How to Build the Dream SMP (Part 1)

Hello everybody and welcome to my channel in this brand new series i will be showing you guys how to build the entire dream smp from the actual seed so yes that is a disclaimer you will need to have the seed but that should not be a problem because i have converted it

Into bedrock and if you’re on java you can just get it in a preview version preview 20 20 w 17 a and then get the seed from one of my previous video descriptions or get the download for the bedrock link i’ll link those videos on how to get the seat in the description

So i don’t spend too much time talking about that but yes everything you see around me is what we planned to build so yes it is going to be a kind of crazy series um but if you are a big fan of the dream smp

So yeah and then join the discord if you have any questions i can answer it there so thank you guys so much and let’s hop straight in to part one of the tutorial all right everybody i am in the exact same spot but this time i am on the actual seat

So you can quickly look around here’s where i am the coordinates for the base are 250 by negative 250. you should spawn in a spruce forest over there once you have the seed come on over here and i’ve laid out some paths don’t worry about that i’ll show you how to do that

So yeah here’s the seed and the lake house goes right here in the middle which is what we will be doing in part one so i’ve laid out some markers just so i know where exactly where i am so the first one is over here also during the tutorial i’ll constantly be

Giving you coordinates to help to help me out with the tutorial and hopefully help you out to make sure your world is as accurate as possible so over here is the first coordinate now this i’ll try and give you some reference pictures this goes up to the nether portal which

Is up actually at this lava lake right here makes sense so this path right here the first birch block you’re going to be placing is at 221 by negative 241 right here right and then you can see the path sort of comes out like this so you place those for birch spruce oak

Spruce birch just like that and this will extend way down into the lake so there’s your first marker the second marker is over here and this path looks a little different because of the renovated house and this is all supposed to be up to date so that’s why everything looks kind of

Like this this chiseled block right here is at 248 negative 240 or 271 sorry and you can see this is all built like that so then we come on to the opposite side and the oak in the middle should line up with the open there and

So here’s what you need to build you could probably see from the train but just in case the center oak block right here get up here is at 250 negative 198. it’s just like that and then we can actually destroy that block make it oak and then put grass right there

Okay now disclaimer if your trees don’t look exactly like this like if you’re on the bedrock download the trees will be in different spots but don’t even worry about it it’s not that big a deal because pretty much all these trees get destroyed no matter what and overall it still

Gives the same illusion and the grass and stuff will be the same so it’s not that big a deal so yeah don’t be concerned about that all right so let’s start let’s start building so first thing we’re going to do we’re going to take the oak from any of the

Three sides i showed you and we’re going to extend it really far out and then connect it with this other oak just like so and i’ll give you the coordinate for the exact middle extend it just like this and then let’s also bring this side over and then the center house is a

19 by 19 base okay once you’ve connected everything your center coordinate right here should be at 250 negative 243. okay so we’re gonna come from this side over here and get your birch out and from this middle coordinate go to the left and right and count out nine

One two three four five six seven eight and on the ninth block you’re gonna wanna place a birch out like this do this on the other side which i’ve already done and then from this way over here one two three four five six seven eight nine and you put that either side and

Then connect these to make a box which will be the foundation of the entire house just like so there and then with oak over here we can count out one two three four five six seven eight nine and put birch on either side and finish up our box

Just like this and the center of this entire birch box will be filled with crafting tables which is kind of weird but that’s just what it looks like set crafting table so if you need to pause fill it with crafting tables you can go ahead and do that right now

Okay so we’re going to start by building this path over here where the two chiseled blocks were so we can grab out our spruce and take the spruce all the way down like that and on this side all the way down okay perfect now we’re going to get our grass

And we’re going to fill in connecting nick there and one more right there just two rows just like that and i’m not going to worry about the force that’ll come in the next part so now get your chiseled out and skip one two three four five

Place them on the sixth one and do that again one two three four five on the sixth one one two three four five and on the sixth one and it should perfectly line up just like that do this on the other side as well just like this all right now i’m gonna place

Some temporary blocks and for my temporary blocks for this entire world i’ll be using diamond blocks because it’s easy to count out and i know for a fact that there are no diamond blocks anywhere in this world so temporarily we can place diamond blocks in between all of these but don’t worry

We will get rid of them and then we need to get out some birch gates and um let’s see stone brick walls put stone brick walls on top of all of the chiseled blocks like this and then get out the birch gates and put birch gates

In between all of these just like this so we can now get water out and get rid of all of this and put water back so that it fills in properly now i if you want the world to be as accurate as possible i will show you how to break out certain

Blocks for details and stuff but if you don’t want it to be all messed up you know more like a survival world and more of just like a a clean version then you can keep it like this but now to show you what what the world actually looks like we

Can come over here and break out these four over here we can break out both of these walls and all of the gates between this break out this gate break out this gate open this one backwards break out this one and that is what the world actually looks like which i know is

Very messy and that’ll be consistent throughout the entire world i’ll show you what it’s supposed to look like and then i’ll show you what it actually looks like in the world which is usually just a big mess okay the next step we’re gonna come over to this side which has the nether

Portal on it open up your coordinates and right here on this block two two three negative two four three which should be right next to this grass block this is going to have the gate on it so on either side we’re going to put two oak next to it on either side

And then next to it on the ground we’re gonna go up one two three one two three on either side and then we can go diagonal one up two diagonal one up two and then connect it across to make this shape right here and that is your doorway now i need to

Get out some oak fences and some oak gates put a gate right there fences on either side and then fence is sort of wrapping around this entire thing until you’re left with just a doorway just big enough to fit through there we go last thing we can do get a

Pressure plate and put a pressure plate on this side right here now the open birch we’re going to drag this all the way down until it connects with the house like this and on the other side okay perfect so there we go that’s what this looks like and then right here we

Can adjust it so that these three are oak and then a spruce right there because that’s sort of what the pattern even though i don’t think you’re going to be able to see that anymore because that has changed now over here we’re going to go ahead and build the wheat farm

Right here so to give myself a point of reference get a spruce pressure plate and put it right there in the corner of the house so then we’re gonna make this little this little l shape like that just an l shape right there and we’re gonna do this a total of

Five times so that’s one two three four actually four times sorry i’m sorry yeah so when you look over here you have one two three four diagonals and then this one right here we are going to put a torch on it because that is the corner of the wheat farm

Just like that now the wheat farm is a 16 by 18. so on this torch this counts as 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16. and then 18 backwards this is one two three four five six seven eight nine ten

Eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen sixteen seventeen eighteen so this back corner right here should be on two two two negative two one three which is correct okay and then we can connect it all the way across link it up with our torch there we go and then we need to create a

Border of spruce spruce planks just like that oh well i just filled it but that’s okay just you have to make a trim around it and then fill the entire center here with dirt just like that now in the exact middle of this it should be it should

Fit out to become a two by two since it was an uneven center so let’s see right there yep so it should be one two three four five from either edge and one two three four five six from either edge now we’re gonna get our dirt out

And when you’re looking at it right here where it has that one sand block right there build a tower up like that and then put it around there you can fill the center with water once you get slabs out cobblestone slabs floating right here in that spot torches all around it

You can also put torches in the corners just like so and then we need to get a composter out and on the fourth spruce here one two three four put a compost right there now i can actually change all of this dirt into farmland replace dirt uh let’s see farm land

Looks like that and it should become it should become all like that it spreads out from there and the water on the outside affects it so then if we get some seed we fill the entire thing with seeds just like so i can leave you to do that but one thing to note

Carrots this entire row on the far right side is all carrots and then we need melons melon seeds and there is one two three four five six seven things of melon seeds right there and then the rest of this is all weed seeds okay perfect

So it should look just like that and we will go ahead and let that grow so now we’re going to start actually building the house and don’t worry we’ll get to that path in a second so we’re going to build this face which is off of the nether portal right here

And on this far side we’re going to place one chisel stone brick two stone bricks and then another chiseled stone brick in line with the birch do that again in line with the other birds do that again and then we’re not gonna do it over there because they have the doorway right there

Okay so now we’re gonna get the stone bricks and connect all of this across three and then not over here and on top of this we’re going to place one two three four five six seven eight eight more right there and then we’re gonna place another eight starting from here over one

Two three four five six seven eight and this should just hang up in midair over this now we’re gonna get our bricks and we’re gonna create a window right here so we’re gonna go one two three four five and then bring it up to connecting that

And then sort of make a barrier around that for a window we can fill this with glass panes and then you’re gonna place two more stone bricks down like that and then two more bricks right there so that area should look just like that it’s a little confusing i know so then

We can fill in this middle like that we’ll get to the doorway in a second over here we’re going to place one two three four five bricks get regular glass five on top of that and five more bricks right there and then this row is broken out for some reason

Okay so now we can continue up here we can go one two three more bricks and then they chiseled right there so get your regular bricks out and go one two three four five six seven eight skip this one one two three four five six seven eight nine

And then right here we’re going to place one two glass planes like that and then wrap the brick around it fill in the entire middle here with glass and then bricks and then over here glass all the way to the edge and more bricks so it should look like this

It’s kind of random and that’s because the dream started remodeling this wall but he never finished which is why it’s so unsymmetrical i guess so get your chiseled stone bricks and put one on the top here and then we have those two pillars put two more on either side just like that

Now we’re going to get some of our spruce out and make this doorway so on either side put a stair like that upside down stair and then you can use slabs or birch blocks or spruce block doesn’t matter and upside down spurs right there a slab

Up there a slab at the top of this one and then put a random fence right there and then two fences on those blocks there’ll be a lantern on top of that slab and a lantern hanging off those fences last detail we need we need to get a

Trap door and we need to put trapdoors on either side like that facing towards the house and that is it then we need two more on either side of that last last two things we need we need to get out some stone brick slabs and iron

Bars iron bars on top of all of these and then slabs in between all of it and that makes the first wall of the house so now let’s come over here and let’s finish this path over here so we need to get our spruce and birch back so we can put spruce on

Either side of this and birch okay now that we’ve filled that all the way across we come over here and fix this area again like we did over there now let’s start building this wall so we’re going to get my materials back that i had to get rid of okay

So on this corner right here we’re going to place another chisel two more regular and then another chisel and then one two three four and then i chiseled again so that just makes that pillar in the corner and then you’re going to get the brick back which is the last thing i needed

And then right across actually start from the bottom it’ll be less confusing let’s go one two three four five six like that and six with the glass block and then six with that over here we’re gonna do the same thing except not cover the doorway so we’re gonna put four

One two three four oh no sorry there’s a five yeah that’s five sorry and then more brick on top of that and then you can actually connect it to that one right there now we’re gonna do two solid rows of stone bricks like this except leave that one chiseled

Right there in the corner oops perfect and then we can get this this little pattern of brick glass and then brick take that all the way over to this pillar just like so so it looks like dream never even got to this side when he was remodeling the house

And it still looks like that to this day now we’re gonna get the chiseled on the top here and in line with the birch we’re gonna put it right there sort of like it is over there put our iron bars on top of all of that and then the slabs connecting it

Perfect okay so more details we need we need to put two spruce stairs right there get spruce stair blocks and put two on top of either of that and then we actually need to get birch stairs out and then let’s get out some torches we’re gonna put spruce stairs like that

Upside down stairs like that and then bricks actually filling in those corner spots and last thing we need to get a spruce slab and put a slab on top of there so every doorway is like kind of random in a way so we can put torches on the brick spots right there

Put a torch right there and there’s these two extra blocks hanging out if you want to add that that’s where it comes and goes and then another another the torch one two three four five on the sixth block out right there so there we go and then let’s get out

Our trap door again and we can put two trapdoors on this corner just like that and that concludes this entire wall okay this wall right here where we have this one oak block we can bring it out just a few blocks for now but we will

Extend it to its proper length in a second just like this with the pattern fix this area like we’ve been doing and let’s build this wall so let me get my materials back as they keep going away and then we’re going to build wait i need the summer

So in line with this pillar again we’re gonna do the one one two and then one again like we’ve been doing same thing and then we’re going to get stone bricks and connect it to the chiseled area and then over here we’re going to build the same column that’s over there so the

Chisel two stone brick chiseled one two three four bricks and then a chisel right there okay and then we can connect this side again this looks like that we’re gonna get the bricks create a row along the bottom on either side on this side the left side we’re gonna

Take glass all the way across and then bricks however on this side put it up on either side and then we actually need the panes back like this and you can fill this spot with panes perfect and then we can actually get our trap doors and put them in the corner

There while i still have them okay so the doorway we’re gonna do this now we’re gonna put two just like that and then i actually need my stairs back put it upside down stir there two stairs like that and two more upside down just like that

And that is what that door looks like and while i’m here you can go three out from there and there’s a torch right there okay the top here super simple we just need one more layer of stone bricks it’s like we’re building a cake or something i don’t know all the layers

And then a full row of bricks a full row of glass and then another full row of bricks super easy nothing complicated about this side at all and then we just add the details we’ve been adding on the top every time oops okay so right in line with those

Are chiseled again fill in the middle with slabs and then put iron bars on top of it time for this side the this side is probably the craziest out of all of them okay so what we’re going to want to do we’re going to get my bricks back out

And let’s let’s do the let’s make it symmetrical at first and then we’ll break away the bits that we don’t need so put chisel on either side there chew up are chiseled again it’s the same same pattern that we’ve been doing nothing crazy about this across here and then we’re going to do

Our second row going across so that’s that’s the normal part and let’s do let’s do these panels down here so sort of like we did right there we’re gonna loop it around except for the top and on this side like this and then fill in the middle with glass panes like this Um let’s not bother building the doorway there’s no need and then down here on the floor we’re gonna replace that with spruce and then put two more crafting tables out here just like that okay so now let’s finish these pillars go one two three up and then a chiseled

One two three up and then a chisel and sort of like we did right there we’re gonna knock these three out and then build a little surrounding for a window right here and then we need to get the bricks back out and then build a layer of bricks

On the top and bottom and then on either side fill the middle with glass panes and then we do that on this side as well so this is the side that dream actually remodeled on stream which is why it’s probably like the most finished so now we can get our slabs connect

Everything on the top here with slabs get our iron bars real quick plop those in place now we’re not even gonna bother building this door right here because none of it is left but uh we’re gonna get two trapdoors and put it right there and let me get some supplies back need

The slabs need the fences need the lanterns okay so just slab in the middle there so it’s like the top of the doorway up here we’re gonna do the same thing like that and then put two fences on either side and a lantern in the middle on top of

These ones we’re gonna put four and two trap doors on both of these actually all four of them even the ones down here on the brake layer oops okay and then we already have the ones on the corners there so let’s get out regular oak trap doors and then let’s get out some

Leaves we need oak leaves okay right here we’re gonna put two oak leaves and then we’re gonna put trap doors facing up like that and on this window and our two leaves i’m gonna put one two three four leaves and then put two trapdoors like this on either side of this

And then four leaves like that looking good and then we need to get the spruce trap doors and put three doors on the bottom of these both of them okie dokie and then put on the bottom of these and on the sides for these ones but they’re not on the

Sides of the bottom ones okay perfect and then next thing we need we need to get some spruce signs out like this there’s a spruce sign up they’re all above the chisel blocks so right there right there right there and right there there’s only signs on this side there’s

No signs on any other part of the building so let’s see anything i’m missing on this side no okay in the most recent stream these things were flipped up but they get flipped up and down all the time um and then this one is missing and i think this one is missing

But we’ll fix that on the inside so pretty much that entire doorway is just gone so yeah that is the outside walls finally done so next let’s build the sheep pin out here and then let’s hopefully try and get the entire interior done trying to go for a big one today how

Long probably go a little long today so let’s get the birch out here and then we’re going to extend this a certain amount and you see where you should have this in your seed where this part pokes out right here i’ll get rid of this just in case

But you have this poking out right here and if you place a block right there i’ll show you the coordinates for that 276 negative 236 that is actually the first corner of the animal pin and this is a 15 by 15 so this can be one

Two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve fourteen four fifteen and let’s just connect this all the way up around here and it connects to this path perfectly so right there and then if you haven’t

Gotten rid of this this lines up this kind of touches the sand we can actually get rid of that sand and the entire layer underneath it just like that okay so now what we need to do we need to get the spruce go down the path like it is normally but

Then continue wrapping it around the entire outside just like so perfect and then everything in the middle here gets filled in with oak next up we’re going to get some dirt and create a four by four in this corner one two three four two three four just like

This because this used to be the sheep pen but then all the animals ate the grass and they just never fixed it okay uh there is a crafting table in line with this birch in the floor right there and a torch right in front of it i have a crafting table down there

And a double chest sitting right there we’re gonna get oak fences and just wrap this all the way around and we’ll break out some spots for gates in a second but wrap this around on the spruce layer and then on we’re going to place in some of our gates

The gate’s going literally in the middle in every single spot so the middle is right here and right here perfect now we’re going to get some sprut or some oak fence sorry and on either side of this we’re gonna go one two three four five two three four five it just create

It’s symmetrical all the way around just like this and it should wrap around perfectly around that dirt we made just like that okay so the gates that we need um when you’re looking at it from the front on the far left and right side we’re gonna put a gate there and there

And there and there and then when you’re facing this direction the house to my left they go on like the inner sides like this it’s just like that that’s where the gates go now there’s a creeper explosion in the middle here so there’s some wool so we’re gonna knock out these three

Right here three behind it and the middle one right there just looks like that and then this all gets filled in with yellow wool perfect now we’re gonna get our jungle fences and put jungle fences surrounding this entire thing and where the gates are on the middles

You just go up like that and create an archway around it and then just keep going around and do this on every single side the last thing we can do is put another torch on the back side right there and that is the entire animal pin

100 done so yeah there we go we have pretty much the outside looking good already the outside of the house we have the the wheat farm which is almost grown and um next thing i’m going to attempt to try and get most of the interior done i’m

Trying to go for a little bit of a longer video okay just as a disclaimer this interior is really crazy but i’m going to do my best to explain everything to you so when you’re looking through this window and you have that the animal pin over there we’re going to place the chest

In the corner facing that way a torch above it two more chests right there a torch right there and then we’re going to have a 2×2 of cobblestone one block away from the wall just like this item frames on all of it in the top corner here we’re gonna have a magenta

An egg next to it gold nugget and a rose right there i actually don’t know what this is for but it’s there so next thing we’re gonna add we are going to add our entire ceiling which will probably be useful so it’s on the fourth block up we’re just

Going to fill the entire thing in with birch set birch oh i spilled birch wrong okay perfect so now we can get our chains and put a chain right there against the wall just like that so now let’s turn over to this side right here and then there’s actually a few more

Blocks we need to break out we need to break out let’s see we need to break out this block this block that one that one and that one i have no idea why okay to build a little storage system over here oh wait sorry i realized we need to also

Break out this glass so only half the glass is filled in right there okay so right here we’re gonna place the chest right there we’re gonna place a double chest right there another double chest another double chest another double chest and then on top of this one another double chest

Skip one one right there i actually forgot we need one right there and there so make sort of that that weird shape like that now some torches one block away from this we’re gonna put a torch and then above these two double chests we’re gonna put torches

And then item frames go here here here on both of those oops both of those one there and two right there and the item frames you’re going to put one here and then you’re going to turn it one two three three times and then in the bottom

One here there’s actually dirt i didn’t have dirt dirt and that doesn’t get rotated at all right up in that one and then blue dye tilted once and that one so yes you know kind of kind of crazy okay over here where you have the wheat farm

We’re gonna put two doors there and there so it sort of opens up in the diagonal way like that we’re gonna have a torch up there a torch right there another chain right there and then we need to put another torch in the middle of this window right there against the wall

Just like that and there’s there’s no other furniture over here so next thing i want to do i want to get out some oak log and let’s mark the center of this house which is right here right in the middle and then take this up three just like that

And we can break out sort of a barrier around this and put another one up there just like that so then in the corner when you’re facing the wheat farm like we were doing another chain right there diagonal in that corner just sort of hanging there okay

So next let’s get some furnaces we’re gonna need a furnace and we are going to need some smokers come over here one block away from all of this put two smokers stacked up each other and then a 2×3 of furnaces just like that and there’s no other torches over

Here when you’re looking at this column we want to put an inner chest right there like that want to put a slab on top of it which allows you to still open it a oak block next to it a slab right there so then it kind of creates this spiral

Staircase so we want to put one um right let’s see it needs to be right there and then up one like that and then one right here and this actually turns into a full block with a torch on it and then under this we can put fences just like that right there

And then let’s see we come over at this side and i am sorry actually this spot right here is supposed to be another crafting table because they obviously need more crafting tables and then we can put blocks okay on this side we want to put a crafting table right there and then we

Want to break out one two three four in this shape right here and put birch right there and there’s a hole in the floor right there so don’t fall through that now we can actually break out this one right here get our slabs back and as we’re walking up put one there

And there so it’s just like that okay and then actually that one gets filled in just like that as well so then we want to break out oops let’s not do that we want to break out two more right there and then two right here one back there

One next to it and one right there which is why this looks a little crazy and uh next thing we need to do let’s come up here and let’s start adding in our aquarium oops not in there okay so we want to build a border of birch

So up here we’re going to do a wall walls of birch planks and then we’re going to do two rows of sand coming in walls sand and then do this again it’s just like that and then the rest of it for now let’s go ahead and fill this all in with birch

And then we’ll break out the middle again birch blinks okay perfect just like that and then now last thing we need to do up here is we need to build a three block tall walls all the way around with glass just like that over that birch

Layer or yeah over that last burst there so it looks like this so pause if you need to do that now we can get back here and break this and put our log right there knock out the row around it and then finish up our staircase here knock this

One out and make that a slab so there we go so now with all of this dug out this should look a little bit more normal and i think yeah that looks right okay perfect so now let’s come back up here now that this is all good and we need to

Put torches there and there we’re going to get some cobblestone and facing this side with the wheat farm to my right we’re going to put two blocks of cobblestone like that and then we are going to you need to fill in this entire center with uh water

But before i do that let me there’s glowstone in some of these spots so right here on that birch and then on this side on the sand there is glowstone there and there okay so next we just need to fill this in the entire area in with

Water three blocks tall okay now that this entire thing is full of water we are going to get some bone meal and some sea pickles and for now i’m going to place it sort of random um but in the future i might have it completely up to date and

Accurate and i’ll show you what that looks like but for now in this first part i’m going to just place it like every like five or six blocks or so you can just put some coral in or put some bone meal in sorry so it looks like that

And then randomly add usually one to two sea pickles most the time on the edge like this i’ll just not that many one right there maybe two right there and don’t don’t worry in the future i’ll probably give you more accurate but for now that sort of gets the general effect in right

And um yeah there we go i think that is where i’m gonna leave it off in this first tutorial we got a lot done we did the entire entire house here we got the animal pin in we got the paths we got the wheat farm we got that little gate area
