In this video I’m going to show you how to install the vivecraft mod so you can elevate your Minecraft experience I’ve gotten a few questions about it so I wanted to run through my process for you guys just so you know I have all the links you need in the description Starting off you’re going to need a VR headset and some way to connect it to your PC as well as steamvr for this video everything I show will be done for Minecraft Java 1.19.3 and I’ll be using the fabric mod loader if you’re not sure what I’m talking about then keep Watching to get any mod working you’re going to need the Java and fabric installer if you already have these installed skip to the time listed but if you’re still here then start by clicking the link in the description it should take you to the site java.com and you Should see this download Java button right here click it and download it anywhere you’d want once that’s done downloading just open it up hit yes just hit install I’m just going to uninstall my old version all right and it’s usually done pretty quickly once that’s done you can just click close And then you can move on to the fabric part before you install fabric you want to open Minecraft once this is open we’re going to launch it in the version that we’re playing in just to make sure everything is initialized otherwise the Fabric’s installer won’t work just Select which version you’re on and hit play as soon as you’re load it in you can close the game and begin installing fabric alright now that Minecraft has officially opened we can just close it again and begin installing fabric once again click on the link in the description the one that says fabric Installer it’ll bring you to this website and just like Java hit the download button and open it up here so over here Minecraft version just change it to the one you’re using obviously we’re doing 1.19.3 loader version you don’t really need to worry about touching that unless you specifically need a different version And then hit create profile so you don’t have to create one yourself in Minecraft and hit install so once it’s done you can just close that out and then you’re going to want to come down and open Minecraft all right once you’re here click on this little button that should say latest release And look for your fabric loader version we’re in 1.19.3 and there’s nothing here so we’re going to go up here to installations hit new installation and then under version we’re going to find our fabric loader version looks like this one’s it 1.19.3 and then we can name it whatever We want I’ll name it doctor goop and then once you’re done with that you can create come back over to play hit the drop down menu find the one you just made mine’s all the way at the bottom which is beautiful click it although it won’t work yet this Is just the fabric loader this is so we can start installing mods pressing play will just launch the game normally if you want VR we’re gonna have to download two things first is the fabric API most mods use it so it is pretty much a requirement usually you’ll just come Down here on the right side there should be a file for the version you’re in and if you do find a mod that doesn’t have that just go to files and look for the one you need ours is up at the top here it’s a release so we just hit download Usually takes a few seconds this one do not open these jar files or mods that nothing will happen if you open it so now we’re going to do the same thing with five craft files download on the version you need all right so from here you’re going to need to get These jar files into your Minecraft mods folder if you don’t know where your Minecraft is saved at then what we’re going to do is hit the Windows button and R at the same time and in this menu here you’re going to type percent app data percent no spaces And just hit enter and it should bring up this make sure you’re in the roaming folder at the top you should see dot Minecraft and look for your mods folder if you don’t have one like I don’t hear come up here new folder and name it mods all lowercase Once that’s done you could just double click it and open it and we can start getting our mods over here so there’s two ways of doing this you can either directly download the mods into this folder if you know how to navigate to it or you can come back to Chrome hit the little arrow and hit show in folder once you have both these menus open side by side you can simply drag them over make sure it’s the fabric API and not the installer and the same with lifecraft now we can get ready to play VR don’t hit Play yet first make sure your VR is connected to your PC and you have Steve VR open once you’re loaded in on your VR then you can hit play five cops relies on steamvr and if you don’t do this first it can cause problems if you would like to change Between VR and non-vr there are two ways you can do it one of the ways is in the main menu of Minecraft you should see the survivecraft mode right now and we’re in non-vr if we click this it’ll change but we need to restart the second way is to go back to your Minecraft folder and locate the config file near the very bottom you should see vivecraft open it with Notepad and then change the argument from false to true or the other way around and then you can hit close and next time you open Minecraft it will launch in VR or non-vr Now you’re ready to Launch mcvr if everything is working and you want to install more mods it’s pretty much the exact same as installing Minecraft just be wary many mods are incompatible with vicecraft especially ones that change player models and animations however I did find some great mods to Make the plane and VR much more fun anyway that’s all you should need to know go enjoy your new Minecraft I do hope this video helped you get started well my name is goober until next time Video Information
