description down below we have a link to This this is The Skindex where you can search a ton of different skins let’s go ahead and search for a night skin because I don’t know this is what I’ve always done to these videos like always and you can search through here find one that works for you just grab this one Right here and then when you do that you can go ahead and click the download button on the right side here right there it is now one thing worked out is you can actually make your own skin as well if you want and we have an in-depth Guide in the description on how to do exactly that it goes over everything you need to know about creating your own Minecraft skin including having a video up here at the top that covers it too so text tutorial video tutorial walks you through everything to create your own Custom skin but nevertheless our skin is now downloaded if we minimize our browser it is in our downloads folder let’s go ahead and get it out of there because it’s hard to navigate so let’s go ahead and click on the little Windows icon top left of my screen bottom left Your screen or bottom center for skin on Windows 11. tell type in download you have this download folder most likely except I don’t I have the file explorer options let’s go ahead and click on that and then the left hand sidebar you’ll have this PC click on that and then You’ll have a downloads folder here is the skin now if you open this up it looks uh it looks bad right just it looks really bad so what we want to do is move this to our desktop and by the way it’s supposed to look this bad um That’s what Minecraft skins look like actually on a broken down level I know it’s hard to see it but it’ll look good in game so nevertheless there is the skin if we open up the Minecraft launcher well that’s opening up have a nice more sponsor Apex Minecraft host You go to the first link down below the breakdown to XYZ slash Apex to start a Minecraft server of your very own in under five minutes we love to stay back so much because all of our Minecraft servers on apex Minecraft hosting truthfully they are the best host around 24 hours seven day a week support one-click mod pack support and so much more first link down below the breakdown to XYZ slash Apex to start your own server nevertheless here we are in the Minecraft launcher where we can go to skins now there’s actually something really Cool if we scroll down on the left hand side here and as you can see that was the last tutorial I did on this was using the golden Knight but if we scroll down on the left hand side here there’s all these default skins y’all have these As well you know you have Steve and Alex those are the old ones that we all know and love but there’s all these new ones as well and it’s so amazing to see these so maybe you just want to select one of these skins and run with it right you Could just click use on it and you’re good to go you have one of these default skins however if you don’t use one of those you want to use that custom skin we downloaded click on the new skin button here you can have this whatever you want I’m gonna name this Knight Tonight you can decide whether you want the wide or slim models Steve or Alex there and then click browse skin file then you want to select the skin file that you downloaded right like so and boom see how good it looks in game looks much better on the character than it did When we opened it up but looks really good in Minecraft and we want to select our Cape you may not have a cape and that’s okay and then click save and use in the bottom right to save and use your skin Oh no I wanted to switch back to my Old skin though we’ll just go ahead and click use right here and move back but Nick I’d rather run that night skin click use on that see how easy it is you move between these skins once we’ve done that though we can go ahead and jump into Minecraft 1.19.3 and by the way Once you’ve added your skin file you can delete it you don’t need to keep it around once you’ve added it to Minecraft you can delete it so once we’re in game we can actually hit F5 or FN F5 on your keyboard depending on the keyboard that You have and you can see here there is our skin it is active press F5 again go back to first person and swing back around to third person and then looking at your character so that’s a great way to get your skin changed like I said if You wanted to change your skin back it’s super easy just go back to the Minecraft launcher and once you’re in the launcher just go back to that skins Tab and select the skin that you want so let’s say I wanted to go back to the skin that I’ve been using for nearly a decade making these Minecraft videos which is insane but if you go to skins here we have this aversion click on use it’ll select my skin and then we can click play and click Play Again by the way for those of you who are out there if you Want to make that skin and then um you know add a mouth to it because it doesn’t have a mouth but I’ve never been able to do that but if you want to take that skin add them out to it and then tweet us at the breakdown XYZ on Twitter We might use it I I will use it so yeah but anyway now if we jump back into single player we can see that my skin is back to the one we all know and love awesome stuff thanks for watching we’ll see you in the next video my name is Nick and also
