But no they’re they’re over a lot of very Dynamic terrain there’s just yeah there’s no way to make this easy so I’m going to ignore it and do something else Doc’s got himself a walking goat that he has parked in this rather gorgeous garage and it’s going to walk straight

Into our camp so I’m going to build a robot that contests the goat and explodes it his walks Oz walks they Collide big explosions happen which I think means we win let’s get designing I’ve just looked up how to build a missile and for some reason I’m in jail

Now so I guess I’m just gonna have to work this out all by myself okay so it collides and then it pushes backwards into something that will power the TNT yeah that’s how that works or I should say it collides and then the machine compresses causing something that powers

The TNT to come in contact with the TNT I imagine something like this will work so this is our TNT this here is our compression area this is the Redstone Block that will power the TNT and then this back here is just our motor let’s see how well that actually works

Not well clearly put too much TNT up at the front oh actually this line block stuck to this Observer that was silly now let’s see how well it works everything is moving well everything is going to plan then it collides and TNT occurs excellent

This is a solid start so now I know how to do the explosive Collision mechanics let’s actually build the giant walking robot design wise I kind of imagine this being a giant Buttercup and it is a crawling buttercup it’s kind of scary so the legs are essentially going to be the

Roots and then we’re going to have a stalk going upwards and then there’s going to be a buttercup head up high but then all of the explosive stuff is going to be down at the bottom now how many legs should a buttercup have I mean for

Some reason I imagine it with four legs that’s just what it’s like in my brain I’m sure that will spark Fierce debate down in the comment section and now I’m doubting myself should I have six legs honestly I don’t know anymore no of course it shouldn’t everyone knows

Buttercups have four legs so now I need to build the motor which is going to be powering the legs and pushing everything along I just realized that I built this around a two block Center instead of a one block Center which means I have to start again now I’m back in action and

I’ve got the Piston layout worked out and now we have all of the things that are going to fire all of the Pistons and I gotta say with all of the lime green concrete this thing’s looking really cool already I’m just curious to see if it actually works please don’t embarrass me

Please don’t embarrass me oh what’s happened something has crunched I’m I’m confused as to what’s crashed into what here was it was it that Okay okay yeah it managed to pick up a block but now it is back working and we have got a walking sequence it’s slightly oddly timed so I think I might do something about that but that works but yeah it going in a circle that’s not actually how things

Work so I either go right inside then left side so it’s like front right back right front left back left or I go both front then both back or I do the diagonals at the same times which is kind of complicated after a lot of head scratching I’ve managed to come

Up with this new sequence which is somehow worse I don’t know I’m messing this up so much also I have no clue what these are by the way I don’t know why they keep appearing after even more head scratching I’ve done it I’ve created the perfect walking animation for this walking robot

That is absolutely spot on we’ve got front leg the back leg front leg back leg that looks natural that looks balanced everything looks correct here apart from this what are you why won’t you leave me alone and our robot actually destroyed them yes it can a robot can destroy the dark patches in

The world I mean out of pure curiosity how does it handle goats oh doing the damage okay okay fine if if the goat performs a course correction then we do have some issues but otherwise I’d say is doing good now I need to do all of the extra decoration

Bits this is just the bottom this is just the walking sequence it’s taking me hours my perfectionism causes me great pain and pleasure this build is really satisfying especially now that it has all of the detonation circuitry which totally didn’t work but now it does and it’s glorious I’ve also added some

Flower decorations to the body which I think look really really good and now I have some flower decorations up at the top which means this entire build is now all completed and it isn’t again it’s it’s like a great I mean this is probably one of the strangest flying

Walking machines I think I’ve ever created I mean there there’s a lot going on here I’d say it looks especially good from the ground I really like these top sections I mean it does kind of look like a guy who’s doing some dad dancing but you know what I’m all for that and

The good news is everything is working perfectly I’ve tested it properly I’m not going to share it walking to you though until we actually have the massive boss battle I’m sorry it will be worth the wait though so let’s get it built on the hermitcraft server however

There is one problem I have to fix first you see I don’t really have much Redstone at all and much to my dismay green doesn’t have any Redstone either which meant I was briefly panicking that we weren’t actually going to be able to construct this without going on a mining

Resources I need to be very careful here so I would imagine I’m gonna need to count blocks so that is three six that is 9 10. 11 and then we’ve got space for one piece of TNT underneath that is TNT block number 12. I’m pretty proud of myself for Designing this I’m pretty

Flying machines because it means that you can get an entire coverage it kind of gets around the issue of piston block push limits and yeah it’s worked incredibly well in this example I will forever be jealous of Bingo’s abilities don’t worry about a cup I still love you

Think it feels right so I’m not even gonna reference the old world I’m just going to keep building and then when I look at it and think that’s about the right height that’s where I’m going to stop I mean this feels okay but it doesn’t look quite right it’s too squat

It’s yeah it’s way too short so let’s keep going I would say we probably have about another 10 or 15 blocks to go yes I would say that is about right is it too tall I think when you can see this Edge it looks correct it only looks

Here it’s pretty cool to know that even doing it blind the results were exactly the same so let’s build up our other pillar and that is looking cool very cool and then it is frog lamp and strip wood time which I eventually found a rhythm on but I have totally lost it now

This is so clunky I mean should I have my blocks in a better way or my on my on my Hotbar like is this how people build things quickly I don’t understand how people play Minecraft fast I am like the clunkiest worst Minecraft player and don’t say it’s because I press shift

Like an evil Art Deco structure that’s the only way that I can describe it and I think most of that look is attributed to these things right here so let’s get them say what you will about the recent Minecraft updates but things like frock lights deep slate copper look how good

All of these blocks look probably some of the nicest looking blocks ever added to the game so the first one is now finished now it’s time for the next one now it’s time for the outside two and now we have got the main frontal structure all completed and how many

Black stone makes his way across like this creating that big diagonal wall oh it seems like I actually built it wrong I think this should be an easy fix I think I’ve just built it one block too far forward yeah I think I got lucky here okay it should just be removing this

Pillar and putting it on the back so that’s now been fixed and I’ve built up the other Edge as well so now I need to build up the inside bits which I think just go something like this so I need the wood going across here and then we’ve got those two faces

Showing with all of the planks in the middle this is an embarrassing waste of words don’t worry I did destroy it and pick it out I would say as far as resources are concerned the wood part is probably the part that I’m going to run

Out of first I seem to be okay on Blackstone I’m beginning to run low on deep slate but yeah we’re almost totally out of wood now which is slightly concerning because that was I think a five or six maybe even seven at our resource gathering mission and it’s only
