How to Build a Cherry Blossom Temple | Minecraft 1.20 Tutorial

Foreign Crafters today in this video I will show you how to build a Cherry Blossom Japanese Temple but before we start here are all the materials you are going to need you can now pause here for the layout of this build once you have the layout done follow the

Layout and put two high stone bricks the whole way around on every single block here and that should end up looking just like that next place a stone brick there and there and an upside down stone brick stair there and there then you’re gonna break that block right there place a

Stair there and place a stair there and do the same on the other side then we’re going to break these two blocks right here put a stair there a stair there and stairs just like that and we’ll come over to this side and put three upside down stairs just like that

And come and do the same on this side fill the rest in with stone bricks just like that then we’re gonna come over to this side and do the exact same thing and both of those sides should be matching then when we’re done now we’re going to add the floor to this build

Just come over here and follow along this Edge right here and fill the entire floor but don’t put any blocks on top of these right like this and then we’re gonna fill it all in if you’re building this in survival you may want to put some torches down here

That way mobs can’t spawn after everything is all covered up and there we go it should end up looking just like that now take stone brick stairs and put them upside down the whole way around just like this and there we go we are done with the

Base now now we’re gonna Mark the pillars for the start of the building come over to the right hand corner and go over one two three four blocks and then go one two and place a barrel then Place Another Barrel right like that so it’s two blocks from this side

And two blocks from that side then go one two three and place a stripped Spruce log go one two three Place Another Barrel one two three four place a barrel one two three place a stripped log one two three place a barrel place a barrel on just like that

Side and now we have the front done like that place a barrel right here as well and right here just like that now copy what we did on this side on that side over there just like that now once that’s done we’re going to do the same exact design

As we did on the front go over three go over three go over three just like that and do the same on that side over there and there we go we now have the outline for our build now we’re going to place three stripped Spruce logs on top of

Each Barrel the whole way around end up with something that looks somewhat like that and then we’re gonna put a barrel on top of each one of those just like this and that should be good right there right here by the stairs we’re gonna put one stripped Spruce log on each side and

Do the same on that side over here Then we’re going to put three on top of each one of the remaining barrels we should be left with something looking about like that now we’re going to fill the wall with calcite coming in here leaving the corner empty and just going along just like this the whole way around the build

And then bring that wall the whole way to the top of this pillar when you’re done the wall should match the same height as these Spruce fillers which are eight blocks tall and it should look something just like that next I’m going to show you how to build the windows

Bring some Spruce trap doors the whole way along just like that do an upside down Spruce stair and then a normal one and then the same on that side put a slab right there like that then put three Cherry fences on each side like that and then we’re going to take a

Spruce stair there a spruce stair there and upside down white like that and that put that right there and then we’re going to put a dark oak sign right just like that we’re gonna break a three by three window like that we’re gonna come in here and put nine Cherry trap doors just

Like that and we’re gonna come back outside and take three Cherry fence gates put them in the front just like that and open them up and there we go we have the window completed now go ahead and repeat that seven more times around the build on two on each side

Just like that and then you’re done with the windows on the bottom level next we’re going to work on the front door placing six Cherry fences going up like that and then we’ll put two gates on each side right there and then we’re gonna put two Cherry signs right there

Then we’re gonna break three blocks on each side go inside put a trapdoor there and there come back outside and put a cherry door just right there and then we’re gonna copy it on the other side and there we go the doors are now done on the sides

That don’t have the doors we’re just gonna come in here and put three Spruce trap doors then we’re gonna do some upside down stairs and a slab three Cherry fences on each side like that we’re gonna do some Spruce stairs there and there and then we’re gonna do

The same thing on the other side put five Cherry fences and a spruce slab in each corner of this build put a spruce stair there and there over top of both of the doors now we’re gonna go around the entire builds and put strip Spruce logs just like this at this level

And it should look just like this when we’re done now we’re gonna build the front porch and remember it is the same on both sides so you can copy it starting out with a spruce stair there and there then we’re gonna put one like that on each side

Just like that and we’re going to put a spruce trapdoor right there in the middle then we’re gonna come up here and we’re going to bring two out like that put a temporary block there then put five over just like that then we’re gonna come up here and we’re

Gonna put a spruce stair there and there now get your cherry planks and come out five blocks and we’re just making the roof here now come over here and do the same thing and you end up with something like that that’s five blocks long now come in the

Middle with your Spruce stair place a temporary block like that and that then we’re gonna do four Oak stairs out like that on both sides come underneath here go like that on there and then put an oak plank like that at the top now get your dark oak

Slab and come out here just like that put an upside down dark oak stair along those right there and then come over here and do the same thing right like that get a dark oak plank there come up here put a dark oak stair there put our dark oak stair there

Put a trapdoor there a trap door there and then we’re gonna put dark oak Gates underneath all of these right here just like that and open them all up and there we go the front roof is now done do the same thing on the other side next we’re

Going to follow along this calcite wall with a spruce slab going the whole way around the builds and we’re gonna put a spruce plank on the outside and it should look just like that on each pillar put an oak stair and an oak trap door like this

Next we’re gonna put dark oak signs around this build cover all of these Spruce Logs with dark oak signs just like this that adds a nice looking trim along this bottom area in each corner of the build put Oak slabs just like that above each

Window take an oak stair and put it like that and like that then take Oak slabs and put them there and there and then take Oak trap doors and put them just like that then on the sides with the roof put an oak stair there a slab there and

A slab there with an oak trapdoor there and there and in the middle here put an oak stair there there and a slab there with the trapdoor there and there when it’s done it should look something like that on each Corner we’re going to make a little overhang by doing something like that

So three Oak planks by three Oak planks just like that and we’re gonna do that on each one of these corners you can also put some calcite right here to block that in find the center of the build with the oak slab and then run upside down Oak

Stairs the whole way over until it meets that right there and then we’re gonna do the same thing over here except we don’t have to find the center and then over here we go in the opposite direction do that on the other side of the build

As well and now the roof shape is coming together now put Cherry Planks on each one of these Oak stairs on each Corner put two Cherry slabs on each side and a cherry plank at the corner on each Corner put two dark oak slabs there a dark oak slab there a dark

Oak slab there and then a dark oak slab like that and two more right there so it looks like that then we’re gonna take two dark oak fence gates and put them there and then put a dark oak trapdoor on the corner once you have all Corners done

Come along and connect them with dark oak slabs at this level then put open dark oak fence gates underneath each one of those slabs you can also put an oak trapdoor like that underneath Each corner the build should be looking like this now in each Corner put four Cherry planks and one

Cherry slab like that next take a cherry slab To Each corner like this and run it across and connect it to the other corner and then over here run it over here and connect it to the roof next take your cherry Plank and run it the whole way around And you should end up with it looking like this next take a temporary block place it right there and put a cherry stair on the top and then we’re just going to run a cherry stair the whole way around this Square then we’ll place a spruce plank the

Whole way around the edge right here like this up and there we go the bottom section of this Japanese Temple is now done the first step to the top part is going to be marking out where our pillars are going to go so we’re going to put a barrel in the corner

Go one two three four one two three four five six one two three and something like that and then we’re gonna do that to all the sides you should end up with something like that then Place one stripped Spruce log on top of each Barrel and place a barrel on top of each

Stripped log then put two stripped Spruce logs on top of each Barrel so you should end up with something that looks right like this now we’re gonna come in here and place a calcite wall going the whole way around the build bring that up to match the pillars right

Here and that should be one two three four five blocks tall once you’re done it should look like this now we’re going to connect all of these pillars using Spruce slabs then we’re going to take the spruce planks and go around the same way connecting it all up

And when you’re done it should look right like that next we’re going to make the small window on this side take a spruce stair put it there and there take a spruce slab there go up two blocks with cherry fences put a spruce stair right there in there

Put another Spruce slab there then we’re gonna come up here and put a oak stair there and there and then we’re gonna put an oak slab in the middle then we’ll break out these two blocks and put a cherry trap door on both of those so you end up with something like that

Then we’ll do the same window design on this side and the same on all four sides two windows on each side now we’re going to build the bitter window put an oak stair there and there then put a spruce stair there and there put a spruce slab there and there and a

Spruce trap door right in the middle then we’re gonna come up here and place an upside down Spruce stair there and on the other side and then we’re going to put a spruce slab there and right up at the top like that then put two Cherry

Fences on each side we’re gonna break a three by three hole in the middle go through that put nine Cherry trap doors in the window like that come back out and put three Cherry fences in the middle and there we go that window is now done and like the other windows we’re gonna

Put one in the middle on each side next we’re gonna do the trim underneath this roof starting with an oak stair an oak trap door there another one right there just going along like this foreign And then we’re gonna copy that on each one of the sides And we’re left with something that looks like that now we’re going to start on the roof doing the exact same thing that we did on the bottom on each Corner putting three Oak planks in either direction and put an oak trap door underneath Each corner like that

And then we’re gonna do the same on each Corner then we’re gonna find the middle of the builds and put a oak slab there and then run Oak stairs along to it meets that and we’ll do the same on this side facing this direction and we’re going to

Do that on all four sides and we should be left with something looking like that and coming in each Corner we’re going to put a cherry Plank and two Cherry slabs on each side and then run Cherry planks the whole way across on top of these stairs foreign

And we should be ending up with something like that now we’re going to do the corner just like we did down there taking to a dark oak slabs there put one right there one right there and then come to the top like that two more there we’re gonna put two dark

Oak fence gates right like that and then on the top we’re gonna put a dark oak trapdoor and we’re going to repeat that on all four sides foreign T this using dark oak slabs the whole way across and then we’re gonna put open dark oak fence gates underneath

And repeat that on all four sides now the roof line is all finished put four Cherry planks in each corner with a slab on top like that then fill in the side with cherry slabs going across like that on all four sides and in each Corner Place a cherry slab there and there

Then place an oak plank like that and Cherry slabs going across like this for the very top layer of this roof foreign and you should have something that ends up looking just like this now we’re going to start on the peak of the roof putting a cherry plank there temporary

Block another Plank and we’re going to do this seven times until you have something that looks like that then we’re gonna do the same thing on this side and it should connect like that in the middle and then we’re going to do this on all four sides

And we end up with something like that next we’re going to put an oak stair underneath each one of these going up and then an oak plank at the top like that repeating this on all four sides now we’re going to do the dark oak trim

Starting with a dark oak plank there and a dark oak stair on each one of the Cherry planks like this and then at the top we’re going to do a dark oak slab like that and then we repeat the same on this side then we’re going to put a dark oak fence

Gates underneath each one like that foreign and at the top we’re going to do that and put a dark oak trapdoor there put a dark oak stair there one there and one like that for the top Finishing Touch and we’re going to repeat this on all four sides Thank you And we should be ending up with something that looks like that next we’re going to fill the walls with calcite going up to the Oak stair like that we should be left with something like that where each Cherry plank is still showing and we’re going to do that for all the sides

And then you can see all the outside walls are all now covered now we’re gonna fill in this roof starting off with connecting the top Peaks across like this to make four quadrants and we’re just gonna come down here and connect each one of those like this

And we’re gonna do that on all four sides and there we go the Cherry section of the roof is now completed now on the top of the roof place a dark oak plank in the middle and then put dark oak stairs coming out to meet it like this on all four sides

And now the last thing to do here is to make a window here on the top just take out those five blocks in a little bit of an X shape put four fences like that come inside and put five Cherry trap doors in here like this then back outside we’re going

To put four Cherry fence gates like that with each one of them open like that and there we go just copy that to all four sides now the structure is now done but I’m going to show you how to add a little bit more detail here we’re gonna

Put a hopper underneath and put two chains coming down with a pearlescent Frog Light and four pink banners if you wanted to make your own Banner designs for that you can and then up here we’re gonna do the exact same thing but just do one chain before we do the

Pearlescent lights and more pink banners then we’re going to do that on all four corners then to add a little bit more detail in the front you can take some pots and put them on the stairs like this and put some cherry saplings in there just to brighten it up a bit
