How to build your FIRST Village in Minecraft 1.15 Survival

Hey everybody and welcome on back to Minecraft today we’re gonna be talking about how to start out your Minecraft world to set yourself up for success to be able to expanded buildable tool villages multiple towns or whatever you want to do inside of your world I feel

Like a lot of people ask me consistently all the time saying hey I want to figure out how to start my minecraft world and create something like what you have in your single-player world how do I do that well friends this is exactly how I did it inside of my world just a

Different style of building so what we’re starting off here first and foremost with is we’re gonna be building up our first starter house this is what we would be living in to get ourselves started so obviously we just use some oak wood we have some spruce wood the

Terrain in this area is absolutely awesome on the seed there is a spruce forest nearby there’s a swamp nearby we are in the middle of a dark oak forest completely surrounded by mountains I will try include the seed down below if you are looking to start a new Minecraft

World this is exactly where we spawned in and it is amazing if I was looking to start a new series I would have definitely started with this seed it is so cool but coming in here now we’re doing the interior on this one we got a

Little bit of a glass pane of the way here I’m sorry replay mod messed up but what I wanted to do in here is that we want to make this house very functional to live in to scale for the first starting point in the game you saw that

We added a bit of storage in there but I purposely did not dig out a basement that would give me a bunch of storage access because as soon as that one’s filled up I want to be expanding into a new area now tackling the second part of

What we really needed to deal with is I needed some food so I brought in a little bit of a water stream coming down here from just adding a small brook sticking out of the side of the hill over there that you can see added some spruce trapdoors has a little bridge to

Get ourselves across here and you can see down below that we’re just adding in a bunch of wheat seeds adding in some acacia leaves which also is nearby here as well so you grab those pretty easily as well and adding in some sugarcane that’s gonna start growing up here this

Gives us our food source and it’s very decorative this is very pretty looking it’s not very much for the functional big block of farmland that we have now that we have our place where we can stay we have a place where we can get our food we obviously need to go mine

So I wanted to bring some TNT in here and create a little bit of a cavern coming downwards and build a mine entrance this also serves as adding some functionality to maybe this is turning into a village or a hamlet of sorts of where people are living here so they

Have their food source in the center and then we also have what may be their they like to do what their village is here for maybe they’re here for mining maybe they’re here for caving so they have that old ancient mine over there which is pretty good then I figured you know

Minecraft survival is all about building and expanding and creating things so I want to come back over to our original building that we had here actually expand it because say we jumped into the nether say we went and raided a village and we found some brewing stands we want

To start making some potions so I wanted the base floor of this little tower that we’re adding in here which previously was where our bedroom was is I wanted to turn it into a bit of a brewing stand laboratory and then bringing our bedroom into that second floor so you can see me

Just creating a bit of a tower structure here that’s just gonna it’s just a 3×3 interior it’s very very small it’s meant to just add on to our house which I thought was a really fun way of just mixing things up here and just adding to something new and just building on top

Of our original house because a lot of people I talk to you or a lot of people ask me like well how do you build all these cool things well it’s a lot of adding and removing as we go it’s never one thing is finally finished after the

First design then coming over to this point here we’re actually jumping and forward back over to our where mine entrance was and I wanted to build up a blacksmith because that kind of goes with that mine entrance and adds another structure into our village sure we could

Pop an anvil on the floor right next to what we were doing inside of our starter house but why why not give ourselves a really cool area that we could come over to anytime we need to do very much like the enchanting stuff with anvils of combining tools together anything like

That we have this new area which has its own cool little workstation and can also serve as a house or maybe somebody who lives inside of the village they have the Smith out here but they very much have a house that they can live in this

Is kind of how we I hope you all are getting it at this point this is how we expand the village this is how we get into those points where we start adding more life into here and just kind of rinse and repeat this around everything that you’re doing now this point we’ve

Got our starter house with a little bit of storage in it we’ve got I mind that we’re probably tearing a bunches of cobblestone and stone and everything out of the floor and we need to now have a bulk storage area otherwise we’re gonna go crazy

So I want to come over here and build up a barn that could also use as a place to store some animals and I wanted to turn this into our storage room I figured we needed one full storage room area that’s still close to our original house

Because we probably still have a lot of goods store back in that house but it would probably be a lot easier to move everything over into here so for the lack of stroller boxes I figured let’s keep them close together I don’t want to go back and forth 3040 times to trade

Things in and out and then that gets us kind of where we’re at here I’m adding some cupola to the top of this say if you did store animals inside there need to be a place for all the animal farts and smells and gases and everything to

Get out of the top otherwise it would just stay up there and this thing would reek so I added in some cupola which basically a fancy way of saying an air vent through the ceiling and then coming inside of here you can see I used to

Bunch of oak trapdoors so some walls and also as the flooring and just stack this thing full of chests and barrels and lanterns to keep ourself lit up and safe in here and I just wanted to have a quick area that’s very functional but also look nice that I could run in to

Get access to anything I need including an enchant nine changing table and ender chest and we’re good to go now after this point we probably gathered a bunch more stuff maybe we killed a bunch of cows on our travels and everything and so we’re able to bring in our enchanting

Set up over here we’ve mined for our diamonds we’ve mined for everything and this is where I like to get a little bit more fantastical and creative in this one is we’re gonna build it inside of a giant custom dark oak tree and our wandering trader here absolutely loves

It so I came through here just did a giant custom dark oak tree on top of this one just spamming leaves all over the place and that root structure and everything that you saw us building here a second ago and the way I like to really make these

Cool and more fantasy aspects is adding some giant mushrooms to them because those spawn inside of our dark oak areas of course so I figured that was a good way and now we’re kind of coming through here and just adding in some final details adding in some more fields and

Adding in more life to this region so there’s more things going on it’s more interesting to look at you could build some custom trees here in the center maybe on top of those water pots that we have to be able to grow the farmland you

Could add a custom tree on top of that and look pretty dang cool and finally I want to come over here to the corner and add in one more house for maybe if you want to add some villagers off into the corner far away from everything else you can have some

Villagers inside this place obviously a minecart so they can’t move anywhere and then you’re gonna be all set and ready to go and we just needed one extra house in here to explain why more people are living in here more things are going on and there we have it friends we now have

SARP there’s a little bit of banging up above roofers are still here it’s a pain in the bum but anyways we got this awesome little village down here a lot of people ask me like hey I build my minecraft survival base but then I don’t know how to expand my world or anything

Like that so that’s kind of what prompted this one we started with our lovely little starter house over here which does have an interior on it and I absolutely love it you come inside we got a crafting table outside if you need something quick while you’re out there

If not you can come in here you got that one we got a bit of storage up here in our rafters so you can even access that chests because these are all stairs up above there a little bit of a dividing wall so you can’t just go right into

Your bedroom from everywhere it actually opens up a little bit more you got our kitchen or cooking station with a few furnaces for ourselves come back on in here and we got this nice little entry area that first originally was our bedroom before we expanded it and added

On this brewing station with a little bit more storage then raised the bedrooms up here I think one thing that’s really important about building in Minecraft is it’s okay to expand and revise things that you have finished especially your first ever starter house you don’t have to always build new

Structures you can come back and expand on it like we added this little tower in here that being said though after we did the tower after we did all the expansion of that place we also needed a place to go do some mining mining is very important in Minecraft instead of just

Having a ladder in the corner that takes you all the way down why not out a staircase that takes it down I swear that’s all the way to bedrock yep very very very far there I was TNT and that’s where we stopped Galu is storage for

Your bulk stuff over here which I think is really important but the big idea behind this is that this place is all about adding different locations to do different things and that’s what turns us into a village for us then after we did all that stuff we built up our a

Little bit of a blacksmith this one doesn’t have an interior on it itself but we got this outside Forge area you could put a villager in here if you like to have people living with you inside your place but we got a little bit of a workstation and some more storage over

Here you got your anvil this we kind of where you’re in combining all your enchanted goods and all that stuff but this one here adds another structure to our building which is very very important as we’re trying to expand and create these villages and towns and everything you eventually are gonna have

Duplicates of structures so you might have one Smith in this city another Smith in the next city and just have the general things that are needed to survive in your Minecraft world in every single place that you’re checking out also and then over here I figured we

Need at a fantastical area for our enchanting set up which was so fun to come here and build this giant dark oak tree have an enchanting setup in the middle here I hope that’s enough bookshelves I think it is will we’ll never know that’s gonna be it maybe we

Can fill those in right there too then after that of course you know we need some storage we are getting a bunch of resources at this point in time we need a awesome storage area instead of just digging into the side of a hill or digging it underground or something like

That why not create a barn you could also add some animal storage in here add some animal pens around the sides but I figured this is probably enough storage that could get you going for a very very long time and we got access to an enderchest in here so there’s not really

Much else that you need and it’s kind of a cool one I like using the trapdoors as a floor or a ceiling inside of a barn because I think it gives a cool way to see you up and down pretty easily here you could flip that and open that chest

If you knew you need something from that one and lastly but not least we add another little house over on to the side similar to our starter house itself this is just a generic house nothing really is in here at this point but you could add some villagers in there you could

Expand it maybe you’re playing on a server a lot of one of your friends to jump in there and live inside that place I think it’s absolutely awesome I hope you all enjoyed this one if you are considering starting your own minecraft forever world or one where you’re just
