Hermitcraft 9 : Episode 23 – FRIENDLY COMPETITION

All right so I am going to do my best to hopefully win this competition the game that I’m making today is very random I’ve put a randomizer in the same one that’s in the boat game because we all know I’m not that great a redstone so there’s two parts of the game there’s

The random aspect the bit that you can’t control and there’s the skill based aspect which is one that maybe you can control depending on what skill level you have now I don’t know what the winning condition is for our competition but I’m hoping that this game is gonna win it for me

Is already you might are gonna stay like that and then you’re going up here perfect so with my game as you can see the outside bits are done there’s still a little bit of work to do though I need to add the actual game that’s not done yet and that includes some ice

A fair amount of ice some stuff to randomize and last but not least some ammo oh yes the daily fight over the bed who shall sleep first me ah yeah and on that note I believe the game is now ready to try out did you just take

The western hermitcraft server is actually improving the Hermits okay I agree in a way yes in a way yeah and potentially making us diamonds along the way oh God so I know I’m really happy with our game it’s working really well of course there are a few things that I

Want to maybe tweak maybe the speed of the arrows I don’t know and I have dug this out a little bit further but the floor still needs to be done as well and of course we have to sort out the point system for that sign could go discuss

With this school but I’m really happy with the two new additions our little Western Town’s really coming together oh I love this theme so much it’s so cute can’t wait until it goes all the way down there this is 4 out of 20 mind you

We’ve still got 16 to go so gold knows how far it’s gonna go down there we’ll find out I suppose but now that we’ve done over our gaming area I think I’ve now figured out what I want to do with my floor over at my Halloween build

That’s now going to be finished for this Halloween all right I may have got a tad little over excited and already started the inside side of the build I sat down with my daughter she helped me brainstorm and I think we’ve come up with something amazing I’d be warned

That’s a lot different to what I did at the beginning of the episode okay but I think you’re gonna like it I definitely like it alright so here we go you all ready oh the floor is different and look at this I absolutely love this I’m not gonna lie

So I decided to change up the floor of course it was the uh the Terry wood before and like I said I didn’t really you know I wasn’t loving it all right I admit it I wasn’t loving it it had to change but I’m still gonna keep it I’ve

Broken it up though with this and this and I think this kind of brings it together and then on this side I’ve decided that the cherry and the dark oat goes the best so basically I need to now build all of this everywhere and kind of

Decide if I want to keep the Cherry in everything which I I haven’t made a decision yet so uh I suppose I’m just gonna have to YOLO it and make it up as I go along but I think maybe I may want to restructure the walls a tad I’m just

Happy that so far we do have have a working thing this area I like and this wall is going to go the same on this side so it’s like symmetrical and I think I’m gonna do like this you know One log facing One Way One log face in

The other instead of all going in the same direction I think this is cute and I’ve also done it in here as well and I think that definitely helps that I break it up a bit more so let’s maybe start with this Corridor that I’m standing in

Now get this wool up behind me and see how that looks shall we I think that’s the best bit um I think I did it again trying not to break into the song there I’ve done a little more than I was actually anticipated doing progress so as you can see I have now

Got this whole Corridor done I’m really really happy with it I had to move the stairs a little bit because um there was like a two high Gap when you walked up the stairs and that looked awful but I’ve made this little bit that contains the stairs and that they are

There to be precise is where the seating’s gonna go and this is the ceiling that I’ve actually decided to do it’s very um deep safety very expensive but I think I like it in this room I decided to go with the oak floor and I did actually try out dark prismarine I’ve

Decided I don’t like the dark prismarine it does actually look kind of cool when I step back and I look at it actually but I think I’m gonna go with these These are more neutral aren’t they but I’m really happy with this so far I do still need to change up the floor

Because I want to do the crisscrossy pattern same in this bit but the stairs are all now done the ceiling’s getting now and I’m really happy with the progress I love it it’s very old-fashionedy and very haunted Housey and of course that’s what I was going

For oh actually soon it’ll be time to put my Halloween gear on money I do love that dress up so I think what I’m going to do now is get all of the ceiling in remove this one and then see if I still like this because I was a bit like ah

But like I said I’m apparently very indecisive today do you know what I’m actually quite happy with the progress that I’ve made today the ceiling is now all in on this side of the house and I think it looks really cute I was a bit skeptical but I think it actually works

Maybe I’ll sit and think about maybe having a trim around the top but that’s something to consider but look at this I love it it just reminds me of like an old manor house or something especially with these as they look paneled it’s so cute I’m very very very happy with this

But I think last thing that I should actually do now is um figure out which one of these I need to change yeah like this I need to turn all these around don’t I perfect I think this looks ten times better than what this looks I’m

Very happy with it and I’ve made the decision that this room is going to be our storage room which means in the next episode I need to kind of find out where I want to put all the chests because um at the minute it looks like we only

Have that side which you know kind of sucks so I have to think about something else but I’m sure I can find a way to make it work and to be fair I have this much stuff in here that I need to put into chests and then if we actually go

Over to the factory there isn’t actually that many chests that I have I have 25 chests I just counted them so that’s not not really that many so I’m actually pretty sure we can make that work but like I said that is one that we can get

Done in the next episode along with the whole of the bottom floor I want this finished and completed and then we can move our way up to the next floor which I ain’t got a clue what to do with it none at all no clue whatsoever what I’m
