HayJoHay – Building the Desert Base! – Minecraft Survival – Ep. 10

Hello everyone this is hoo hate and welcome to episode 10 of my Survival series it has been a month since I uploaded the last one so it’s been a while welcome back to my mess of a base I really need to figure out what I’m doing with this place not to mention

This giant hole that I accidentally dug out in the last episode I have been very much inspired and that is why I’m actually recording right now you see this little Bay is the entire reason I want to build a village because I have always and I mean always

Wanted to build a little Harbor with little boats and little crates and little docks all over the place and I am through the roof so excited to get started yes I do realize that last sentence didn’t make very much sense but who cares let’s get started there’s just

One iny weeny problem I still haven’t built the bamboo farm so that is the first first project of today bamboo Farm after looking at the materials list for the bamboo Farm I realized I needed to go mining ASAP oh my gosh I also totally forgot to tell you guys I installed a resource

Pack called Fresh animations it’s a pretty popular one so I won’t be surprised if you know what it is but if I could just find a mob this creeper is a great example I mean look how natural the movements look I think I’m really going to like this resource pack and

From what I’ve heard the Villager are hilarious well obviously mining is nothing new so let’s get into a mining Montage okay hey then I believe I have finally gotten all of the ores and whatnot that’s the wrong shulker box one moment all of the stuff I need and much much more I even managed to get a non deep slate Diamond door which are apparently super rare and also deep

Slate coal ore which is pretty much the opposite of diamond but also equally rare this is definitely my favorite part making giant towers of the or blocks and then cutting them down make your guesses everyone how much iron gold and C do you think I’m going to get from all this

Some Tower chopping later having cut down all the towers and started smelting I have tons of resources of all the kinds but you may notice that I have an extreme amount of redstone and for those of you who watch very very closely you’ll remember that I only got 25

Pieces of redstone ore yes I did go mining again I’m not going to make you go and sit through an entire another Montage we already did the Montage thing however I came across something extremely rare in my travels and I also have the the footage to prove it so here you

And over a stack of bone blocks oh this Joy time to craft everything I think I have finally gathered up all the materials needed for this bamboo farm and as you can see my calculations were slightly wrong I needed a third Sher box but this is what our materials list is

Looking like I know I didn’t use a lot of I don’t know what my brain was doing there but this shulker box is full of Minecart Hoppers which was extremely excruciating to craft the only thing I don’t have at the moment is of course the bamboo and I actually discovered a

Jungle not tooo far from here so that should not be too hard however we are just going to add that in at the very end now where to build it I believe this is a spot it is just behind the area where I want our village to be so that

Hopefully it’ll still run even when I’m not working you know in this back area sadly shaders and zoom had to go because I have replay mod on now because I still can’t get replay mod and OptiFine to work together but what whatever you guys know what I’m going to say let’s get

Into a time Lapse The bamboo Farm is finally complete after maybe about an hour and a half which actually wasn’t that bad and I am already going to say this thing does not disappoint although the storage room could use a little more decoration look how much bamboo okay that’s actually not

Look how much bamboo this Farm has already created we are set for life and I’m sure you guys saw it multiple times in the time lapse however I’m just going to click this button and set off the farm once more this thing is so fun to watch probably because I never work

Around flying machines this is literally one of the first flying machines I’ve ever created and it makes me so very happy it’s self returning to oh the Hightech I’m totally just kidding for you Redstone Geniuses out there this is probably a piece of cake well now that

We have infinite bamboo this means I can start working on the village the the village that I totally know exactly what I’m doing no I don’t I have planned zero buildings I’ve planned out the block pallet but no buildings and this thing is pretty ugly so maybe

We’ll have to do something to cover it up however that is for another episode you know I was going to say Let’s do an AFK session to see how well this Farm does but to be frankly honest I don’t think we need to I could take all the

Bamboo out of this chest right here and make as many bamboo blocks as my heart desires how do you do that there we go oh my gosh it’s only one one bamboo block makes two bamboo planks well I guess that’s actually how it’s always been but still this is so good I mean

How can you not just love this block it is so beautiful and I for one cannot wait to start building with it as I said I cannot wait to start building with this however I don’t know what I’m going to build so I guess it’s time for me to

Go over to a creative world and figure out what the heck I’m going to do see you guys later some creative testing later I have returned from my creative testing and I think I’m ready to go however I have a few things to talk about first first of all when you play

Plan one more thing I uploaded a video recently and you guys loved it it was just a build tips and tricks video but I don’t know what I did different maybe it was the thumbnail maybe I’m just getting better at editing a video for goodness sake who knows but you guys went crazy

Also is kind of big is so I have come to a conclusion I am going to go and do a stream however what you’re about to see now is going to be the time lapse footage of the progress I complete without further Ado let’s get straight into It I am back and here is the blacksmith it is not completely finished yet but I was getting a little carried away in the building process so I thought I ought to do a check-in with you guys right off the bat this is a very unique build the

First thing you notice is obviously that it is just wide open to the world anything can come in and out but I’m not really worried about that second it has a very unique roof and I for one love building roofs so this was really fun cuz I’ve never done this kind before as

You can see I Incorporated some of my mini blocks into here because they’re just so cute I love them so as I said this build is not finished yet and that is because I want to add like a little stall right here kind of selling what the blacksmiths have crafted okay

Anyways enough of the blacksmith there’s something else I want to show you remember 5 minutes ago when I caught these pillagers well yes I took the time to go ahead and tame them in quotation marks because I mean I think it’s really fun to have and I named them after two

Think it’s going to go really well this Tower really is really annoying so we have this massive dock that we’re going to build we’re going to add some boats and probably Destroy This Island right here I also planned out the paths now these are really flexible I could change

Them whenever I want it’s just a rough layout so that I can know where to build the buildings we’ve done quite a bit this episode actually I mean maybe not for you guys but this episode has Tak taken me weeks to make which is a lot we’ve

Done this building which took me hours surprisingly because it’s burned down multiple times believe it or not because the lava in here has caused a few problems so I’ve had to replace the walls I think three times I don’t know how it keeps burning down because there’s Stone everywhere I don’t know

The reach of fire I just removed those barrels so hopefully that won’t happen anymore but there is a very high chance this place could burn down again this episode has been all work let’s go do something more fun and since I have not yet explored all of the 1.20 things

That were added such as the trail ruins I figure no better time to do that than now we’re going to go in search of a trail ruins which I think is going to be kind of difficult but nevertheless we’ll give it a shot sometime later all right everyone I

Have found one and I’ve set up a little Camp I have my brush in my inventory and it’s time to anyways before that creeper rudely interrupted what I was saying this is a trail ruins right here and I am so excited to start Excavating it this took

A while so here are some highlights of the more exciting things I found I think I have finished Excavating that trail ruins and boy is it big like I said before I had never experienced one of these I’ll show you what it looks like down there in just a second but

Before that I’m going to show you all the stuff I got look at all of these resources that is absolutely insane all the bricks all the mud all the gravel that’s really good because our paths are going to be made out of coarse dirt so that is extremely helpful and then this

Little chest over here is the more exciting parts of the excavation as you can see we have the razor armor trim we’ve got three of those the host armor trim just one and two shaper armor trims we’ve got a ton of pottery shirs which is going to be really fun for making

Pots later overall this was really fun I now feel kind of stupid because obviously I would love to bring all of this back home but um I didn’t bring an ender chest or more shulker boxes so unfortunately we won’t be able to unless I had obsidian ender pearls and

Blaze rods there we go in my handy Shuler box and if you don’t know that will allow me to craft an Ender Chest which will allow me to access my shulker shells two shulker boxes have been crafted now we just got to fill them up I’ve got everything packed up but before

We go we are going to take a dive down into this Trail ruins there is probably a few more suspicious gravels hidden in here somewhere but my brush broke so that’s why I decided to stop and at first glance this place is huge we’ve got a big chamber in here

With two rooms branching off the sides obviously this is the main chamber where all of the other rooms Branch off of but back when I used to watch videos about the trail ruins I learned that there’s usually a big hallway and I think this is that hallway it has

Multiple rooms branching off and this is a great way to get perspective of just how big this place is and surprisingly it didn’t take that long thanks to my super fast pickaxe and shovel and with that everyone let’s head home we’ve officially returned to our base and I

Just can’t stop looking at this blacksmith you know I I thought only the smithing template for the netherite needed diamonds to multiply it that is very expensive since I have three of the razor armor Trims and I really only wear three pieces of netherite armor I think

I’m going to use those this armor trim stuff came out of nowhere but I really wanted to do it let’s take my pants and see what this looks like that is amazing that is a definite yes look at that wow it matches my outfit that’s funny we’re definitely

Doing that on the helmet and Boots as well because that looks fantastic and it matches my outfit it like doesn’t even matter that I don’t have a chest plate cuz my sleeves match the trim now I can’t stop looking at the blacksmith and my armor I also went ahead and made a pot

With the pottery shirts that I had and I think they look so cool however I don’t think they really fit with the blacksmith Vibe so we’ll save them for later and ladies and gentlemen I think that is going to bring this episode to a close I know it’s a little shorter than

Episode is probably going to be more building because I absolutely loved building this blacksmith I love the block palette I love everything about it and I can’t wait for this place to start coming together we’ll probably remove that island in the next episode hopefully do something with that giant
