Hello everybody it is matt video productions and welcome back to another tutorial here in minecraft as you guys can see we are on the bedrock version of minecraft today but i’m also going to be switching to the pc version of minecraft because this tutorial kind of is a little bit different depending on Which version of minecraft you play but i think the majority of people watching this video are going to be playing on the bedrock version of minecraft so we’re starting out today with this tutorial on bedrock and then obviously like i said before i’m gonna switch to the pc tutorial in this video Now what i’m gonna do on this channel is uh kind of remake some older tutorials because people are still watching them and they’re a little outdated and uh honestly and not the best and i feel kind of bad about it so i’ve decided that uh on this channel to Kind of get me back on track with videos i’m gonna start by pretty much just remaking some older tutorials that definitely need a refresher and are definitely popular and i think you guys will definitely enjoy so today in this tutorial we’re going to be doing how to find a village in Minecraft pe or minecraft bedrock edition and also minecraft pc or java edition so let’s pretend that uh this is your survival world for example you know i’d be punching trees building houses or stuff but i really want to find a village and you know for whatever reason I can’t find any in my immediate area or you know all the villagers died in the villages in my immediate area and i just need to find a new one or multiple new ones or you know i just want villager loot whatever it may be and this tutorial pretty much works for Any structure in minecraft that is pretty large and can be seen from the outside jungle temples might be a little tricky but it might still work for jungle temples now as you can see we are in the survival world what you’re going to want to do is hit the escape key Go to settings and as you can see over here on the left it has the world option with the game button and we are in game settings right now if we scroll all the way down we can find the seed now what i want you guys to do is Take your phone out or if you’re already playing this on your phone just screenshot or take a photo of this seed right here because we’re going to need it later or of course you know you can do the old-fashioned method and just write it down on a piece of paper So i’m going to do that right now you guys can’t see this but i’m taking my phone out took a picture and now what we’re going to do is actually exit the game go to create new go to create a new world switch it to creative mode again this turns off achievements But we’re making a new world so it does not matter and then we’re going to scroll down in the edit settings with the game down to seed we are going to enter the seed that we took a screenshot or a picture of or wrote down I’m going to type it in 7 7 7 2 3 7 six one three so there’s the seed when i generate this brand new world it’s gonna place me exactly in the same location that i was but in creative this time now once you are in here you’re gonna wanna go ahead and Find whatever location you may be in on your map you know let’s say you build a house over there and said you want to fly over there and and go to where your house is but since i’m just going to pretend i built my house over here For example and i want to look around here i’m going to hit the escape key again go into settings this time we’re going to scroll down on the left panel over here to video and then in video we’re going to go to the right over here scroll down Yet again to render distance and we’re going to turn all of this up now on some slower devices this might make you lag a little bit but to compensate for that you can go ahead and turn any of these other settings off to kind of increase Your frame rate and get rid of any lag i’m not going to have that issue though so i’m just going to exit out here and now we should be able to see a much much farther than before so i’m going to do is fly up and start flying up and Honestly just looking around for a village the advantage here is obviously the render distance is increased and we can fly around and go really high up and really see some villages and or you know structures in a desert let’s say let’s say you really need near a desert and want to look for Temples you can also do this for that or even jungle temples as well or outposts too i found many outposts like this and what you can also do is go back into your video settings and turn the clouds off to make it even easier to see the villages because the Clouds kind of get in your way sometimes and already i’ve found a village right over here and also this helps to basically find anything else you know within the terrain of minecraft like new bombs or there isn’t like a nice spike biome you know there’s some mountains you know whatever you want to See it’s a really good way to survey your land without you know turning cheats on and going into creative mode you can just copy the seat over but definitely better than my old video for sure that is you know almost three years old now actually it is Three years old now but yeah here is a village right over here inhabited by many happy villagers that we have found and this pretty much works indefinitely you can just fly up again fly around a little bit and find another village and usually you can kind of Know where your location is in your survival world and find the village but you can always extra tip go into settings here in game scroll all the way down to world options and click show coordinates and this way you can use these coordinates up here on your left hand corner To find pretty much anything in minecraft like anywhere in the world it’s going to be a pinpoint location so yeah that is to find exact locations so that is how you do this for a minecraft bedrock edition we’re going to switch over to the pc or java edition of minecraft alrighty here we Are in classic minecraft java edition or minecraft pc edition the tutorial for this version is no harder but it is just a little bit different so that’s why i kind of wanted to split them up but yeah so as you can see we’re going to pretend that this is my survival World and i just you know can’t find a village or i just want to find another one or all my villagers are dead whatever it may be now in minecraft java edition if you notice that if i hit f3 it actually does not tell me the Seed so there’s no way to find out the seed like this now what i can do is hit the t key on the keyboard to bring up the chat and do slash seed like this this is a command you don’t need to have cheats on for I hit enter and then now it’s going to bring up the seed in chat for me now eventually this little seed in the chat will fade away just like that but if i hit t again you know there it is and actually what’s really nice about minecraft java edition there’s a lot of Stuff like this in the java edition of minecraft i can just click and to copy that to my clipboard and so i don’t even need to take a picture of it or anything like that that is a you know a cool feature that is in java edition there’s A lot of stuff like that in java that just make things easier anyways this is my survival world i’ve copied the scene and i want to go find a village so what i’m going to do hit escape save and quit the title go back to single player Create a new world this time in creative mode you know name it whatever just name it you know village click more world options over here and just hit control v on the keyboard and that will paste the seed into the seed for the world generator thing in the world creation Then i click done over here click create new world and now it’s going to generate me a brand new creative world with the same seed just like we did for the bedrock version all right here we are looks exactly the same again what we’re going to do is go into our Settings here go to options go to video settings we’re going to find the render distance over here and turn it up as much as we can again this is probably going to create some lag for you guys so you can go ahead and you know turn graphics off turn smooth lighting off Particles and any shadows and any distance so you don’t have to deal with that again what you can also do is turn the clouds off to make it easier to fly up and kind of see all of the villages so that’s what i’m going to do right now is Fly up and look for some villages now believe it or not villages are a little bit more rare on the java edition so it’s going to be a little bit harder to find them on java and also the render distance is usually smaller on java edition just because the java edition is Generally a slower version of minecraft but just keep looking and you eventually will find one again if we hit f3 we actually do get the coordinates over here let me just show you with the mouse there you go there are your coordinates so i recommend taking screenshots or Pictures with your phone of different coordinates for different locations so you can translocate them in your survival world oh there actually is something over here i’m not gonna fly over there but again you can find other structures like this and there is a shipwreck right over there so there you go that is Another structure that you can find and what i’m doing here is actually going into my options and decreasing the fov here which can help you kind of uh see uh lots of things up close from far away basically decreases the field of vision oh and here we go Just found a village like that and not too far away from spawn either again they are definitely more rare in the java version of minecraft you know they’re not uncommon you can definitely find them using this method it’s very easy yeah we have a nice little village going on over here So that will do it for this tutorial in minecraft you know i want to thank everybody for watching and supporting my content and videos i know i’ve been uh pretty scarce in the videos lately but i’m gonna try and bring it back up for you guys and remake some older tutorials that definitely Need some love and remaking and i’m going to focus on the more popular ones for you guys so yeah everybody thank you for watching i’m heavy reductions and i shall see you guys in the next video goodbye Video Information
