Hey guys welcome back to the magnificent world of rl craft throughout the past few months i have continued to get questions about how to fit 22 plus enchantments on a single weapon in our l craft without things getting quote-unquote too expensive i have explained how to enchant for cheap on my live streams Before but i felt a short video was in order for anyone who wants to know how to reasonably fit up to 32 enchantments on a single item in rl craft without even using upgraded potentials let’s get right into it warning there will be some numbers but i’ll try to keep it simple The enchanted method i am going to explain works for vanilla minecraft as well as pretty much every minecraft modpack and mod experience out there but i will be showcasing the method in rl craft in order to enchant in minecraft for as cheap as possible you must use a method Some like to call stack enchanting or exponential enchanting i just call it the 246 method though because that helps me remember it there are a multitude of ways to go about this stack enchanting and i could talk about the way minecraft is coded and why this technique works all day But instead of boring you i would just explain a simple way to execute this enchanting method by walking you through how i fit 30 enchantments on this single item for under 520 xp levels in total first you need to combine two enchantment books that have the enchantments you want Together and then place that double enchantment book on your item in this case i am using supreme sharpness 5 and swifter slashes 5 because those two enchantments are the most expensive for this weapon this combined book will cost 41 levels to be placed on your item because both enchantments cost 20 and you pay one extra level because the book was combined a single time this will show as too expensive in the anvil but unlike vanilla you can enchant an item even if it says too expensive in rl craft do not worry though i do not make any enchantment combination cost more than 62 levels in my example next you combine two enchantment books with two other combined enchantment books and then place that times four enchantment book on your item in my case i combined roon piercing capabilities 4 with combat veteran c3 and advanced looting 3 within venom 3. this enchantment book Costs 46 levels to be placed on my item next you combine three enchantment books with three other enchantment books that you combined already and then place that time 6 enchantment book on your item hence the 2 4 6. this 6 in my case happens to be arcslash 3 Lifesteal 4 and education 3 combined with subject pe advanced mending and curse of holding 2. this time 6 enchantment book will cost 62 levels to be placed on the item and my previous enchanting example in the background of my video it cost me 580 levels in total but i did not use Upgraded potentials in this example i will use that enchantment for the cheaper overall cost of 545. so instead of going for an x 8 enchantment book that will cost nearly 80 levels to be placed on my item i combined four enchantment books and applied that combined tome instead i combined advanced knockback 2 Unpredictable 2 supreme fire aspect 2 and cursive vanishing 2 this combined book costs 46 levels to be applied to my weapon also disclaimer do not actually put these cursed enchantments on your weapon i am just placing them on so i can enchant the weapon with more enchantments than normal for my example Personal possession is wonderful for not letting your item get disarmed by enemies but the rest of them are overall negative anyways next i apply upgraded potentials on my item which will always cost 10 levels on an already enchanted item this enchantment resets the cost of enchanting a single time by eight stages In other words if you enchant to the point where unbreaking costs over 128 levels on its own then even upgraded potentials cannot save your item’s cost next after upgraded potentials you will do your 2 4 6 method again since i only had 13 enchantment books left over though i Just placed a times 8 enchantment book on my item and then a times 5 enchantment book on my item because i could i combined lunar’s blessing 5 with fling 2 penetration 5 with curse of possession and then i combined difficulties endowment 5 with unbreaking 3 and viper 5 with true strike i then Combined both of those times 4 enchantment books together and then put that times 8 enchantment book on my freshly reset item for the total cost of 60 levels this is not very wise means this will skip four enchanting stages because of me combining two double books twice This increases overall cost more than me just doing the 246 method since that also goes through four stages but that system has 10 enchantments instead of just eight but it is faster and i wanted to show that even if you do not completely follow the 246 method As long as you follow the quote unquote stack enchanting method then your overall cost of enchanting will be considerably lower than just placing enchantment books on your item one at a time if you follow the 246 method here instead of making my times 8 combined book then the overall enchantment cost will Be 511 instead of 545. lastly i just placed purging blade 5 vampirism 2 and atomic deconstructor 2 together and combined that with parry 3 an unreasonable 2 and then i place that final times 5 enchantment book on my item this glorious weapon with 30 enchantments on it is quite impressive But with all those cursed enchantments it is more inconsistent than normal but at least it didn’t cost a lot of levels to make it with that i am going to wrap up this stack enchanting method is incredible and efficient it would take me an incredibly long time for me personally to explain Why this technique works so i won’t in this video but if you’re curious on the minecraft fandom website you can find an enchanting formula and charts that attempt to explain how minecraft enchanting numbers are calculated on that site you can also find that any enchantments that you get from an enchantment table Do not affect your cost of enchanting at an anvil so if you can get a few max enchantments for free at an enchantment table then you should so you can save some xp and enchantment books regardless i hope you enjoyed this video and got some useful enchanting knowledge out of it With 2.9 rl craft coming out soon many rl crafters will make a new world and therefore will need to enchant a new maxed out weapon i hope this knowledge comes in handy for some of you on your adventures and make sure to check out my strongest melee weapon video if you want a Reminder on what the strongest pve weapon is in our railcraft in terms of dps but anyways thank you so much for watching and i hope you have a wonderful day bye bye Video Information

In this video I showcase the best enchanting method that any Minecraft player should use, when enchanting any item with a lot of enchantments. In order to afford placing dozens of enchantments on an item, one must use the concept of “stack enchanting.” I explain the concept in the video and how to best utilize this strategy in an exponential fasion (2,4,6). You will be wishing that more enchantments exist after watching this video so you can place them all on your RLCraft weapon. The exponential stacking enchantment method I describe in the video works in vanilla Minecraft, and all Modpacks that have not altered the base Minecraft enchantment system. I do not know any modpack that does alter the base Minecraft enchantment code, but just in case there is one, I will not say this method works in “every” modpack, but it will work in 99% of them. It is a simple enchanting strategy, but it is still hard to explain. I tried my best to describe it simply but effectively in this video. I hope you enjoy the watch! I also explain the usefulness of Upgraded potentials, and that enchantments applied on an item from the enchantment table are free concerning anvil enchanting.
