Moss blocks they have got to be my new favorite block in the game but how do you get it and how do you use it well that’s what i’m going to show you in 1.17 you can obtain them from a wandering trader but uh none of these have the trade Or from a shipwreck loot chest although this one doesn’t have one or in 1.18 you can find them in lush caves like right here this is a big one once you find moss blocks you can collect them with a hoe what’s amazing about moss blocks is they are Easily renewable with bone meal so just place one down and bone meal it and look at all this all of the stone around it turned into moss blocks as well as a few other things in here so all you need to do is bone meal the moss blocks and you get much more What you also get is this now this is carpet moss you also get grass you get azalea and there we go there’s the flowered azalea there is a difference between java and bedrock editions here in java you can change gravel and sand into moss blocks but you can’t in bedrock edition In case you’re wondering bone mailing moss blocks will not change anything like wood or oars or anything like that just varieties of stone dirt gravel and sand and again sand and gravel only in java edition not only do you get moss carpet azalea and flowering azalea If you bone meal one of these azalea you can get a full azalea tree just like that so now we have azalea leaves and flowering azalea leaves all from moss blocks if you bone meal moss blocks along the water you don’t get any moss blocks under the water which is pretty good But let’s try and plant some other things now we can plant flowers how about sugar cane yes we can and bamboo oh that’s grass that’s planted on the moss block there we go so it appears we can plant a lot of things here but we can’t make Farms here this is moss block there’s no dirt here there are some things that you can craft with moss blocks now you can make moss carpet you can also make mossy cobblestone and mossy stone bricks what happens with a piston is it breaks the block you can also compost moss blocks And if you want some hidden light just put some kind of light source under there and cover it up with the moss carpet so there you go you got hidden light and that is the moss block i absolutely love this new block it has so many uses So many things you can get from it and great for decorating let me know in the comment section below what you would like to use moss blocks for if you like the video then please give it a thumbs up and if you’re interested in seeing more easy minecraft tutorials then please consider subscribing We’ll see you next time bye bye You Video Information
