Hey everybody whip here and welcome on back to Minecraft today we are doing yet another time-lapse and this time-lapse is going to be building up this amazing little hobbit village here I had so much fun building a hobbit hole on the source block SMP server that I just wanted to Explore the idea so much more and it seemed like a lot of you all were very hyped about our Hobbit village our hobbit hole that we’re building so I figured you all would enjoy this here as well so quickly terraforming the landscape up here basically filling in a Lot of those smaller water pockets throughout the plains of um that we all love so much inside of these I don’t really know why they’re there and the lava ones as well what the heck are they doing but anyways we’re gonna be doing that and then we’re focusing down on This small area in here where I just wanted to add a bunch of life and add a bunch of things and for this time-lapse I wanted to slow it down a lot so you all could follow along with what I’m doing as you can see we’re building up Our first hobbit hole here due to this being on the replay mod time-lapse I find it a little difficult to showcase interior it’s very well on those as I’m sure many of you agree as when we tried to doing the interior ones who were just me doing the exterior of these builds if You all want to see the interior of these Hobbit homes or see how I would do them let me know and maybe we can do a part two of this because this world here is something that I want to start and continue moving forward as my creative Time-lapse world as I want to start exploring things like we did the Mesa village last week and a few other things that are going on here I want to start including those all in the same world and providing a world download with you all so there will be a download in the Description down below that you all can grab and check this out for yourself I will try to remember to include the coordinates down there for this build so you can have that and you know actually find the build pretty easily because it’s not quite right at spawn this is a Brand new seed that I have never worked on before we’re just gonna be building as we go whatever I kind of want to do will jump around to the cool biome that would fit for whatever build were going with there but if you all think that’s a Cool idea and excited for that one be sure to hit that like button I know I said it but anyways moving to this hobbit hole area that we’re working on here I wanted to bring in quite a few different designs the first one who we used there was just the oak and the Which we’ve used over on source block because I thought it was a good safe base to start with for getting the idea back in my brain of how to build these things and then coming over here I tried mixing it up and using some white terracotta because I think if we’re Going for like a Lord of the Rings inspired Hobbit environment there are always very colourful homes so for a lot of the area that is sticking out and not under ground basically the front of the houses and any windows they have jutting out I like to make those pretty colorful So they really stand out in this case we’re using the white one in there and as you can see we’re adding in this tiny little window of just a secondary room off to the side that’s a great way to add a lot of depth in life into your hobbit bills that you’re doing It’s just poke out windows throughout the entire area and maybe have a second backdoor exit or something like that not everybody is just gonna have that one face and then everything disappeared behind it it kind of makes sense to have a lot of life back in there and have a Lot of more structure to it than just a front hill and then nothing else if you remember back on source block we had it in quite a few windows in quite a few different ways to get in and out of our hobbit hole which was a good idea I Think of the long run it helped us out here a lot one thing now that I absolutely love to do on top of Hobbit Hill says add a bunch of life as you probably see by all the flowers and dark oak leaves and everything around here And beyond that I like throwing in trees as well I think trees are a great thing to add on top of the hobbit holes because it really adds a lot of a sense of structure to the hobbit hole itself giving it basically that it’s able to Support all of this land mass above it with all of this vegetation and then we can also support an entire tree up there with the roots and everything going all the way into the ground around the structure of the hobbit hole I think is A cool way to add a lot of life into this build and bring a lot of cool extra colors into here hobbits is something that I actually started my channel with the very first series on here as you all probably saw in the video that we did Last week about going full-time I had actually talked a little bit or showcased a little bit of footage from one of the original Hobbit builds I did so hobbits for me is something that I love doing I just haven’t done it for a very long time so if y’all think we Should continue pursuing this one be sure to let me know that for sure but we have two houses built up so far and I felt like that wasn’t really too much a village so I wanted to take an ode back to Lord of the because that’s kind of the easiest Hobbit source of inspiration because I feel like that’s probably the main place everybody recognizes I’m from but if you see those clips inside of the movie especially the new Hobbit ones where Bilbo Baggins is running away and he’s like I’m going on an adventure when he’s running down those pathways they have All these huge hedges along the side of the pathways and the pathways are kind of sunk down in the ground so I tried to embody that with how the paths are going throughout here with all of these leaves bordering the fields in these different crop areas and I want to make it really Feel like the hobbits were living in the middle of their fields so you can see the wheat field and the carrot patch all the way over there just to get that extra sense of detail around here then coming down into the middle we’re creating an entire Hill here in from Scratch not everything has to be a pre generated minecraft hill we can add our own ones in and this one I thought would be kind of cool because it’s right here in the center and it could have the ability for people to be walking over The top of it if need be but we are going to be covering it with a bunch of vegetation as we normally are doing throughout here adding in a back window as well so they can get a little bit more of that late or early morning Sun Coming in – maybe that’s their bedroom or something and I think it’s really cool then deep dark underneath the hills they would have the ability to have these good cold storage rooms and pantries like all good hobbits like to have a bunch of food it would be very Easy to store all of that stuff inside then just kind of adding in more life they’re out here building up that hedge while along where our pathways gonna be stretching to the right another screen right there and then bringing in a lot more of that life on top covering this Thing absolutely everywhere and our dark oak leaves peonies and then we have the Allium plant which i retexture to be that kind of heather type lavender almost plant down there and then I also really wanted to add in the new blue cornflower and there I felt like that Was a good way to do it and then a good way to note that these are hobbit holes if you’re kind of not looking at the front entrance is adding chimney sticking out of the ground it’s a really easy way to add a lot of depth into These builds without too much effort you kind of know instantly that it’s it’s a house and this is where the heat source is coming from and everything like that then we have a little tulip field over here and adding in a small well area into the middle so of course they have Some water for the center of everything right there I thought it was really cool just being able to add in all this life that’s kind of the only wooden structure outside of the front walls of everything for the hobbit holes there’s not too much going on here I’m kind of prepping the land Down there for adding in some future things and I figured with Minecraft 1.15 being the bees and bugs update we had to come over here very quickly and add in one of our little beekeeping areas which I thought was so perfect I love these things that we were able to come up with A while ago apparently people are saying I was the first person do anything in relation to like here’s the design on how to make a beekeeping area so I will take that credit where I can but we added in some log piles and some barrels and just things a barrels to store the Honey log piles if they needed to get some smoke or something like that to be able to calm the bees they can kind of work with them a little bit better there so I figured some wood around that area helped add kind of that more livability of the whoever’s working in the Beekeeping area the apiary I don’t know what it would really be called but they have the ability to kind of do their job without having to walk somewhere or import something or bring something over they can do it all well there they’re then bringing in another hobbit hole in Here I just again covering up the hill with everything on this I tried making the front of this one a yellow terracotta just because I wanted to add additional colors in here as I mentioned before and then just absolutely covering the top of this with no rhyme or reason We are just throwing a bunch of flowers all over the place bringing in large ferns and then just bone Mealing the heck out of the area and any other flowers that manage to spawn through the bone Mealing we’re keeping them in there because again it just adds more color Then down here I wanted to add a small market stall just so we can have something going on in here somebody is selling some goods here in the center of the village and just bringing in some yellow and some white to make it very very bright and very very fantastic and We are moving into the last hobbit hole of the day I know I will probably keep saying Hobbit though but this one I wanted to make it a lot larger and grander so it had this whole big hill behind it because I feel like we need to Have some sort of like a mayor or some sort so I tried to make this one a little bit more grand and flushed out and kind of a more substantial along here mostly bringing in that little spruce line right there along the front that itself actually makes us feel so Much more substantial than just being inside of a hill it makes it really feel set in the environment and I thought that was kind of a cool transition that we could have in here is having this area it’s kind of up the pathway off of the beaten road away from Everything and it’s kind of this big old fancy one up there I thought it was a really cool way of doing it we’re gonna come back in here later and add a few trees and decorate this area out even more but that’s kind of the General idea of what we have so far just adding in yet another chimney to the top of this one I think it was a pretty good way to do and I wanted to detail out these front little sitting areas so it really looked like people lived here if We just left those open it would feel quite empty in here then bring in one of those birch trees that I was talking about I swear you can make these things look good we’re mixing in the acacia lead as well as the birch leaf on the Top just to add some extra texture to it and I absolutely love the combination I think it works so freakin well so hopefully you guys like these custom trees and everything like that any ideas that you have for tutorials or anything of the sort be sure to let me know a lot Of people have been asking me to do something elven for the next one so maybe the time lapse that we do next week will be an elven one but if you all have ideas on other things you want to see maybe like a steampunk thing or Something like that let me know down in the comments below I also really wanted to try doing like an orcish or a goblin Cave of sorts I feel like that could be super cool just a total contrast of what we have here maybe we’ll just end up Hitting up every single race inside a Lord of the Rings at some point throughout this you know just because apparently that’s what we’re doing here then coming over to this area I did bring in a little bit of worldedit here to help speed this up so I wasn’t just Flying back and forth planting all these things going absolutely crazy trying to plant all this stuff we go through enough diamond hoes in our survival world that we don’t need to be doing this in the creative videos I just wanted to plant in a bunch of wheat Seeds in there so we could get a cool area then over onto this side kind near that grand house that we were talking about earlier I want to bring in a bit of a pigsty like a Pigpen so we can have some animals we can have some movement Around here because I am NOT adding in villagers to anything I’m doing they are too dang annoying that I just never want to work with them unless it’s for a certain tree source inside of a survival world and then they are living in a small box I swear I’m a nice person but coming through here I want to add in everything like this adding in a few fences dipping around the sides and using the leaves as a way of blocking anything from getting out and of course I managed to write as We do this putting in the pigs one of them ran right so I missed quite a few spots but it’s fixed now then boarding out these last fields over here we’re ending in that larger wheat field just extended that one out a bit further and then coming Down here I thought it’d be cool to add in a carrot field as a way of breeding up all of our piggies so that’s kind of it for the entire build here hopefully you all enjoyed this one I had so much fun working on this it was a nice Challenge coming in here and visiting a style and just enjoying building again I had so much fun with this one so I hope you all enjoyed this please be sure to hit that like button down below if you have not already let me know in the Comments below what you all want to be seeing moving forwards for time lapse videos or any other types of stuff going on from here but i’ma leave y’all here with a little bit of eye candy hit that subscribe button if you’re new and I’ll catch y’all on the flipside Video Information
