How to get CUSTOM capes and texture packs on console in minecraft (PS4, Xbox, Switch) New Method

Hey guys in today’s video i’m gonna be showing you how to get custom texture packs and custom capes on console uh you probably know that because you read the title but just saying it again anyways make sure to like the video and comment down below if you have any questions All right to start you’re gonna need a mobile device whether it’s a phone or an ipad or tablet anything like that and you’re just gonna need discord minecraft and the files app whatever files app your device has uh and you’re gonna need to click the link in the description and join this

Discord server mcpe packs dotnet and when you join it’ll have this thing now at the bottom where it says console packs and then underneath server packs you gotta click that so that you can see it because that is what we are going to be using to host the

Texture packs and the capes on all right so if you scroll down to the bottom then you’ll see the server packs they have a bunch of different servers but we’re going to be using hive because that’s i think the main server so you just click the link and it’ll

Take you to this page click download from there you gotta push open in and then save to files from there we’re gonna create a new folder using the button at the top uh we’re gonna do this just so it’s more organized and yeah that’s the only reason yeah call it hive

Packs anything like that Click done and then save and then go to the files app in there then we’re going to push desktop and then go to the pan go to the file sorry that you just made so we’re going to go to hive pack and then you want to unzip the file that we just

Downloaded from discord once it’s fully extracted then you can go back to the files menu and push on my ipad or on my iphone if you’re on a phone go to minecraft games and then resource packs from there you’ll see all the resource packs that you have on your phone

If you don’t play on your phone then you’ll probably have none and you’ll need to download the one that you want on your console then you want to go into the pack and copy the textures folder only then we’ll go back to the desktop and then into the folder that we extracted earlier

Into sub packs use this one and then paste the textures folder from the texture pack that we want to use after that then we’ll go back all the way out to the high fold the high folder and then copy it After that then we’ll go to back to on my ipad into the games and resource packs and paste this pack into there when we paste it in that is putting it into the minecraft app in the resource pack section now that it’s all loaded up then we can go

To minecraft and if you’re doing this for yourself you are going to need to sign out of your microsoft account because you can’t join a world on the same account um but if you’re hosting it for your friend then you don’t need to sign it to sign out just go to settings profile

And then push sign out of my minecraft account or whatever now that we’re signed out then we’re gonna push play create new create new world and then push the resource packs and make sure that this box is checked then we’re gonna activate the hive ui which has the pack that we are hosting

And make sure the resolution is on use this one after that then you can just create it now that we’ve created the pack we are gonna go on the playstation or the xbox or whatever console you’re using and go into settings once in settings gonna you’re gonna scroll down to storage

And into cached data make sure you and then push multi-select and select all the things that say hive once you’ve selected all of them then just delete them then make sure you have no resource packs turned on make sure they’re all turned off after that then push play and then go to

Your friends tab and scroll down to any lan games if it’s your friend doing it then scroll down to their world and join their world make sure you push download and join so that you download the texture pack that you’re trying to get now you’re in the

World you have the texture pack and you can see all the textures are there in this pack so yeah once you’re in the world then you can just leave it immediately you don’t need it anymore and you can join the hive once you’re in hive you can see

Your texture whatever one you got is enabled and all the npcs are there all that’s kind of stuff works and that is basically how you get the texture pack on console all right now i’m going to show you how to get the custom capes with the custom texture packs as well

So to start you’re going to click the link in the description to download the custom capes pack when you download it then open it in minecraft for me it says that the import failed but that’s because it’s a duplicate and i’ve already downloaded it before then you’re gonna go into your files app

And into the minecraft resource pack section and find the custom capes folder um if you don’t have many packs on your phone then it should be pretty easy to find once you find it then copy the whole folder And go back to the hive pack folder that we made earlier then paste it in next to the hive texture pack folder just so that it we can keep it organized and do it really quick then go into the hive folder into sub packs take the textures and delete it

Only delete it if you want a different texture pack if you want the same texture pack uh then you don’t need to delete it and just ignore this step but if you want a different one then go into the minecraft section and select a different texture pack

Just like we did before copy only the textures folder uh and then paste it back into the hive texture pack folder under sub packs once that’s fully loaded then exit out and go into the custom capes folder once there find the animations folder and copy the whole thing

Then go back into the hive folder and paste it in just in the whole general place it normally arranges them in alphabetical order then go back and copy the entity folder and do the same just paste it into the open Do the same with the models As well as the render controllers Once all those are done loading Then go back into the custom capes push sub packs and this is where you decide what you want so all of these folders are a different cape uh the cape is based on the name like there’s hardcore which has like a hardcore heart there’s hive lightning all those different ones we’re

Gonna choose the hive one go selecting find the cape copy just the cape and then exit back to the hive texture pack once in there find the sub packs folder use this one and find the texture pack that we copied that you’re gonna use if there is no entity folder then

We’ll have to go back uh some texture packs don’t have an entity folder uh but let’s pretend that this folder is an entity folder you just paste it in just like that but since it doesn’t have one then we’ll go back to the custom cape pack into sub packs Find the cape that we want copy the entity folder of the cape and go back to the hive pack just like before we’ll go back to the sub packs use this one and into the textures then we’ll just paste the entity folder of the cape and inside of the entity folder should

Be the cape that you want then exit out all the way out and copy the whole uh file onto minecraft just like we did before we’re going to paste it into the resource packs section which will directly import it into the app under the resource pack section of settings It may take a bit to load but once it’s fully loaded then you can just go into the minecraft app Just like before if you’re hosting yourself you’re gonna need to be signed out uh but if you’re doing it for your friend just stay signed in then we’re going to create a world just like last time resource packs push that little box and we’re gonna choose under my packs hive ui

Then once it’s the only one selected then you can create the world once you’ve created the world then we’ll go back to your console once you’re on the console go into settings just like before go to storage and delete all cache data that says hive then once that’s deleted make sure you

Have no texture packs turned on then you can go to the your friends tab and select the world that you created on your mobile device once you download the packs and join into the world then you should be ready to go now to turn on the cape

All you have to do is enter into your inventory so for me it’s the triangle button and you can sort of see on the character the cape is there uh and there’s the cape um so yeah that’s basically how you get the cape then all you have to do is uh

Just leave the world you don’t need it anymore you can delete it and then join hive once you’re on hive then all you have to do just like before go into your inventory and your cape will be there all right just before the video ends

There is a couple of few notes the capes are only visible to you um since they are a texture pack and that is the only way to get custom capes on consoles so there’s nowhere of getting visible to other people second the every time that the hive

Updates you do have to do this again uh luckily the hive rarely updates so you don’t have to do it that often if you have any questions just comment them down below and bye
