Checkers we’re going to do another minecraft drawing today yeah what are we going to draw this time a wolf no way all right geez you got your marker we hope you guys are going to follow along with us you got something to draw with and a piece of paper in front of You this wolf has been one of the most requested things that we’ve had for a long time and we’re going to do it today all right here we go first step we are going to start with his head we’re going to do a square okay okay we’re gonna start with Our paper horizontal two and here we go we’re gonna do a l shape this is going to be his head so we don’t want it too big we don’t want it too small and when we do the l we want to make sure that this line and this line are about the same Are the same length and then we can finish that square and our friends can use a ruler and either way it doesn’t matter but now we’re gonna we’re gonna do his his nose okay so that’s going to be another box and we want it really close to the left side over here Like that and we lined up the box with the bottom of his head huh okay and now we’re gonna extend the top just a little further and come down and there’s his nose that’s pretty easy huh yeah hey now let’s do let’s do the top of his nose Oh it’s kind of a rectangle shape in the middle of the box towards the top and then we’re going to do his mouth down here at the bottom that’s simple we just draw a straight line like that cool now let’s get his eyes in there we try We are trying really hard to make this a super easy wolf so let’s get his eyes gonna go up and over and extend the bottom over here too okay then we’ll come up for the eye and we’re going to do the same over here up over Extend this bottom line if you go too fast you can always pause the video yes and i am kind of going a little fast huh and then we’re going to draw line down for that eye that’s way too small that’s all right it’s okay we’re going To practice too so let’s color this in we’re going to color in this eye he’s going cross-eyed he is kind of huh coloring this eye and color in his nose and we’re also going to color in his mouth so this bottom part right here that’s a pretty easy that is the easiest Way to draw wolf’s a wolf’s face huh from minecraft that didn’t take us very long and you could probably memorize that too huh yep all right so we’re going to draw the rest of his body or in the rest of his head first so let’s extend out the bottom Not too much okay we don’t want to go too far and then we’re going to extend out the top but we want to angle it down slightly okay and then we’re gonna connect these and this line should be straight up and down good job okay now let’s get his Ears in there all right okay so we are gonna do we’re gonna we’re gonna step in and then do a line up and we’re going to make squares on top of his head for his ears okay and then let’s extend the top down just a little bit slightly and then Bring that the back of his ear down good now let’s do the other side so we’re going to start here come up and we want to come up to the same same distance over here and draw another box could probably made mine a little bit wider and then we’re going to bring this Down and then connect it into that back line good he looks awesome you’re done with his head let’s color in his ear this right side of his ear dude you did a wolf face from minecraft super easy huh yes yes all right okay now we’re going to draw his the middle Of his body so we’re going to connect the ears come up connect the ears then we’re going to imagine that line going through the back of his ears and then extend out past his body then we’re going to draw a straight line down this is the part we’re going to color Red if we want to draw a tamed wolf right now we’re going to extend this down and it’s parallel to his head right yep or any color because you can yeah it’s his call is collar right yeah you can get that and then press do the dial on him on his collar yeah Cool we’ll we’ll do it red so he’s a tamed he’s a dog but if you want to if you don’t want him tamed then you just do it a dark color right okay all right we got his collar same color yeah oh yeah exactly okay we’re gonna extend this line out To finish the middle part of his body and then the top line is gonna come down you want those to be the same and we’re going to connect them awesome he’s looking really cool okay now we’re going to do the back part of his body and this is going to be a Straight line again so this bottom line is perfectly straight well not perfectly but you know what i mean okay and then we’re going to step down and then bring his body down and you want that to be the same distance down here and a straight line dude we did the wolf body it’s It’s really easy huh yeah is this too easy maybe can we make it too easy okay let’s do his tail we’re gonna do two lines diagonally over here we’ll do another one over here and then we can draw a straight line across and then we’re going to draw down And then another parallel line we did his tail all right let’s do his legs and we’ll be done okay so we’re going to draw we’re going to step in right here we’ll draw a straight line down good okay and then we’ll draw another straight line over here And you want these to come down at the same same distance down here okay and then we’re going to draw two lines in the middle kind of close together here we go one two good and those should all be the same length down here at the bottom And your right leg’s a little thicker than your left leg and that’s okay so that’s that when you get these two in the middle then your legs should be the same the same width and we’ll connect the bottom good okay now we’re going to do another line Right here for the side of his foot her leg and connect them and connect it good now let’s do his back legs and we’ll be done we’re going to do another line down and this i’m making shorter so i’m making this back legs just a little bit shorter and then We can do another line here and another line here wait what sorry two lines oh you know what you could leave off that second line i drew okay and just make sure that these two lines are the same length and then connect them ready wait what so connect this You’re just not going to draw the fourth leg okay and then we’re going to draw here like that so see i have that other leg right here and you could draw a little line right there diagonal and that would be the other leg cool you did it dude Yeah his legs are a little chubby that’s okay you did a great job was that fun yeah it was really easy huh yeah all right we gotta color them should we do that next all right all right checkers we’ve got our colors all ready and we’re we’re gonna for this For coloring the wolf we’re gonna use white light gray and we have a slightly darker gray and these for our art prints if they’re using the same brand we’re using pentel oil pastels this is a deep gray and then this one is oh the paper is ripped off what’s your say oh the Paper’s ripped off on yours yeah this one might just be the regular gray and we got our white and then we’re also using for his nose a yellow gray so and then this color just comes in uh i think this is the 50 pack is that Right yeah and so it might not come in a smaller pack but you guys can use a different brown and then add white on top of it to get this this kind of brown so we’re gonna we did something also really special with our drawing what did We do we’ve got two of them how did that happen how did we draw them perfect oh yeah we copied it yeah so and the reason why we copied it is if after we’re done with the drawing our friends can do this too is after you’ve done making a really cool drawing and Now you want to color it and you’re worried that you might color it you’re not sure exactly how you want to color it but you might mess up you can make a copy of it and then you can practice on the copy and then when You get it exactly how you want it then you can color on your actual drawing that’s a cool secret huh yeah all right so let’s put our copies off to the side we’re we’re not going to do the texture that you usually see on the minecraft wolf you know with all the Pixels and stuff we’re going to do a simple shading where we do everything solid when you shade a cube so let’s let’s draw a cube really quick so here’s our cube and we’ve got three different colors of gray right well actually we only have two so if we’re gonna do shading and pretend Like the light is coming from this direction we’re going to use our medium gray okay and we’ll color one side and then we’ll use our dark gray for the other side because this is in the shadow right and what do we do about the top oh you Do this and then put one yes you’re smart so we need a lighter gray than that so we do that we do the medium gray and then we put a layer of white on top but for this one we are not shading the top of our wolf Huh because we didn’t even draw the top of our wolf but this is a good concept to remember so we got three different types of gray huh yeah cool all right let’s put that off to the side and stop talking let’s start coloring so get your medium gray the middle one And we’re going to do the front of his face above his lines so we want to draw a line between his eyes like that and we’re going to draw we’re going to color everything above it now let’s speed it up too okay right now all right cool dude okay now we’re going To do his ears so let’s color those in okay now let’s drop down and do his the front of his legs all right now let’s get the dark gray and we’re going to do the right side of his body so we’ll take it a step at a Time so we don’t color the wrong parts and so let’s start with the side of his head good now we’re going to skip over this this part which is his collar right and we’re going to do the side of his body so we’ll do this this part right here and this part Okay we also went over this line again with our marker right because we cut we kind of covered it up with the uh dark pastel gray pastel so let’s do the side of his tail and then we’re also going to do the right side of all of his legs okay Okay we got that done and we also went back over some of the lines on his legs to make those dark again okay let’s do his face okay we’re gonna get this uh yellow gray and we’re gonna do the front of his face we’re also doing in between his eyes So we could do that let’s do that really quick and then we’re gonna need to make this the right side of his mouth a little darker so i’ll show you how we’ll do that later okay so another secret for our friends at home we have scratch paper on the Side of our drawing right yeah and this is where we test things so i’m gonna uh and we also use it to clean off so if we if we have a an oil pastel that we’ve gotten we’ve gone over a dark oil pastel some of that Dark will be left on there and you can use a scratch paper to clean it off so but what i wanted to do is test something so i was going to do we need to do the side of his of his nose but we need to do it darker so i have this Darker brown and i’m going to practice and see what it looks like i’m going to put a layer on top and it looks perfect look at that it looks a little bit darker so i was able to test it on the scratch paper before i Do it on the drawing okay so here we go we’re going to use this dark this dark brown and shade the right side of his nose and i’m just going to do a light layer on top what kind of is it ripped off no i think it’s on There oh yeah it is ripped off i don’t know what kind that is i think that’s the same one and this one is van dyke brown no that’s the right one van dyke brown so i put a light layer on the right side of his nose and we can do Another layer on top back with that same yellow gray to kind of blend it in there i’m gonna go back over it because it got a little too light there we go so now it looks more 3d huh yeah so the right side of it so you can Make that a little bit darker yes good job okay what are we missing um his color his color i’m gonna i’m gonna color mine red and what color are you gonna do yours uh which one do i always do you use do you do blue i thought you said you do blue um Kind it’s like this kind of blue okay let’s do it all right that’s so awesome i love your blue collar man that’s really cool you like my red yeah so if you wanted to leave him untamed right what would you do you’d do this light gray or you could do it the darker Gray too i’ve seen them both ways i’ve seen almost a black around here and i’ve also seen just a regular gray around there so you could do it either way but was that fun we didn’t do the full texture of the wool but he still looks Pretty cool huh it’s a simple way to do to color in a minecraft world we hope you guys had a ton of fun drawing your minecraft wolves with us and we want to see a photo of their art don’t we yeah well how so if they email
