How To Beat The Warden In Minecraft Hardcore 1.19! (#37)

[Applause] that’s right guys the long awaited and highly anticipated minecraft 1.19 update is finally released with this update minecraft has added in new mobs a new biome and even a new boss a boss that is so insanely strong that we uh we might we might lose the series uh trying to

Fight him no like seriously though the warden is very strong as a player we have 20 health points in minecraft the ender dragon has 200 health points in minecraft the warden has a whopping 500 health points in minecraft and so today we are going to attempt to defeat the

Warden i don’t know if that’s going to happen however before we even get to fighting one we have to find one and before we get to finding one i want to find a mangrove swamp because i want to be able to at least see that before potentially losing our world but before

We find the mangrove swamp i need a sip of g-fuel and now with that out of the way now let’s head into the nether so that we can travel really far away and find some uh chunks that aren’t even rendered at all so there’s a possibility that you

Know it’ll be a nice fresh mangrove swamp also there’s no optifine or anything because i’m literally playing this as minecraft released it so there’s gonna be a lot of fog there’s gonna be a lot of lag and i’ll be very depressed and this should be plenty far enough now

Let’s build up a new portal real quick and hop in now for finding a mangrove swamp technically they spawn most commonly near jungles i believe this this isn’t a jungle this is the worst biome in minecraft this is birch yeah stuff’s gross regardless thomas zip around real quick and attempt to find a

Jungle biome or just the mangrove swamp in and of itself and see if we can be able to do a little bit of exploration because there’s new mobs and stuff like that in the mangrove swamp that makes it pretty cool not to mention that you know

There’s new wood and stuff like that so it’s like why not just check it out because honestly it might be one of my favorite biomes like because the swamp biome is cool it just it just doesn’t got the juice you know it’s not special it’s not uh tasty it’s just kind of oh

Here’s a jungle bomb oh and a village which actually it’s turning night time hello everybody i have no fear i do have a sword and all i request is a bed well this isn’t even a jungle biome it’s literally just like a blended together like what is this modified jungle

Nowadays or i don’t even know what they call it anymore that’s not what i’m looking oh there it is never mind that’s the jungle a very tiny one now whatever we’re just gonna keep flying until we find one oh wait mangrove trees there we go we finally found it it’s actually in a

Really cool area this is like a like a nice shallow beachy area next to a jungle and then uh floating floating land yeah it’s beautiful uh regardless though we finally found it this forest is supposed to be on echo mode literally super super dense filled with all sorts of new juicy content like

Mud yeah but which apparently it’s supposed to be really easy to make if you have like bottles you’re able to oh wait i could just shovel this wait why i was able to break that so easily the muddy mangrove roots oh so underneath the trees you got roots muddy roots i guess

If you want to use that as like a building block or something i just hate the way this sounds when you’re walking on it it’s yeah no one in their right mind would ever want to actually use that as a building block right unless maybe a wall

But regardless though there could be a lot of mobs inside this forest because it’s just constant overcast and dark and it’s just scary is this moss it is mossy carpet yeah they’ve really changed this a lot since the beta i played this tiny bit in the beta and then these are

Supposed to be the the mangrove like saplings or something like that i plant it oh yeah and then you just bone meal it and it grows nice now as cool as mud and trees are well actually speaking of trees i haven’t even looked at the trees

Which are like up on these roots and i can’t even get there we go the woods right here it’s red now for the wood it’s literally just like this kind of nasty chunky red if i’ll be completely honest i don’t really care i’m sorry mojang but

I just yeah i know you know it’s like i if i’m going to use red i kind of like crimson wood a little bit more not going to lie why is that door got a got a hole in it wait why does the hole not have like a like a three-dimensional texture

Like a door does it’s like it’s missing a small chunk right there so i heard noises i’m scared okay enough about trash talking the doors what i want to find inside the mag what i want to find inside the mangrove is not a cactus is i want to find a

Frog because frogs in minecraft are supposed to be really op because they’re able to make these new frog lights and frog lights are really cool because there’s different colors of it the thing is is that they’re challenging to get because frogs have to eat a magma slime

So frog plus magma slime equals really cool hard to get light which means that there’s going to be farm potential though so real quick i’m going to try to just run through this mangrove like indiana jones and do my best to not get clapped by a creeper sitting under a

Tree and just try to find a frog i just want to find a froggy friend about to give up all hope i’m just taking this to the skies oh my gosh this is huge it’s actually so dense okay maybe going to the skies isn’t really gonna work i just wanted to fly around

Oh wait wait wait wait wait oh my gosh we found some we did it we found some some froggies why are they pale i thought they’re supposed to be different colors i thought i thought mangrove ones are supposed to be and it’s raining it’s like minecraft wants me to have

Depression why is it gonna be like this i thought the frogs are supposed to be orange when they’re inside the mangrove swamp i know you can breed them by giving them slime which i don’t have right now um the slime spawn in this uh in the swamp or the regular swamp i

Think yeah there’s a regular swamp right here okay i’m gonna go get some slime real quick oh wait it’s like a full-on thunderstorm going on right now i haven’t seen a thunderstorm in minecraft in a fortnight now it’s just a matter of going to bed but honestly i might stay awake i mean

You know in the off chance that a uh skelly horse wants to spawn for me um you know i’d be that’d be quite nice i wouldn’t mind that falls in your court i’ll just be chasing thunder all night i guess in the meantime i’ll just seek refuge in this

Uh villager outpost which actually has more content in it and i’ll get to that content during the day excuse me do you mind if i say okay oh they also got a horn more content this isn’t even the content i was thinking about this this is the content i can do at nighttime

Yeah you can blow farts out of the horn now uh there’s supposed to be a bunch of different sounds that you could blow out of the horn including the pillager horn when they’re raiding a village i’m just getting the same horn sound [Applause] okay maybe i’m missing something here um

But um yeah you can get a laze at these pillager outposts oh my gosh there’s a lot of pillages here uh you could save a leis from the pillager outpost by letting them loose out of these cages and when you let them loose you give

Baby or no that’s right they don’t just make a baby frog they make tadpoles or they lay eggs in the water so like right now i think this is supposed to be mama’s right here okay all right relax guys oh is it because i’m holding the

Slime is that why all right well anyways when they’re done doing the dew they go find water and when they find water then they lay their eggs in the water is that what you’re doing when you guys gotta be laying it oh there we go i light eggs so

These are the eggs i picked these up that’s awkward uh regardless though then they turn into tadpoles they grow up and then boom you got more froggies i’ll be honest frogs are uh kind of cool either way the next big thing that i kind of want to go look at on this adventure

Here checking out the 1.19 stuff is going to be the deep dark real quick before we go off finding an aim real quick before we go off finding uh some ancient ruins and fighting a warden we’re definitely gonna need to prep for it because i i tried i tried beating him

On another world just you know test it out see how it goes and uh it went kind of like this okay oh here he is okay can i hit him while he’s like this no i can’t okay um so how many hits does it okay it’s pretty decent but oh my gosh

What was that okay maybe maybe i could tower up he can’t reach me no he can’t he can reach me he can reach me all right yeah that’s that’s pretty hard so you can say it’s uh not going to be easy and so i what i’m going to do real

Quick is i’m going to use to make a whole lot of emeralds and just sell them a bunch of potatoes so i think about it i i literally have an emerald farm uh that is a raid farm and i don’t need to sell potatoes to get money anymore but

We’re already here besides i don’t think we need that many emeralds because my whole goal is to just get a bunch of apples now most of these farmers i believe so okay maybe not most of them um do you guys sell apples please tell me victor okay you sell apples there we

Go now we got a stack of golden apples and we’re gonna fly up to the giant chest real quick and grab some gold okay well i guess i gotta go get all the gold out of the gold farm because we should have plenty of gold in here still oh

Yeah i know we’ll be okay the old farm goes too hard and then i’m just gonna craft up a bunch of gapples real quick because when we’re fighting the ward and we’re probably not gonna be eating regular food i’ll be completely honest we’ll probably only be eating golden

Apples um so i’m going to craft up this whole stack of apples real quick and then now that we got all these gapples out of the way one other thing that i do want to do is make some potions because i actually think potions might be my

Saving grace here and preventing me from dying and losing the hardcore world entirely so yeah let’s just real quick fast forward i just realized i gave all these guys jobs um yeah anyways let’s just fast forward making some potions real quick all right now i’ve crafted up a bunch of

Strength two potions and red i almost said respiration regeneration potion so i just have constant healing at least uh plus the golden apples that i’ll be chugging so we should be able to hopefully not die in two hits this is so unnecessary literally no one needs to

Fight the warden they design the mob to avoid and not go after but what do they think is gonna happen obviously everyone that’s super op in minecraft is just gonna go straight for fighting it regardless there’s one last thing that i do need to pick up real quick and that

Is gonna be some totems so i’m gonna fly on over to the totem farm and go pick some up because we should have a pretty big supply of totems in here and i shouldn’t have to worry about farming it i also got some instant health potions

And stuff too so here let me load up the shulker box just full of totems i will probably need every single one of them and then also these instant healing potions why not i mean i’ll definitely take those and then maybe i just upgrade them a little bit all right and now we

Officially got plenty of totems plenty of potions and i hope that it’s gonna be enough uh this got me nervous now i’m going to attempt to fly and find an ancient ruin this is going to probably take a really long time now originally when finding the mangrove i wanted to go

Through the nether however i want to find an ancient ruin somewhere semi-close by for a future video that i want to do so i’m pretty much just going to travel in any sort of direction that i don’t think i’ve traveled very much in and then probably just try to go caving

And see if i can find absolutely anything let’s just go on this nice little adventure oh okay here’s our first little section of the uh the deep dark that we’re finding here not an ancient city this that uh that skulk stuff that gives you a lot of xp apparently also i can’t see

Anything man i hate playing without optifine and being able to have my gamma all the way up oh we got a shrieker okay so that is a skull sensor that sends a signal right to that and then that could spawn a warden now i don’t want to fight

A oh this isn’t happening right here okay we’re in the clear i want to find an ancient city i don’t want to fight it just in a cave by itself you know what i’m saying but there’s a lot of skulk down here there is a lot of skulk and

It’s so i thought i was gonna set it off it is so scary i’m just gonna keep flying around in these caves for a few minutes here and trying to find something just don’t know how far down we gotta go to be able to find this thing i also just don’t know how

Uncommon these things are because it’s like i’m seeing so much of the skulk stuff but i’m not seeing anything that would like give me signs of an ancient ruin that’s the thing is i’m pretty sure we’re ancient we’re in ancient city because i’m pretty sure ancient cities

Are supposed to literally just be okay like that uh what that oh my gosh dude it actually is an ancient city oh my gosh i just got nervous i just got chills i’m scared to go down here now okay we got a shrieker thing right there

My goal is to first of all i want to dig up to be able to come back to this place whenever i want to but i don’t want to set off any sort of streakers or anything so here let’s just try to finesse my way down here okay yeah we

Should be chilling we should be chilling because i also want to try to get the swift sneak uh enchantment because that’s the new enchantment that you could get out of the ancient cities first let me dig straight up though then i’ll know exactly where this is in the

Surface and the surface on the surface i should be able to come back here for a later video that is if we survive this entire thing um all right now that we’re officially at the top now i can just easily make like a little tower i could be able to come

Back here whenever i need to okay we should be big chilling except we’re probably not and i’m getting a little nervous i’m not gonna lie like no matter how much you prepare to fight the warden warden is just so unbelievably strong and scary there is also one other strategy that i do want

To try that i haven’t tried yet which is using some lava also to fight cause lava is pretty ob heavily slept on when you’re fighting big mob so let’s try to make our way all the way down nice and quiet okay we’re already down here now

Ideally i’d like to try to loot this thing as much as possible before getting any sort of confrontation with this guy but uh i don’t know if that’s really gonna work out i don’t think i get to really decide uh when i’m gonna be able

To fight him all i do know is i need to make sure that i got plenty of blocks on hand plenty of potions primed and ready and some totems primed and ready as well okay let me get a couple of totems ready and a couple of healing potions also

Primed and ready so i could easily just grab them and get this all organized oh my gosh i’m so nervous i also got to put the gaffles on hand my inventory is just so full and cluttered now oh my gosh dude i’m so nervous i also didn’t bring

Enough arrows just now realize that yep see when you’re prepared you’re just actually not prepared and that’s just the bottom line uh okay we gotta avoid the shriekers as much as possible because it’s the shriekers that’s summoned him the skulkers set off the streakers and then it’s just that’s it

I’m gonna try to loot i don’t know if i can here real quick i’m gonna sneak my way over got some chest okay got a music disc piece a lot of coal some name tags projectile protection every chest you open makes noise literally every chest

Okay i got a bunch of just throwing that down okay now i don’t even want to open any chest can i break the shriekers uh you could break shrieker because this chest was only setting off uh skulkers they’re not setting off any shriekers i think it’s the shriekers that summon the

Actual warden itself in the clear here i just got such a bad feeling about this now that i’m down here it sounded like such a fun video at the at the beginning and then now it’s just you know you know i want to try to go like inside of this

Thing real quick because that’s one thing i really haven’t done was actually try to loot the ancient city which i mean i just got 40 coal out of literally just one chest so i imagine there’s probably some solid loot in this thing i also want to set down some torches bro i

Can’t see a dang thing down here okay as long as it’s not setting off any shriekers we should be fine we got a couple shriekers right here that are right next to a chest and some skulkers so i’m going to try breaking this it might make a noise it did it made a

Noise he made a noise i made a noise too in the heartbeat i think that means i need to shut up he didn’t spawn okay i think we’re in the clear because i think a couple shriekers have to go off for him to actually spawn i’m so nervous

Thorns soul no no no regeneration two that’s solid uh just no i didn’t hear him spawn i think we’re fine that got me nervous man i i’m honestly i can’t take it anymore i really can’t take these nerves i gotta i think i might just spawn him and just do my best

To fight him and try to run away if it’s not going well because i’m dude like i’m just i’m starting to get nervous and it’s starting to give me anxiety and i’m not vibing except what is the structure this structure looks really cool i want

To go check that out first i’m going to try to stay in a nice open area i could give this man’s the hands okay yeah it’s just like a normal parkway type thing which this might be a pretty decent spot to fight this is pretty open oh well i

Goal here was to dump lava on him and then just start pumping arrows into him but i didn’t bring enough arrows and i realized that is he leaving oh we leave oh okay that’s not too bad that’s not too bad so if there’s nothing going on

He’ll just do it all right i like that i like that okay i also need to put on my chest plate i just now realized that i don’t have that on okay i might spawn him again might spawn him again here got a lot of totems there were generation

Potions and i’m nervous um here we go okay three i know that’ll set up i know that’ll set that off okay he’s spawning literally right on me i dumped lava on him hopefully come on come on lava please do the work i was in the lava doing anything i dropped it literally

Right on top of him does lava not do anything to him i think i see him oh my gosh i’m stuck was he coming towards me he is he’s coming towards me there’s no way there’s no chance there’s literally no chance i can’t see anything right now

I don’t like that okay okay okay i see a little bit of light from this stupid thing i wasn’t ready i wasn’t ready i wasn’t ready he’s still following me that’s the irritating thing is that this guy is still following me i think i lost his scent because the blindness is going

Away the blindness is the hardest part and i also want to make sure i got enough light to be able to see because it’s just so hard to see him oh my gosh he’s not coming towards me okay brother i’m about to press you he’s actually just following me and it’s kind of

Triggering but this could be a strategy i could lure him away from other shriekers and stuff i can’t see anything like i know if i can’t say anything you guys cannot see anything here we go okay i think i shook him finally new strategy though new strategy i’m gonna dig a hole

Right here he’s three blocks tall i know he has a ranged attack i don’t think it’s that far of range though i think it’s maybe like 15 blocks 10 blocks or something like that no i could shoot an arrow way farther than that oh hey look

Some diamonds but this is gonna be my method of killing him now after observing kind of like how he like slowly follows he leaves and i know he has the ranged attack because we tried fighting him on the other world but this is gonna be my method of beating the

Warden and if this doesn’t work maybe i’ll just cry hey look more diamonds i know he can also hit through a wall as well like that’s just something he can do is just swing through a wall and if for some reason he’s able to fit through this for whatever reason here i’m gonna

Have like another escape route that i’ll be able to like kind of plug up and run up actually you know here i’ll probably just dig all the way up to the surface also because i need to go home just to be able to get some more arrows because

Thing also i’m just going to set down this axolotl that i found earlier and i want to try dumping lava just directly on top of him oh wait let me also put back on my chest plate okay let me try dumping lava on top of him again maybe

That’ll do some damage because it should also slow him down that’s my biggest hope is that lava should be able to slow him down a decent bit they set off the shrieker there we go set that off come on i’m running around oh i’m running

I was gonna run close after that last era and he died all right well that’s a thing um so i’m going to go ahead and put on my lights right here get some more rockets and i’m just going to fly around and try to loot chest as fast as i can without

Uh the warden being able to spawn and get me so i got chest right here some spawning so i guess oh my god i’m so blind oh my god i’m flying blind now where am i i’m so nervous okay that’s a ladder okay that’s that’s something else um

Okay i see torches i’ve been here wait i think i know where i am i think that’s the exit yep okay i found my exit all right we’re big chilling we’re big um but yeah looting that that was terrifying uh because i didn’t know that the blindness is just like permanent the

Second he spawned and i’m just flying around completely blind and i could fly right into a wall either way though we slayed two wardens and we got to be able to loot at least an ancient city i didn’t get the the the swift sneak the problem with swift sneak is that i’m

Like 99 certain you can’t have it with soul speed though and if that is the case then i’d rather have soul speed all day i’m not living my life in these ancient cities so you know i mean i go in the nether way more frequently regardless though guys that’s me for
