How to Join a FACTION (Hypixel Skyblock Nether Update)

Hey what is up guys it is me banana and i’m here with a guide on the crimson isle alpha today i’m going to tell you how to join a faction because joining a faction is a very important part of the crimson aisle update if you didn’t know

There are two factions on the entire island the barbarians and the mages and you’re able to get reputation and level them up in order to do something such as get cool loot or craft some of the minions because you need reputation in the faction to do that so i’m gonna go

Through how you can get started with your faction quest and if this helps you out i’d really appreciate a like or a subscription because you know i went and got this info got the recording out and i’d really appreciate it so let’s get into the guide to start your quest

Towards getting a faction you have to talk to elle she’s right at the entrance of the nether she’s very easy to find and she’s gonna ask you to get some materials you have to get spectre dust magma chunks and blaze ashes these can be found pretty much right around the

Fortress she’s gonna walk you over towards where the magma chunks are they’re gonna come from those big magma cubes the spectre dust is a little bit higher in the fortress and the blazes are in another spot in the fortress and they’re just gonna drop their materials pretty rarely and you gotta bring them

Back to l and she will be happy about that el then goes on to explain the lore about the island talks about how there used to be a bunch of farmers here and just a whole lot of stuff about the lore they’re really going in on everything there and then she’s basically gonna

Tell you to go and explore the island the next step of this quest is actually going to happen at one of the two faction bases which are on the two opposite ends of the island on the east and west however you want to look at it

The right and left sides of the island i got mine at the mage area but it may happen to you whenever you go to the barbarian area and l will show up once again when i went over to the mages area in their community center it then

Had l pull me over and say hey you can’t just talk to the queen you can’t go up there there are two different factions and there are incredible tensions between them she then tells you that you have to get to know the factions and earn their favor before you’re actually

Able to join them so she tells me before i choose a faction i then have to talk to four specific people from each of the two factions this part was actually pretty annoying because it doesn’t really tell you super well where the people are the barbarian

Guys were right next to each other but when i was looking for the guys in the mage area it was kind of tough because you have to do four specific ones they have a green little sparkly glow above their head and once you get them you’re

Then able to go and talk to elle once again so i’m gonna show you the locations of the guys that i found but just know they’re kind of spread out in the mage area so you may have to be looking for a bit just look for the little green sparkles over their head

L is then gonna show up after you talk to all the villagers and she’s gonna tell you that you can now choose a faction choosing a faction is not actually going to let you be able to join them you’re just gonna be able to prove your worth to them afterwards so i

Chose the mage faction as my first one because mages on top who cares about some dumb pig barbarians mage is cool so i joined that and i’m gonna show you how to gain favor with the mage faction right now el is going to give you a maddox bat

Phone because the mages are very interested in these phones that is a technology that they really like and the maddox bat phone is a very simple version of their abbey phones is what they’re called so they’re gonna have you go and talk to the dean of the mage

Academy and show him the phone to get recommended to join the mage faction so you’re gonna make your way all the way over to the cathedral i’m showing gameplay of me running there right now i am teleporting but once you get the vibe of the island a little bit you’ll be

Able to teleport around just like i am here and the dean’s office is going to be off to the right up here and bada bing bada boom there is the dean you’re gonna give him the abbey phone and he is going to give you a recommendation to join the mages You then have to bring the letter over to the queen it’s actually really cool doing this quest because it’s very unique compared to other things in skyblock you gotta show items to people you gotta click on things in chat but you’re gonna see you give her the letter of recommendation and she’s basically

Going to say okay you’re able to join the mage faction that is all you have to do to join the faction there is a further quest in the mages to actually like get an abbey phone and do a bunch of stuff like that but as far as i can tell right now that

Quest is not working because i have bought many different abbey phones i bought even the most expensive one for like 95 million coins and it did not progress the quest but that is how you join the faction and you can now gain reputation for the mages the way that

You gain reputation is by either doing these daily quests there are rescue missions that seem to also not be working wanted missions where you got to hunt down mini bosses or bosses or just different enemies dojo where you got to do a whole different thing in the dojo

Give mage reputation and a little bit of materials and the other way of getting mage reputation is by doing the main quest line and by completing the mini bosses that are all around the area i killed the mage outlaw with a group and we got like 20 mage points so yeah that

Is how you’re going to be able to join the mage faction i apologize that i did not go and do the barbarian faction but i did just want to get a video out on generally how to join the faction i’d assume that once you get to that step
