What’s up guys my name is deadpixel gaming and today i’m going to show you how to install vivecraft vr this is an application which is going to allow you to play minecraft in vr it works on any headset it’s a very simple process and i’m going to take you Through it all right now as you can see it’s got full hand tracking and you can use uh all the tools it’s the full game except you are immersed in the world of virtual reality which i have to tell you is an incredible experience especially at night time look at that sunset that’s So beautiful if this guide was useful for you please consider liking subscribing it would really help the channel out thank you very much so first and foremost you are going to need a copy of minecraft java you’re also obviously going to need a vr headset i’m using the oculus quest 2 but Most headsets will work as well as this you’re going to need steamvr which is a free application you can download directly through steam so here we are on my desktop the first thing we’re going to do is launch minecraft launcher once that’s launched we are going to go to installations and We are going to go to new installation um you can see i’ve already got my vr setup there but this is because i’ve done it before we’re going to set it up and we’re going to go all the way down to 16.5 now the reason why we need to go to 1.16.5 Is because that is the latest version of vivecraft which is currently working so let’s name this five craft push create and that’s done now what i’m gonna need to do is play it at least once and what it’ll do is as you can see the bottom it’ll install It’s already downloaded the copy for me because i’ve already done this but um it’ll install it now we can turn it off and continue with the rest of the installation process now the next thing we’re going to do is head over to vivecraft and their website and we’re going to go to downloads We’re going to scroll down and we’re going to go to 16 point x not 18.x over here we’ll choose this download it it’s the top file over here that you want to choose so that’s five craft 16.5 click that and it’ll install it as you can see i’ve already uh I’ve already installed it myself once i’ve done that i’m gonna run it and here we are now this is going to install it onto our pc now of course we want to make sure that we have uh minecraft and minecraft’s launcher not running at this current time we’re going to allocate ram i’ve Got 32 gigs of ram on my pc so i’m gonna allocate eight gigs um you can choose to install forge if you’d like or not forge just increases um sort of the apps that you can run with it or the mods to check around with it but we’re going to leave That for now with this all installed it should be fine just push install it’s going to once again tell you make sure that you don’t have minecraft launcher running push okay and you’re all set now the next thing you’re going to want to do is to turn on your headset so i’ve Turned on my oculus quest 2 and i’ve connected it to my pc via link or via airlink either will work once you’ve done that launch steamvr now i’m assuming that anyone who is watching this video will likely have steam there we are so now steamvr is connected to my uh oculus I’m gonna relaunch minecraft and already i can see vivecroft is there and it is installed so when i go ahead and push play what it’s going to do is it’s going to launch minecraft in vr it’s really that simple and here we are guys back in the world Of vr minecraft please drop a comment in the comment section if you had any queries or questions about how this was done and as always if you like this please give us a subscription it would really help us out thank you very much see you later [Applause] Video Information
