What’s going on, gamers? Today we are going to go over how to install and use the Crazy Enchantments Minecraft plugin. Before we get started, don’t forget to like, subscribe, and click that notification bell to stay up to date on all future videos. Enchantments are an everyday occurrence on a minecraft server and they really become a big focus after you move into the mid-to-late game. Whether you’re looking to increase your damage output, or just have high strength armor, enchanting is the way to go. But aside from the occasional enchantment added through updates, they tend to be really quite limited and repetitive. This is solved with Crazy Enchantments, a minecraft plugin that adds over 80 new enchantments of varying abilities. It is all random, But with the amount of options to gain, you’ll want to spend hours trying to get them all. But before we do that, we’ll need to learn how to install it, So let’s get started. Visit the Crazy Enchantments Spigot page and press the blue download Now button in the top right and then save this jar file to a safe location Since we’re going to need it again in just a minute. If you’re looking for older versions like 1.8.8 All the way up to 1.18.2, you ca download page, But keep in mind that these versions are no longer receiving updates, so it is recommended to stick to the latest release. Head to your Apex Server panel and stop the server, And then scroll down to the game files section and make sure you’re running a plugin compatible server like paper or spigot. Afterwards, enter the FTP file access in the left hand menu and then click the plugins folder and press upload in the top left, and on the next page you can drag and drop the plugins file into the right hand side. Once it has 100% uploaded, you can click your server name at the top of the page to return to the main panel where you can restart the server. Now when you first jump in, the first thing you’re going to want to do is use the /ce command from in g and that’s going to open a GUI m This is what you’re going to use for the majority of the plugins features, so I definitely recommend getting familiar with each section and of course what it does. The first step to using this plugin is going to be actually earning the enchantments. The three enchanted buttons in the lower section allow you to spend either 20, 40, or 60 experience levels respectively to earn common, rare, or legendary enchantments. These are quite expensive, but their potential abilities really kind of make up for the price. Now that you have those enchantments, you’re going to add them to the items. When you hover over an enchanted book, you are going to be able to see which item it can be placed on, as well as the chances for the various results. To add the enchantment, just pick up the book and then click on the desired item that you want to enchant. After that, one of three things is going to happen. Number one, obviously success, which means the enchant will be placed on the item with no issues. There is also failure, which is when the enchantment fails, causing you to lose the book, but keep the item and sadly destroy, where the enchantment fails, destroying both the book and the item at the same time. With so many enchantments to obtain and choose from, it can become difficult to keep track of all of your potential options. By pressing on the compass in the GUI, you’re going to open the enchantment info page where you’re going to see all of the enchantments for each tool. The black and white scrolls are a set of modifiers that directly affect your enchanted items. The Black scroll can be used to remove an enchantment from a tool, but the result is random and you don’t get to choose which one it is. The white scroll item adds protection to your tool, preventing it from being destroyed when you decide to add an enchantment to it. The other set of items is the magical angel dust, which will increase the success chance of an enchantment, and magical fixing dust, which decreases the chance of your item being destroyed. Similar to an anvil, the blacksmith section of the plugin is allowing you to combine various enchantments together. You can either add two books of the same type to increase its power, or you can merge two items together for their enchants. And of course, with the enchantments being completely random, you’re probably going to eventually get a surplus of books that you don’t really need. This is fixed with the Crazy tinkerer, which allows you to recycle your books into mystery dust. After making the trade, hold and right click the mystery dust and it will turn into either angel or fixing dust. Here is a list of commands that are going to come in handy when using this plugin, but keep in mind, you’ll only be able to use these if you have the correct permissions. This means opping yourself in the console or using a plugin Of course, there are many more than just this list, so be sure to check out the wiki page that will be linked down below. If the commands aren’t working, this might be because the server can’t actually find the plugin from in game. Make sure to use the forward slash plugins command and make sure the plug in shows up in green. If it shows up in red or if it doesn’t show up at all, then the plugin has not loaded correctly, and you want to make sure that it is in the plugins folder and that you are using the correct version. If your problem is that you’re getting a permissions error with the commands, then make sure your opped on the serv or make sure you are using a plugin like LuckPerms. If you can’t purchase scrolls or dust by default, the plugin uses an economy plugin like Vault in order to purchase these items with in-game currency. If you’re looking to change this, then you can visit the FTP file access and then head to plugins, Crazy Enchantments, and config.yml. Press Edit to the right of this and open the editor and you can scroll down to find the cost section. Under the desired items, change the currency from vault to XP_Level And then you can adjust the cost to what you’re looking for. Once that’s done, press save and restart the server. The random aspect of this plugin can definitely get frustrating at times since one of your goals is probably going to be getting every new enchantment offered, but I like to think of it as a good thing because that just means more time to play the game. That’s all for this one, gamers. As always, I hope you have lots of fun. Thanks for watching. If you want to see more great content like this, then subscribe, or click these videos.
