The unitycraft smp is filled with competitive shops there’s literally a shop for most things rockets jigged prismarine taped glass ticked even custom banners ticked even worse than the saturated shopping district i’m running low on diamonds there’s just so many things you can buy on the server so i can’t stop spending

So it looks like the smp has left me no choice but to bring out my greatest weapon smp shop ideas i need to set up a shop of my own in this video and by the end of the video i need to get my diamonds back up and as you know a shop

Is not easy to build we’re gonna be needing to come up with ideas and plans for what we’re gonna sell where we’re to be putting our actual shop building and some weird and wonderful marketing strategies to stand out from the rest of the crowd and get some customers in the door but the

Problems don’t stop there you see i have seven days to record edit and post this video or else one of you will get mad at me in the comment sections so let’s get to work day one the first day is going back to the drawing board we need to figure out what

We want to sell and remember research is the most important step to a successful shop but you see there was one issue that we’re having with most members already having automatic farms i decided to sell unfarmable blocks but we’ll come back to this later on but first let’s

Bizarre idea all right it’s going to be definitely eye-catching that i’ve planned so i want the audience or the customers to see the shop as soon as they leave the portal so i was thinking there all right that’s what i laid out it’s going to be 16 blocks tall so that’s gonna be

Quite a big little shop um it will fit in this area and for your reference i have got that up so it’s gonna be that tall that’s 16 blocks tall 16 blocks wide and yeah i feel like that definitely is gonna pop if you look from here it’s

Definitely noticeable all right that is perfect now that everything is set in stone it’s time for me to cause some deforestation around here especially of spruce and oak and a lot more other things that i need to collect because this is not gonna be an easy task so

Let’s get to work let’s start off this first day by collecting some raw materials and uh yeah let’s just get started Day two the second day was all about the building now that we have decided on where we want to build i decided to get to work on our actual shop i decided that we would build our shop as a barrel now listen i know it sounds bizarre but that makes it perfect

First off our shop name is going to be dirty works and a barrel kind of resonates with the name but what makes the idea genius is the fact that we need something that brings out people’s curiosity you know a barrel in the plane shopping district is going to stick out

Like a sore thumb remember we did strategically place our shop right in line with the nether portal that we have in our shopping district so if someone comes out of the portal they’re gonna be like seeing our shop and they’ll be like what can they can you possibly sell in a

Barrel and that’s gonna just click on people’s attention but with everything going so well what could possibly go wrong day three Today is gonna be the most important day we’re gonna be working on the interior and the interior is everything now that we have gotten people to actually go through the door we need to work on the interior so that we people actually stay in the store get interested and perhaps

Buy an item and to do this i had a genius idea we were going to be going with the grocery store method now let me just explain this to you every grocery store has the bait item right the bait item is an item that people want to buy the most

In our case it’s going to be sand and gravel because i figure people are going to be needing concrete and you know sand and gravel makes concrete the grocery store method is essentially having your bait item the most popular item on your menu put in the very back of the store

And filling the whole middle section with items that people might not generally buy so what people have to do is they will have to actually walk through and pass all the items seeing all the different items that people now might buy like our andesites cobbles dirts and just all other different

Blocks until they get to the bait item which is what they really want that will make the customers see all the different options maybe the cheap prices and maybe they will pick up a few extra blocks here and there to get more sales while they’re still buying the bait item that

They still want with everything coming along the store was in place to stop selling but i decided to work on our four secret marketing strategies to finalize everything and put in the finishing touches to get even more diamonds day four our shop is really coming along here

Take a look at this this is the portal out of the shopping district and you can see that this thing pops like a sore thumb let’s have a look inside we have this little staircase everything is looking so beautiful i must say the interior is pretty good i will say that

For myself that is pretty good and you know again the grocery store method that we’re going with we’ve got andesite and cobble deep slate and a bunch of the other blocks that are in the way and our main attraction is of course our sand and gravel which is up here which we

Have plenty of stock for and if you just go down here these things are also filled to the brim with andesite i’m pretty sure people would really like andesite that’s why it’s kind of uh in right here in the entrance and everything else is along the walls so

Now that the store is all in place and ready to sell i’ve got four strategies for marketing strategies that i want to imply to this shop so that we can even get more sales starting off with a book to explain everything and yep we’ve got

Fourthly i was thinking that we were gonna be doing a main attraction this is gonna be our main pull for the people and that’s going to be a lottery system i want to give away free lottery tickets where you can cash in on this at the store come in put your lottery ticket

Here and press a button to get some of these rewards some are pretty good like these ones you know you can take a stack of anything and you know leave this little piece of paper as the payment or a diamond chess play but other things

Are okay but it is free after all i’ve got one for every single member this is just to get people in the store and you know maybe to cash in and look around and maybe they’ll buy something that’s my main idea here and lastly i want to get a dog in here

Because who doesn’t love a dog i’ll just put pop a dog little dog in here or something and they can just roam around and have fun with the people just so that people are just a little bit more attached to the store but it looks like

I’ve got two of those things ticked off i’ve got the food and the book ticked off now i just need to distribute these lottery tickets and i actually need to get a dog and it looks like pugs is actually on the server right now and she

Is in her store so maybe we can sneakily throw her this little lottery ticket here is the woman herself pugs is right here let’s just drop her a little lottery ticket hopefully she’s online because she’s not moving i’m just gonna throw a little punch so that she knows i’m here

And yeah we’re just gonna give that to her and run away all right this is actually calm space she’s at so maybe we can actually drop calm a ticket too one down a few more to go and that should be a lottery ticket for everybody delivered

A little bit more to the side a little bit just a little bit there there we go i guess that’s fine that’s fine that’s fine we’ll put him right beside our lecture here and he is looking great we have got everything in place our four marketing

Between the few days i have actually gone up for an end busting session as you can see just end busting for fun and i did get a lot of shocker boxes which i decided to sell in the shop because i feel like it fits you know it is

Unfarmable and as you can see it’s up there so we’re gonna have some new items here which meant i had to move the sand and gravel down here let’s just see if we have got any sales or oh graveless four diamonds on gravel um and yes so there’s there’s been one lottery ticket

That’s been cashed in but i do know that that was calm uh because he did cash in in front of me but you know i feel like people just haven’t cashed it in yet or they’re waiting in to cash in but they are buying things and two diamonds on the sand too

Now let’s see what we have i mean these items are not really being sold right now i have clay um which i still need to stock and you know put the signs up and everything dirt is not being sold yep nothing here and nothing there i mean there’s nothing there anyway uh cobbled

Amount of sales there that is three boxes gone we’re already at 13 and rod a cheeky one diamond okay we’ll take that n rod oh they’re all gone they’re all basically gone that’s eight all right let’s have a look at the shulker boxes here wow

Oh my word they’re all gone i mean i still have a few i could restock but holy 22 diamonds just after a few days that is incredible that just brought our total diamonds up to 47 and i gave away a few to serve because i was just nice i gave him like

Three or four so we would have had 51 diamonds just after a week of work so it looks like this has been a successful video and i hope you can take away some of our strategies that we use to implement in the shop to get sales
