In today’s video I’ll be showing you how to get custom texture packs on Minecraft console edition let’s go now before we get started please note that you do need Minecraft on a second device for this method also shout out to Lucas paw because this is his original idea you Can find all of his links in the description below the step one is just on your PS5 or switch or whatever consoles head to the marketplace and in the top right in the search bar search for classic now you can search classic texture pack or just classic I’m just gonna filter this by Textures as you can see on screen and once it refreshes classic texture pack right there I’m just gonna go over to that and I’m going to hit download so download download and boom now that it’s downloaded you’re gonna head to settings you’re gonna go down to global resources And then head over to my packs and you’re gonna find the classic texture pack so as you can see it’s right there you’re going to press activate go back to the top where it says active and you’re gonna just click on the texture pack go over to the check mark and press delete Now on your mobile device as you can see or your second device you’re going to do the exact same step so you’re just going to search for classic as you can see you’re gonna filter it if you want I’m filtering it and you’re just going to download Minecraft classic texture pack So mine just downloaded I’m just cutting a lot but in my packs you’re just going to do the same steps active click on active and then just delete next you’re gonna head to the link in the description and you’re gonna go to this MediaFire link on this MediaFire Link you’re going to download the manifest.json as I’m doing and from there you’re going to head to your files app so in my files app they’re put next to each other yours might not be but I’ll have my texture pack to the left and the Manifest to the right you’re going to Drag and drop the Manifest into that pack and press replace so I’m just going to wait for this to replace and there we go it has replaced so after you do that do not compress the pack into a zip or MC pack that will mess up And it won’t work so you’re gonna press copy and then you’re gonna go to the path that’s on screen right now and in these paths are the resource packs path so you’re going to paste that folder there so as you can see I’m just going to go to there And then resource packs and I’m just going to paste it in right there now I’m just going to close out of Minecraft fully and then relaunch Minecraft that’s why my screen’s blurred and so I’m now on Minecraft mobile so I’m just going to click play and I’m just Gonna go see if I have the texture pack so it should not show up in global resources but it should show up in cache data under pack.name now you’re going to create new create new world and you’re just going to scroll to Resource packs owned and then look for the packs There’s mine right there with the pack.name and that PNG and I’m just going to enable it and create the world so as you can see it’s enabling and I’m building terrain and then once it builds terrain you’re going to head on to your console So I’m on my PS5 and as you can see the Lan game just popped up I’m just going to click on that Lan game really quick so I’m going down land game and I’m just gonna join it as you can see the pack is downloading again now if it tells you You need to download the pack again just click download and join that’s what you want to do and you should see the pack start to enable like this so there we go the plaque has enabled as you can see now for step six so now you’re just gonna go to your World so I’m just going to my world I’m going to go down to Resource packs and then right there Minecraft classic texture pack click active it will say download content let’s download once it downloads again you can just go and press play so press play and as you can see the texture pack Has enabled so clearly from the transparent like borders and stuff it has enabled there’s the Panorama and as you can see my whole world on this PS4 is now 8×8 which was the texture pack I was using so with that being said if you want to Change packs you go settings you go down to storage cache data and just delete Minecraft classic texture pack now here are some tips you can delete installed cash packs so the storage tab when updating a resource pack delete the custom one in the storage Tab and the Minecraft classic textures to the global Resources screen follow this tutorial again from step one you may only apply resource packs in the world not outside the world so and what that means is is you go into your global resources and try to enable the pack it literally won’t do anything or change anything it Will like just look like classic Minecraft so for custom texture packs on servers just refer to my previous tutorial it’ll either pop-up screen as an info card or just on the screen as a link but with that being said thank you guys so much for watching I hope this video Helped you a lot if you’re on Console sorry if I was talking fast or something but that being said please comment like And subscribe and I’ll see you next time Video Information
