Hermitcraft 9 050 | NEW DECKED OUT ADDITION 👀

I am out of inspiration yep you heard that correctly but I should clarify a little bit it is with my base in particular and honestly there’s not really any surprise along with that because I mean this is probably the most complete my actual base has been at this point in a season

I’ve done so much work and even more recently a lot more on the side not actually even within videos like this recent tree farm for example but know me I’ll be back soon and I’ll find you another thing to work on when the inspiration finds me or I find it

However that thing works I’ve just got to give myself some time and luckily I knew of a potential project for someone else that I could work on to get me out of this funk good old tangotech well technios online so I guess let’s see if he needs some help with decked out all

Wanted a uh a few Bibles to help him out or some projects over a dipped out and well uh it’s taken till now for me to even ask so uh we’re heading over there now so I meet up with him and see if he’s got any projects in mind I have a

Feeling he does and luckily I actually know where decked out is it’s actually very very easy to get to from my base and like that we’re here um I only have so many Rockets so I’m gonna stay in the air for so long so let’s hope 10 goes around so he’s there

But there’s like two Creepers there’s creepers literally just right by shoulder boxes Tango what are you doing you’re a Madman right let’s go in and say hi oh good somebody slept I was terrified uh yeah I was flying around and saw two Creepers hanging out out there yeah I got a

Little collection out there I’m good a little scared a little scared but yeah yeah if there’s something yeah I mean I actually haven’t been in here before I think last time I came here you hadn’t got much of an interior so yeah yeah we’re almost done here I have a project

In mind though this is one that’s been kind of sitting around forever okay but it’s a good one follow me I think you’ll like it this this not very fitting of of the castle behind it no I thought it was such a pleasure I don’t know I spent

Like a not too giant but like a big portal with like a base on it or something that fits the style of the castle it looks like it belongs here yeah I mean it could do with being a bit a little bit bigger I think a little bit

A little bit Yeah at the least there’s a scale mismatch here for sure yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I mean free reign whatever you want like just kind of make it you know stick with the style maybe some spikes or something like that and other than that whatever

You want spike sound good I can I can do spikes it is very spiky up there yes yes yeah you need to put like some warning signs up you know make sure people carefully you don’t get spiked yeah yeah it is dangerous flying through there it

Is okay well this is great and I mean no rush obviously you know because I’ve still got six years before this game launches apparently so okay okay well I’ll get on with that and I’ll let you know when I’m done I guess excellent okay false thank you I’ll get to work

And there we have it a project a very very spiky one in fact and uh I have just the plan looking around Decked Out previously when we were collecting snow and doing some building bits with Joe I uh did have a few ideas actually for a

Portal and um a little bit of ice maybe too I mean there’s a lot of ice going on around the place and snow which means I’m gonna have to collect a bunch of that so that’s what I’m gonna go do right now wish me luck yep I’m building

The Decked Out portal no pressure then well in fact I’d say it helped me immensely now having to come up with the project itself just work on the actual build element of it it’s exactly what I’m in need of right now so this is a massive help you see for me full bound

Out doesn’t happen I usually find myself in one of two states either having the ability to come up with a fun build but no actual project to do that on like my current situation or having a super fun project idea but not actually being able

To come up with a fun build for that specific project so I guess if you have any suggestions or other helmets you know that are in need of some help that might be a good shout for the next couple of weeks or at least till I find

Myself with a cool project to inspire me for my base but enough of that inspiration nonsense we’ve laid out a much nicer looking terrain that’ll be much smoother to work on and with added temporary lighting just so that we’re not working within basically a mob spawner because that’s what this is at

This point so let’s get to the actual building so speaking so heavily about inspiration this episode already I thought this would be the perfect time to talk over my process when designing this portal as the inspiration for said portal is literally right there in front of me firstly spikes Fango did it of

Course request these but since they were already such a huge part of the Decked Out Castle they just had to be included so I decided to do that in a big way using the main massive spikes at the very very top of the build making them

Sort of the focal point I could very much have not included the next part but it needed a little bit more structure than just the spikes then floating just isn’t really going to work for the build so far from the castle so I added a tower yep you’ve guessed it literally

One of the other main features of Tango’s Decked Out build is the towers so it just had to be done so I picked some of my favorite elements from them and kept it pretty subtle but decided to add a little bit of a Twist that being that there are gaps very very slightly

On the side not that you can see them super clearly here but it shows a little bit about what’s inside now this didn’t come out quite exactly how I had imagined it I thought maybe it’d be more impactful than it was but we’ll take a closer look at this afterwards but I

Basically put a large purple Crystal floating within almost like a power source of sorts it could totally be part of a Tango’s law if he wishes or it could just be a crystal to power said portal either way I quite like it as like a little extra addition nothing

Crazy but just a little something something and finally the third piece was the ice something not such a huge part of the build as a whole but definitely within the theme of the whole thing and I wanted to mix it in somehow just so that the whole build still has space to

Breathe you see the castle is incredible there’s no denying it in fact there might even be Tango’s best build yet but with this bridge to the portal I was a little bit worried that it would cover up or break up the amazing view that you have at the castle walking to it from

The bottle so if I was to use smaller Towers or lots of detail on the bridge it would have just sort of detracted from that and been the main focal point instead of it being the castle so I kept it pretty simple and well something you

Learned with r is that the empty free space is just as important if not sometimes more than the space that’s being filled so to keep the castle as the main focal point I think that this is pretty perfect and also if Tango finds this still too distracting from

The main build then it’s very easy for him to just chop down the height of them or remove them completely but I do feel like the front of his base having those ice spikes already it just adds to that chilly feel the sense shivers down your

Spine as you enter decked out not that you need this terrifying already just knowing that that is a warden within those walls that that’s enough for me but do let me know what you think of the build below I’d love to hear your thoughts and also if you have any

Different processes that you use when you start building builds inspiration and such I’d love to hear it speaking of inspiration though one place I find that is my patrons leather yes symmetria it’s my very own Minecraft server with an amazing Community as it stands right now

Anyway back to what we were up to so of course we have the basics in we have I say Basics the more difficult part we have the spikes we have the ice and we have the bridge and we have the tower as well below there which uh does need a

Little bit of uh something going on I need to actually go get some sculpt blocks and I’ve just figured out that I believe Zuma sells them in his shop so I’m gonna go buy some of those I need about six snacks or so or at least that’s my estimate because I think this

Uh kind of needs to look a bit more warden-ish hence why it’s a bit of a mess right now but we of course also need the portal which yes is uh a fair distance away from the original and I’m a little bit concerned that it’s not

Gonna line up in the nether so I guess the best thing to do is get myself some obsidian which I’m sure I have somewhere there we go Stacks probably more than enough build myself a pretty tall looking um portal which I think we’re gonna just Chuck right in this Gap here

And um and then light it and then just hope that it works fingers crossed he doesn’t look like he believes in me I’m not sure I do either well I’ve broken that portal uh let’s see if liking this one we’ll link up with the never I think

It should work this way I’m more worried about it working the other way so let’s just leave from the middle it attaches to this which is very nice and then let’s go back in again and that works okay I think I’m just gonna try either side just to double check and if it

Works then I’m pretty happy and it works beautiful I’m very very happy with that and I’m actually going to leave that portal down there as a little bit of Deco gonna make it look a little bit overgrown and then also I will get rid of all my torches around here by the way

I just didn’t want to build in a multiple now like I say now there’s one more thing I need to do and that is just uh integrate the portal a little bit more with these spikes I’m going to bring up the black stone a little bit

Either side just to make it look like the portals actually uh supported a bit because currently it looks a little bit like it’s just the biggest portal in the world it’s actually not the largest you can make I just kind of made whatever just felt like the right size for that

Right well this is new so he has a thing full of skulk blocks and I just read this wall here and it says it’s one diamond block for the full box so you know what I guess I’m just gonna have to buy the full box and then um I I guess uh um

Oh my goodness it actually even breaks it oh that’s incredible I didn’t know that was a thing and I got a free shot box too but yeah I now need only six of these so uh what am I doing with the rest that’s what I want to know anyway thanks
