HOW TO GET THE BEST ARMOR IN MINECRAFT! | The Minecraft Guide – Tutorial Lets Play (Ep. 74)

Hey everybody it’s that boy honey almond milk cold brew here welcome back to the minecraft guide i forgot i forgot i forgot so i showed you the improvements made to the build but i never showed you the build from a ways away check out the tower from over here i think that looks

Really really good the extra fences in there like the gates opened up that adds a lot of detail so i just got back from the gold farm all of my gear has been healed up all the way just usually lighter a little bit but it’s all been healed up but this gear

After today and probably hopefully if everything goes as planned won’t get any more use that’s right today is finally the day it’s armor day all i need to do is gather a little bit of supplies and then i think i’ll meet you over at the new high-tech storage room

Storage building what do you mean i never said that i meant and i’ve always meant the brand new high-tech enchanting setup so last episode we set up this beauty right here here it is in the flesh the enchantment set up lever over here book shelves go up lever over here

More go up lever over here even more go up and then right here we’re at a level 30 and champion that have riptide three wow that’s actually pretty sweet we can’t take it but that’s sweet today the the goal is super straightforward here i’m really not asking for much i only want

The best set of armor in the game so for starters that best set of armor is going to be full netherride we’re going to worry about the elytra 2 today but let’s talk about the armor right now this is our current set of armor this is really just our first

Set of armor it’s a really good side of armor because it’s full another right but it doesn’t have the ideal enchantments first off right off the bat we’re looking for protection for everything today why production 4 well i actually recently dropped a video on which type of protection is

The best and that video i ran tests experiments explained it all basically in short today protection 4 is the best that’s what you’re going to want to have on everything if you’re looking for an armor set that is overall good the best armor set in the game like us

Now i’m going to go ahead and drop a card on screen now to that video highly highly recommend checking that one out if you’re looking for a little bit more reasoning explanation tests everything like that i explained it in my opinion pretty well in that video so check that out

Production four though on everything but what else would it have it definitely doesn’t stop there well uh check this out not to brag or anything but i wrote a book looking at armor and shipment goals and a table of contents it’s amazing it’s amazing so page two

The helmet the best helmet in the game is going to have these enchantments right here any order but these enchantments we can get all of these other than mending in the enchantment table chest plate right here it’s a lot more simple same with the leggings exactly the same enchantments

The boots they’re going to be stacked they’re going to be loaded up we can get everything from the enchantment table here other than mending and soul speed mending treasure enchantment same with soul speed we actually have a soul speed 3 book so that’s kind of perfect the setup is here

Finally we have the elytra that’s going to be the best elytra in the game we can hopefully take care of that today too but these things right here so we today are basically starting from scratch but actually no we’re not check this out this stuff has been sitting in a shelter

Box since like episode 38 or something like that like it’s getting dusty it’s been here for a minute this is the loot that we got from the end when we went to the end to find the elytra so it’s end city loop so uh right off the bat we can ignore

All of the iron it’s nice but it’s siren we would just ignore it now let’s take a look at some of these things diamond helmet fire production 4 that’s not good protection types are mutually exclusive that’s bad we’ll disenchant it this thing on breaking three blaster protection four interesting interesting

On breaking three projectile protection four interesting interesting check this out on breaking three fire protection four and then mending so we have axel waddle the mending villager we can easily get mending on these and then we could get maybe extra netherride and upgrade these these pieces of armor

Could actually be our specialty pieces if we needed to go into the nether to do something with fire we could swap our other leggings out the protection four ones for this if we were dealing with like creepers or something right there if we’re dealing with i don’t know

Skeletons i found a skeleton spawner finally so basically i’m going to keep these leggings these aren’t bad let’s wrap it up on enchanted boots we’ll take those this right here curse of binding that ruins it all these are basically pointless we can’t get rid of the curse we could disenchant the

Enchantments for experience but the curse is going to stay and then these oh by their falling four that’s beautiful that’s really really good we could maybe combine these with another pair of boots uh to get the feather falling that’s cool oh and then this sword has eluding two basically useless so we’re gonna

Disenchant these two things and this helmet right here but right now we have 69 levels that’s a lot of levels we won’t get very much experience so we’ll wait to disenchant we have a lot of diamonds now let’s go right here helmet chest plate oh diamond leggings i never like to

Spend these diamonds but diamond leggings so enchanting time if you’re building the best set of armor in the game and chanting table is where it’s at for sure so let’s check our enchantments aqua affinity i like that that’s cool that could be good on breaking three i’m breaking three or

Unbreaking three okay so decision decisions decisions riptide 3e i don’t know about that and we we could roll this down but that’s probably not going to be very good today so let’s go ahead and just put that back maybe let’s try that aqua affinity what are we going to have oh okay

Production four unbreaking three aqua affinity that’s like basically it that’s almost it for the helmet i mean we’re missing what i i think uh helmet right here aqua affinity check check uh respiration we need respiration on that helmet wow right off the bat that’s good luck that’s solid

Looting three okay cool so we need to check the book sport on breaking three production four no way that’s crazy are we gonna get lucky right off the bat wow production wait production for okay so production for boots or production for chest plate i think it’s a safer bet here let’s test this

Oh yes yes yes yes that’s amazing production four unbreaking three all we need is mending on that check that out and we can get mending easily okay that’s perfect that’s nice that’s nice no take backs enchantment table and no take backs brass protection four that’s not good

We don’t really want that depth strider three okay that could be good or piercing four okay if i see on breaking three i have to take it but right here depth strider three give me protection four okay just just that okay well that’s that’s okay because this

Yeah that’s the start okay hey what do we have impaling four no no cool but no on breaking three okay well we have one choice here let’s go ahead and take this production three okay we’re so close we were so close i think i’m gonna actually keep those and

Make another set of leggings and uh i guess just disenchant this helmet all right 57 levels fire projection two helmet go away fire projection and then right over here new pair of diamond leggings let’s give this a shot first things first on breaking three i’m breaking three okay okay okay we have to

Take that that’s for the elytra right there we’ll throw that on the elytra in a minute now what on breaking three or respiration three yup uh huh look at this the luck is usually not good with enchanting in this world this is amazing production no okay just on breaking three that’s probably

Just not worth it we’ll just disenchant it that’s a nice enchantment but it’s not worth it we’ll try it again right here protection three that’s it that’s the final one that we needed right there that is beautiful now everything else can be done i think i i think

Maybe oh other than the boots we need to finish the boots up so close but so far so close but so far how could you do this to me blast production four no okay really quick what are we looking for so that’s good uh this we’re looking for we have depth

Rider feather falling that’s good so basically i think on breaking three and more protection right uh production three yeah we need a little bit better protection and we need unbreaking three i think that’s gonna be it for the diamond boots so unbreaking maybe production four okay right off the bat that’s good

Protection for that’s it really that’s it that’s not worth it we’ll try it again we’ll try it again it’s okay depth strider three that’s cool production three okay that’s good that’s good that’s good this depth rider can just go away we don’t need those anymore we’ll take that back thank you very much

And then right here that’s it no it’s not no it’s not no it’s not we need on braking still we still need on breaking on the boots how could i forget i’ve almost forgotten entirely uh no not good did i actually run out of lapis in this building though i think i

Genuinely did i think i’m 100 out of lapis all right i have more lapis let’s give this a shot this please be the one on breaking three right there that’s the one so if we combine everything right here we’re going to have depth rider 3 projection 3

Plus that that’s going to be production 4. so feather falling protection 4 depth deathstrider 3 unbreaking 3. is that it for these enchantments check check check uh check everything else is a treasure enchantment that’s perfect i thought about it since the curse is going to stay there forever

We’ll just leave those alone that’s fine and then this right here looting two we’ll turn that back into a diamond sword maybe we could use that for something else later i don’t know wow so not to brag but that was amazing that went so so well so step one for the god armor

Enchantment table you’re gonna need to line up all of your enchantments somehow whether you get like really lucky and it’s all in the same pair of boots or every single tool or if you have to combine things get all of the enchantments next up it’s mending time there’s no

Crafting table in this house axel waddle how do you do anything who would do that crafting table right here for now now it’s trading time i think what we’re gonna need oh we actually have it lined up already okay hey hey get off of the crafting table no

No i forgot that’s how you behave with crafting tables you don’t deserve them in in a good way it’s like not bad or anything okay anyways mending so if we want to factor in those two other leggings that i talked about uh then we’re gonna need six books of

Mending which we can easily do right here uh there we go six books of mending a little bit more experience that’s cool how do i level you up though which one is going to be more effective probably uh probably this one unfortunately i need to find out okay it does the same thing

The same thing but this one’s five emeralds this is one emerald really quick here let’s go ahead and level axel waddle up to the next level i’m not going to look at that cost that is insane that’s absurd you’ve scammed me but what other trades do you have you have

Another mending trade no way how do you have two mending trades which one do i want to do this one or that one that’s insane uh oh oh obviously that one right there we’ll take some more mending sure i mean i could always stock by all that stuff

And then we have a glass trade right there too do i want to do that fine fine fine fine yes i know i should have just taken more mending okay don’t don’t talk about it i’ve already used the emeralds what’s the next trade right here you have written book right there

Oh oh wait actually written book to that that’s not bad that’s really good and then a clock right there nice but axolotl that is going to be enough for today i’ve made a desperate gigantic mistake and i need to get away from the building before i see it down in the

Comments so yeah we’re going to get away from there and we’re going to go to the nether so i can’t see the comments you know what i’m thinking about it and i think we successfully dodged thorns like entirely we didn’t get any thorns at all which is amazing i

I hate that enchantment it’s the worst enchantment ever so right off the bat i think we’re gonna charge this thing up because i finally have glowstone and hey advancement i didn’t do that before that’s sweet that’s cool we’ll set her spawn there because why not and then yeah

Yeah i thought so i thought i didn’t have an anvil up here so let’s actually drop one in uh well i guess it has to sit on top of something nope that’s gonna be weird okay well fine that that’s that’s awkward let’s just go ahead and

I guess make another trapdoor and put it up on the wall that works anvil is going to go right there we’re going to use that in a second so i was actually just up here not too long ago using the gold farm as you can see experience left over

And then swords that i was despawning this thing works like a charm it is so so amazing all right but it’s time to build our armor so everything here needs mending i think we might as well start with probably what is going to be the most expensive

Thing these three boots soul speed and mending need to be combined so here’s how we do this we want to be smart about the levels so that’s going to cost 12. we can try and swap that that’s going to be 16. we would definitely take the 12.

But what about this six right there okay uh 15 right there that’s a that’s a no-brainer we could do that or we could actually try this out too uh that’s gonna be six and then that’s gonna be really expensive yep so we’ll go for that first then we’ll go

Ahead and do that that’s going to be 17 getting really expensive that’s why we came to the gold farm that’s going to be five and then this right here is going to be 15. ah i hope this works i hope this works okay we’re gonna do

Five right there and then can we do this 19 yes we can do that and then we can rename it to while we’re doing that okay all i need is the levels which is exactly why we came here how fast can we get to the level 19 well let’s find out there

You go oh i’m so sorry i didn’t mean to do that i didn’t even knew that okay it was a trick we can just take them out like this nice and easily level 19. i don’t even have to think about it we could just stand here honestly and afk it

But we’ll speed it up a little bit because why not and you know before things get a little too crazy after we hit level 19 or 20 i don’t remember what we need let’s actually go ahead and uh turn the sound down so music and sounds hostile creatures you’re going down to 10

Because they’re going to be noisy here the rest of the time we’re here all right so we’ll stop there really really quick now these boots right here soul speed three put those on this and then this is going to have every single enchantment that we need other than the name

Everybody knows the best water shoe right there croc so there we go the boots they will be called crocs we’ll have to upgrade those to netherright but that’s the perfect start now let’s actually take care of the leggings these two need to be combined and we need mending

Right off the bat 10 levels or 10 levels what a deal decisions decisions all right so here we go level 10 that was nice and easy we’re probably going to need a little bit more levels to get mending but production four unbreaking three solid start mending right there three levels

And then a name that’s gonna be four levels right there easy whoops i got way more than four levels that’s my bad my bad entirely here we go right there mending that’s perfect production four i’m breaking three mending we need a name for them these things are called pants because well well

Because they’re pants all right real quick next let’s take care of the elytra that’ll be really really easy so on breaking three mending right there that’s all you can put on an elytra unfortunately and then a better name oh come on come on we already knew this was happening waddle wings right there

Waddle wings you know it’s like bad wings okay yeah all right so we have croc pants and then waddle wings and now we need diamond chest plate with mending on it and a better name for sure okay uh the name part that’s gonna be tricky so

I was thinking that because this is sort of like an off-white color you know it’s like blue it’s like an off-white color it’s not white so i think we’ll call this off-white finally finally last but not least in fact it’s probably best the helmet is really good helmets are

Usually my favorite i don’t know why but helmets right here we’ll go ahead and do that that’s going to be 14 levels or 16. always swap them around make sure you have things in the right order there we go though and then mending right there

And then a little bit more for a name so i was thinking that this helmet has you know like lots of diving enchantments on it and respiration aqua affinity so we could call it like scuba helmet or diving helmet that would be cool but then what if we gave it like

Personality so it would be like scuba helmet yep you guys like that so a better name a scuba helmet scuba that’s perfect and so just like that we have essentially the best set of armor possible in survival minecraft no glitches or anything like that but we are missing one big thing with

All the armor and chanting said and done out of the way there’s only one place left to go and that place is going to be down here at ancient debris city so problem i came down here oh one of these doors is missing i’m gonna have to replace that i put basalt

There for now but i’d like to show you my brand new ancient debris mine i just set this up so we have basalt going down here and a ladder going down here and then a room that’s it it’s the start of something great it’s time to mine ancient debris now

Thankfully in my stockpiles back up at the base i actually have uh four ancient debris waiting for me so i have enough for one piece of netherite we need three more pieces of netherite to complete the set get the armor good which means i need to do a lot of mining

We’re going to need to find it 12 pieces of ancient debris i hope this works out i i seriously seriously hope now a little problem right off the bat uh over here somewhere i maybe i actually filled it all in there was lava over there

I i guess i i guess i must have built it all in but there was lava so i think what i want to do is start by going this way now i’d like to leave this room alone a little bit so maybe we go out like this far i feel

Like this should probably be far i don’t think the room will get blown up maybe a little bit more put a bed right here back up a little bit we’ll put the cobblestone right there crouch and can we hit the bedroom here oh yes we can ancient debris

Let’s go we need 12 of the stuff please please please okay nothing it’s okay a false start perhaps it’s seriously okay i won’t hold it against you it does happen to be like that sometimes by the way we’re doing this ancient debris mining on why 14 in the nether let’s go ancient debris

This time come on come on come on uh lava that’s a problem for sure quartz It better be behind the lava it better be behind the lava that’s all i can say right now it’s gonna be behind the lava right right right right of course it will be yeah yeah yeah that’s that’s exactly what i meant it’s behind the lava the quartz i forgot to specify

Oh no wait no way it actually is behind the lava okay okay okay okay i didn’t i never meant quartz i was lying ancient debris right there that’s amazing i think that’s going to be two down which means only 10 left to go and we have so many beds by the way

All of the wool inside of the shelter box that is basically my entire stockpile of wool so yup it’s all or nothing hopefully we can find the ancient debris before the end of the stockpile i mean i saved the red wool because i’ve been trying disabled for a carpet in the

Storage building but there we go two ancient debris that’s the perfect start welcome to ancient debris city this is this is it big time so we’ll definitely be coming back down here later on and doing more ancient debris mining and when i do that i’ll kind of probably end up leveling this

Area out a little bit more but right now i need to conserve beds we need efficiency here so i’m spacing things out in hopes to actually hit only ancient every really no that’s annoying that’s annoying that’s annoying uh thankfully this armor though check this out we can just swim in this

And clog it up it’s gonna be oh oh there’s more there’s more yeah we have to clog this up yeah we can swim in it is what i’m saying if we’re careful we need to watch the health and and clog it up and then we can see what’s behind it oh

My god this is amazing this is amazing this is all i’ve ever asked for but actually you see technically we don’t have to swim in it always we can get it started and then just carefully place blocks carefully place blocks and not burn up not burn up be careful biggest news of

The day right here the job i think it’s been done now i don’t want to deal with that again because that absolutely ate through all of my food that was really really annoying we’re gonna need to be careful but ancient debris is sitting right in here now thankfully ancient debris won’t burn

Up so we can just mine it and we don’t really have to worry about it but i am going to build this platform right here to hopefully catch it all let’s start by taking out the blackstone clear this area out around it what are we gonna have two more

Two more is fine i’ll i’ll settle for two more that was a nightmare and i did it all oh no no three okay okay three maybe four nope nope don’t do it three three three five three is fine three is fine thank you very much lava

Just because i’m going to dig out with my pickaxe and hopefully maybe if i get lucky uh by chance i’ll i’ll actually end up finding even more ancient debris that would be pretty sweet bed sweet bed take me to debris town let’s go oh debris town debris city one two that’s amazing

That’s gonna equal that’s gonna equal seven now that is perfect is this like a chunk border aha it is chunk border chunk border okay cool cool that’s awesome that’s amazing this is perfect i i love debris tone this is a lot of courts honestly i should be taking the

Courts every single time i find it more lava up top though we’re gonna have to be careful time for another bed we’ll put the bed right there we stand back here one more back and then it’s explosion time let’s go bed more ancient debris no okay maybe not not this time anything

Anything more more it seems like i’m getting like lucky with the black stone like every single time it’s by the blackstone i’m fine with that that’s just weird oh how many only one ah only one but that means so now with eight ancient debris if we get really lucky

And find a solid chunk of four ancient debris then we’re done with the ancient debris mining and i’m still on the purple bets which is like perfect let’s go four ancient debris this time maybe four range of debris this time no okay a bunch of gravel you know what i

Have the shovel ready i might as well maybe i could dig through the gravel and find a bunch of ancient debris wouldn’t that be beautiful that would be perfect and look it i’m gonna have so much gravel to use after ancient debris come on please please work out please work out please

Work out it’s not gonna work it’s not gonna work it was worth a shot though okay all right so this is where it counts we’re down to the final three purple beds after that i’m going to have to break into another wool color won’t be a big deal

It seems that we’re gonna have enough beds to finish all of our mining today but hopefully we can finish it on the purple beds that’s one two more left all right here’s the second to last bed more okay okay and we have one left okay this is perfect this is perfect stay

Calm stay calm get rid of the lava let’s go get that ancient debris this is amazing this is perfect this is working out exactly as planned actually it’s working out way better than planned to be honest right here one two and then three okay so we’re gonna have one left

Only one more though that’s oh oh if you oh okay yeah yep yep okay okay okay okay this is fine this is fine we don’t need any more ancient debris after this we can go home but we’re gonna use that last purple bed up anyways we have it this is amazing 13

Ancient debris this is real right yeah okay that’s real that’s real okay okay we’ll put the bed right there i don’t even care about the level we’re on what level are we on we’re on 12 okay okay it’s fine it’s fine usually we’re on 14 for this stuff

But it’s cool stay calm okay we’re too close to the bed we’re too close to the bed it’s okay it’s okay this is amazing this is amazing there’s no more ancient debris it’s fine oh wait did i see ancient debris over here no no i saw another rack

It tricked me this is perfect this is amazing this is so perfect i’m so happy okay it’s time to get back to the base wow i mean seriously when debris mining goes like that it is literally my favorite thing in the world that was so easy

And i have so much wool left which is perfect we definitely need a wolf arm soon though for sure so we can get better stockpiles of things and then i could finish other projects things that i’ve been wanting to do for like a long time i just don’t have enough wool for

Wow though that seriously went so so well now it’s time to smelt up our ancient debris we’re actually going to have one extra which is perfect and then finish our best set of armor in the game we’ll just melt it up right here at the furnace

Usually i would do this at a blast furnace but it’s fine i actually don’t have a blast furnace in this building i think kind of crazy actually and for now we might as well take this armor set off because we don’t need it for now we’re going to put it back here i

Definitely plan on building an armory building later on in this world so we could put this armor because it is another ride i mean it’s so good we’re never gonna see it back here so eventually we’ll have an armory and the armory will have like a window and

We can show that off that’s the starter set of netherride armor it’s a good set it’s just not the set that we’re looking for we might actually though in the future if we need to take these leggings right there which brings me to the other leggings these leggings uh

Where did i put them i think i put them over here these leggings no no these leggings right there so we have the mending books lined up all that i need to do is put mending on these leggings which i can actually very very easily do extra anvil right

There mending over here on those and then mending over here on those but netherride so i don’t really plan on using these right now so we are actually going to take these and put them on one over here for now and then we’ll put the other one on the other side for now

Just have them on display and then we’ll worry about getting them to netherride later like when i have a ton of extra netherride all right and just like that right there 16 netherride scrap that’s perfect now back over to the enchanting building this is a special moment right here and it’s actually a

Pretty big moment i think this is the first time i’ve actually intentionally built the the best set of armor in survival minecraft in like a long long time so here we go this this this and that that stays there they’re elytra now upgrading time right here yeah this

Is going to be my first god tier of netherride armor the helmet right there scooter my boys cooper that’s perfect the off-white of course of course the crocs even the crocs need to be good buffed up and then finally the pants the good old trusty pants right there a full set of

The best armor in the game we’ll go ahead and put it on right now check that out that’s amazing and then the elytra it looks better than ever with unbreaking three now we can actually use this thing and soar around the world and not have to worry about the durability now when we

Take basically anything on we are going to be absolutely stacked and we can jump off of things and survive which is good we’ll swim around in the water really quickly which is good and soul speed that buff we could actually make a soul speed highway to wherever we need to go

And as long as we pay attention to the durability of these boots we’ll be good this smithing table right here is where we will make all of our netherite stuff going forward it’s a very special smithing table so with the armor maxed out all we’re going to need to start considering

Is the tools this pickaxe is amazing but the sword it could actually be better same with the axe same with the shovel but that’ll definitely be a project for another time comments of the daytime today’s comment of the day are fighting words mossy stone bricks don’t look good yeah my god that take
