Hey there everyone welcome to another Minecraft video here this is going to be another Minecraft tutorial within this video I’m going to be showing you how to add custom enchantments to any item in the game and in order to actually do that I’m going to have to show you how You can do it using Minecraft commands so I’m going to be showing you how to do enchantments tags or enchantment tags on items using a give command in Minecraft and uh an example here is if I use this Command right here that I have prepared You can see that it’s given me a never ride sword right here but it has a sharpness and loyalty enchantment on it of level 100 now first off in Survival Minecraft you cannot get a level 100 enchantment okay but also you cannot get loyalty enchantments on swords either so You can actually add enchantments to any item so long as you specify what particular enchantment you want so you could even add a fire aspect enchantment to a piece of redstone it’s you know there’s lots of different possibilities you can actually do so what I’m going to do here is in order to Show you these commands that I’m using within this video I’m going to be showing you the command in a text editor because that’s the clearest way that I can explain how you can actually formulate the command and how it’s actually wrote for the game so let’s go And look at the commands in more detail all right everyone we’re now inside the text editor this I can show you these actual commands right here so here are two variants of the command and I will put the commands for these in the description as well so that you can look At them in more detail but uh these two variants of these commands one of them just adds one enchantment to a item and the other one adds a collection of enchantments or two enchantments to a particular item so in both cases we are giving an item and in this case you need To specify the username or the selector you want to give the item to so this might be a particular person or if you use a selector like at P which means the nearest player or you could use at a which means everyone or all players so that’s your decision to make but I’m Then using an item id of Minecraft colon never right sword so that’s how I’m specifying the item I want to do and then this is where the magic happens right here so we specify an enchantment data tag and all the enchantments thing is is a collection of data and basically These square brackets right here is basically symbolizing a collection of data and this is one enchantment object right here so we are specifying an ID of the enchantment which happens to be Minecraft colon sharpness so that’s for the sharpness enchantment and then we are specifying the level or the strength Of the enchantment so in this case we’re doing level 100 but you could set this to pretty much most values there might be a maximum but you’ve got quite a bit of freedom in what you actually select you know if you select you know level 10 That will work as well that you can pick almost any value that you wish and as I said there’s other variant of the command within the square brackets actually has two enchantment objects in it so it has the sharpness enchantment but it also has another object which is The Loyalty uh enchantment with level 100 okay and that’s about it it’s as simple as that you just need to provide an enchantments collection action for that item and you can do literally anything so the next thing I need to show you is how you actually find out The Minecraft item id that you want to actually specify for your command and how you find out these IDs for the enchantments themselves all right everyone the first thing we actually have to go through is we need to figure out how we actually get the item IDs That we want to actually Target so how you actually do that is on Java Edition what you can do is you can use the air free and H key at the same time like so and you need to make sure that the advanced tool tips are shown okay and Once the advanced tool tips are shown in the game if you hover over any item in the game like Redstone Dust for example it will give you the item id underneath in the tooltip so it will then say Minecraft colon Redstone I could pick another one right here like this Flowering Azalea is Minecraft colon flowering Azalea so that’s how you find out the item IDs for the item that you want to actually generate with your custom enchantments all right everyone I’m also going to leave a link in the description of this video for a really useful webpage with on Dig Minecraft and This actually contains a list of the enchantments that are available okay for Java Edition and this actually then gives you the enchantment IDs you need if you want to specify particular enchantments so if I want to use blast protection then it’s just blast underscore protection if I want to use Uh flame it’s just flame Frost Walker Frost underscore Walker and so on so this allows you to figure out which enchantments you want to actually put on your said item and which IDs you need just by looking at this web page right here all right everyone that’s about it for This tutorial on how to actually add custom enchantments to your items in Minecraft using commands and it’s pretty straightforward as you’ve seen it’s really easy to do with the give command in Minecraft and as I’ve said you can literally do with absolutely anything so I’ve actually applied my really huge Sharpness and loyalty enchantment to this carrot right here so you can literally pick literally any item you want in the game it’s uh you know there’s a lot of freedom in it for sure but hopefully you found learn something new and you enjoyed watching this video if you did Then a like And subscribe on the video be very much appreciated and make sure you hit the notification Bell so you stay notified of any future videos I also have a Twitter which is in the description or on screen
