a little bit high but that’s okay I think that’s probably fine so then right up here we’re going to place carpet on top like that looking good my friends

Looking good so then I’m going to place these blocks like this so I’m going to bring these ones like that I’m going to cut out this one under like that so I think this is a really kind of cool banister design we’re going to leave this block blank because there’s

Actually going to be a log going straight up like that but as you can see it’s the kind of the key to try to create something that looks like a band or something that you would hold on to as you go up the stairs and I think the

Use of these blocks like this make that design and we’ll kind of see where it goes from here we’re going to place these ones along here like this there we go looking good and then of course carpets on the top like so if those on there like that beautiful so

We got that like that let’s take a look at how that looks very very cool all right so next thing we’re gonna do we’re going to swap that out and grab ourselves some stairs there we go and look at this look at the use of the stairs under here like that nice nice

Look at that all the details are starting to emerge versus always very exciting so the next thing we’re going to do here is I can grab myself a block here not a block I want look come on where’s my blocks apparently I don’t have any blocks and I’m gonna grab some

Blocks there we go alright so now down here I’m just going to run this all the way down to the ground see I’m bringing these under here like that I just want to kind of get a basic start to how this under section is going to look so we

Like to always call this the Harry Potter closet down here so I think that’ll look pretty cool let me grab some slabs um-hmm this part right here could use some sprucing up so put something like that down yeah this area can definitely use some more detail but for now I think that’s

Decent okay so next thing I’m gonna do is grab ourselves some duck oh all right dark oak let’s see where we can go with this so we’re gonna place down a block like that alright and then what exactly sure how I want to bring this so this is going to

Be one two three four five six seven eight nine okay so that’s nine flush with that block so we’re gonna bring that up one more block and then for good measure we’ll just give it a little hat there we go alright so hmm okay all right I see where we’re going with this

Let me repeat this pattern over here and we’ll come back so I’ve made one modification and let’s work on this so as you can see this was her original column that went all the way up now I brought that column down two blocks cut inward and add an additional one right

There so let me show you how that we did that so this block right here so see this little section right here we’re just going to bring an additional column up right on this side right here we’re going to kind of replace the other one this will allow us to have a couple

Better little design details I’m like I was just looking I was like you know what let’s do this let’s do this I hate changing things like this but in the end my friends where it’s all in the pursuit of super awesomeness and that’s the way we roll all right so I’m

Gonna place that up there as a temporary block for now and place that right there because this is dark as can be over here so next we’re gonna do see how we bring that two blocks downward like that and we’re going to bring this all the way

Across like that I’m going to sneak over here and just get myself a little bit of a scaffolding block built up wonderful there we go now this is where I feel like the design really comes together so what we’re gonna do is we’re going to bring these blocks right here like that

As you can see now I’m gonna bring this like that there we go looking good okay so next thing we’re gonna do we can take these guys like that and then this one goes over here and goes like that and you can kind of mix this up however you

Want so something like that you could also do a post over here then a gate and you know you could just figure out wherever you want but that I think is a really cool design so now let’s work our way down the expressroute there we go

And then down here what we’re going to do is we’re going to sneak down here and we’re going to add another pole going across here and watch this my friends watch how this all kind of flows together then we’ll sneak over here grab our spruce fence and these are just the

Little details that really make a build come together and you can just start to layer these details together here and there now you can choose say you want these maybe even what if we even choose to mix it up a little bit what if we choose to put these along on this roll

Look at that look at how that kind of looks maybe even take this one out maybe you can even have them both who knows whatever you going to see for your own build you can use whatever you want for that those little details don’t really matter too much in the end it’s just

Kind of personal preference and I like that quite a bit my friends these little sections down here could use a little extra help also so this is a great place for us just like a quick Bush to kind of go along there something to help kind of

Make that look a little nicer if I can grab myself a stair there we go when we grab myself a little stair cut that in there like that it just adds like a little planter box there and I think that looks really nice so we can go like

This cut that piece down there and you can also remove these blocks down here maybe even put some lighting under there might look really great also but yeah and then just cut these ones out also maybe even dig down an additional block too but look at how that’s starting to

Come together very very exciting so next thing you can do to start to like make everything just flow is start to maybe even add a bit of a car running down the center of the you know the area you can choose to make this brown green who knows but yeah I’m

Really happy with the way that’s all coming together look at that very very cool alright my friends next thing we’re going to do we’re going to grab out some extra details here grab out some dark oak wood logs and we’re going to start to run this along this line right here

So along this little section right here I’m not exactly sure how I want to bring this um is going to bring it all the way to the ceiling so we can always change that as we kind of move along a little bit but I think that’ll look really cool

Once we kind of get a little farther in there there we go now this part could definitely use some work look at how incredibly boring this is let’s see if we can make some of the magic we have we achieved in our last episode I kind of

Just cutting this out and like I always say see where it takes us who knows yeah so I think there could be a lot of potential this is my barrier for many creepers out there trying to keep any creepers from visiting you know you just don’t want any creeper visits you know

You know as much as I want to be friends with the creepers it’s just you know sometimes it does just a losing friendship there we cope with that across here and this is kind of a design that I don’t know where we’re gonna go with it but like I always say my friends

Let’s see where it takes us alright so next thing I’m going to do is I think off of this block right here this is going to be a temporary block and I’m going to run this all the way across like this and it’s going to connect with

That oh look at that that’s going to connect perfect look at that there we go my friends that looks wonderful and then we’ll run this across here now my thoughts are for the house if you’re kind of wondering where we’re going to kind of go with things on the far wall

Over there’s going to be a kitchen that window might change in the end and then the windows down here is going to be a dining room this is going to be a really cool kind of sitting room and this is a living room and these rooms over here I

Don’t know yet so maybe you guys could even provide me some ideas provide me some ideas I would absolutely love that to give me some ideas because I’m still kind of in the you know the design phase if you will for this particular area so on these little corners over here just

Going to add an additional block right there and then right about here I think I’m just going to sneak up here and add that like that looking good my friends looking good and let me complete this side over here and we’ll come back and I have actually started to terraform the

Mountain so eventually there’ll be some beautiful snow-capped mountains up there but it is going to be a lot of work and it’ll just have to come in time but let’s head back into the project today and as you can see we are making some tremendous progress so let’s take a

Look at how our staircases are going as you can see I did decide to add those posts going down there so there’s two rows of those and I think that looks pretty cool the next thing was I’ve been trying to decide in this entire episode if I liked Gates or fences better and

Let me know in the comments do you guys like a the fence design or B the fence post design which is over there I’m still trying to decide on which one I like better but let’s jump over here in this wall right here I’ve thrown it

Actually down one block so now if you stand at this platform right here it should be three blocks going upwards and a half one so three and a half so half and then three blocks going upwards like so and then connect like this and then bring this all the way like that connect

That piece together like that and then bring this all the way down to here let me jump up there we go and then this should you know get right up to here and then you’ll be able to connect those and these should be symmetrical and then put

That on top and I’m still actually also deciding if I like spruce or dark oak on top of the pillars that’s why I’ve done both of them sometimes people mistake scar mistakes for little things like that but a lot of times it’s actually just trial and error trying to see which

One I like better sometimes I’ll throw in you know if I if I don’t want spruce here I might throw an oak and just see what it looks like for a little while so not everything discard mistake believe me there’s a lot that is a scar mistake but not everything there we go

Put that right there beautiful is that symmetrical yes it is my friends and just the way we like it hah all right we’re gonna put these guys like that and then one in the center and loop those together also going to put carpet on top of these little banister

Rails up here we’ll get to that eventually we’ll get to there so up here what we’re going to do real quick here is I’m just going to kind of fill this in just a little bit just to kind of give you guys an idea how this will all

Look together so let’s just add a little bit of our spruce along here and get that across there like so awesome alright so as you can see doesn’t that look pretty cool how we have this design where the post ends and then there’s still a little bit of a stair going

Upwards I like that quite a bit actually it’s a little bit different but let’s start working back here I was just ever so slightly so what we’re going to do is we’re going to bring out this this out just a couple more blocks like this alright so we brought it out extra

To and then we’re going to bring it all the way back to here like that alright so next thing we’re going to do is we’re going to go two blocks wide then we’re going to go like that looking good and then we’re going to go this block right

Here one and then two three four five and then bring this all the way across like that so we created that cool little shape like that and then we can bring these pieces upwards like this so we can cut this one like that and then let’s do

The same over here so this is one two three four five beautiful and then cut that one in there like that and then if I could reach now I can’t reach just a little too short here we go bring that all the way across like that and then as you can see we’re

Starting to get this area arranged and ready to go and I’m excited about the future of this rooms and all that good stuff around here it’s always fun to come back and kind of look at this video from the future and see kind of how everything changed and how everything

Flows together now at least I do that sometimes just kind of see how it all end up you know do you guys ever do that in the video you ever kind of go back and see how it all turned out or how it all started I do that once in a while

Just to kind of see how it is it’s kind of cool to see like a big blank slate and then what we’ve done to it over the time I like doing that once in a while there we go I just like before and after photography I guess that’s maybe why I

Like doing that all right there we go swoop over here like that beautiful and then we connect back over there look oh hello there we go look at that oh I love it absolutely love it so let’s clear all that out of there and then I’m gonna

Leave these post blank for now see these ones right here because this is going to be our living room and I don’t want to interfere with the living room design too much so I’m just gonna leave it how it is and I’m gonna connect these guys together like that to bring this piece

Like that beautiful wonderful awesome and bring those over there so yeah a lot a lot of work a lot of connections a lot of building this that and the other thing but in the end I think this will all look absolutely wonderful look at that oh I’m absolutely loving that I’ll

Finish that side a little bit off-camera but yeah I think that looks good see how that all kind of flows together I think this is all be very very beautiful in the end there we go awesome alright let’s go work over here for a little bit

Let’s go work over here for a little bit so first thing I want to do first thing I do is come and do some unlike this there we go next I want to do is I want to cut out these boards going across here like that next thing I

Want to do want to connect these with a nice line going like that all right and then I’m going to put something right here and there okay look at that starting to come together now let’s get ourselves some scaffolding so now let’s start going a little bit airborne here

And see where we can kind of take this so this block is kind of interfering with what I want to do a little bit so I’m going to set up a little more scaffolding I’m going to cut this row going outwards like that and then I’m going to sneak back here

Mmm-hmm I’m kind of getting it some interference back here but I think that’s okay we can kind of work with it a little bit so what I want to do is I want to add these blocks like that connecting to here I’m going to remove this block like that and remove that I’m

Going to put up another block going like that very cool so next thing I want to do is I want to get some stairs I’m going to start running these stairs outward like this there we go and that just helps keep everything clean and just starts making the ceiling look a

Little bit better if I can actually stay on my scaffolding which would be a treat there we go and start running this column going across there like that very cool and see that little mistake there we can always fix that a little bit later um okay all right it’s a little

Difficult a little difficult but I feel like we can do it we can do it so this piece right here let’s remove this once again and then we’re going to connect this piece back here look at that just a little bit of dimension a little more to

You know scale right there I think looks really cool so let’s jump back down and kind of get a nice perspective of that that’s good that’s good I think once we kind of bring that all the way across everything will start to flow together

So next thing I want to do I want to go across your like that and then bring that like that looking good connect another piece like that beautiful and then go boom in a biome like that and I think that’s good I think that’s starting to kind of come out the way we

Want it next thing I want to do is I want to cut out these blocks right in here there we go cut those guys out and then bring down a nice log going in the back like that there we go there we go okay so we got to figure out this window

Business right here because this window is kind of not looking so good kind of not looking good I think this window is going to have to result in some trial and error over the entire project because the per the life of this window it has been real bothering me because it just doesn’t

Flow well like it just doesn’t have like a really great flow to it so that’s kind of my challenge since we actually put it up I’m gonna put this guy along here like that connect that together so what I’m thinking is what I’m thinking is and I don’t have any

Glass on me but I think we’ll just do two blocks going upwards and then I think we can maybe do something like that connect that like that and then I think do something like that just do a one block wide window and I think that’ll be pretty good like I think

That’ll be perfectly fine and wonderful so there we go my friends let me do some of this extra work that we’ve already completed on this side over here and I’ll be right back all right and welcome back and let’s take a look at our now completed entryway and interior design

So let’s head through our door here and now I did see a creeper so I’m gonna put a block right there ah there we go and there it is my friends we have our beautiful staircase all ready to go and arranged I’m still trying to figure out

If they’re going to go the gate or a post but look at this detail so let’s head up the stairs here look at our back wall those torches are temporary and as you can see look at the beautiful detail all arranged and ready to go we can look

Down over the detail oh I’m absolutely loving it took a lot of work to get here a lot of blocks a lot of placements but I feel like it was well well worth it and as you can see we have this beautiful little hallways that will lead
