Do you want to play servers on minecraft playstation 4. in this video i’m going to show you how so for this you need to be on the version of minecraft which is just called minecraft so not the one under the additions button just a version that’s called minecraft It will have a main menu screen that looks something like this but if you are watching this in a future update the background for this main menu might be different but as long as it has just a minecraft logo then you are finding you’re on the right version Then what you’ll need is you need to have a playstation plus subscription so you need to be a playstation plus subscription to play minecraft online both on worlds and on servers and if you’re not one unfortunately you can’t do this and then also you need to make a microsoft account so you might Already have a microsoft account if you do you can just use that account if you don’t then you need to create one so on minecraft for the playstation 4 you should see a sign in button and it will allow you to sign in with your microsoft account or to create one if You don’t already have one now i am recording this on the windows 10 version of minecraft because i don’t have a playstation 4 and also it’s a lot easier to record on windows 10 however this does work on the playstation 4 and i have got Someone to test it this is how you do it on the playstation 4 as well as it’s pretty much the same as the windows 10 version you just need playstation plus as well so to be able to play servers what you want to do is you want to go to the minecraft screen Again you need to be on the minecraft editions once you’ve logged into your microsoft account if you haven’t already then you need to do that and then you hit the play button and as you can see it’ll bring up the screen with all your worlds and all your different stuff that You can do here you can create a new world you can plan all the existing world but if you want to play servers you want to go to the tab that says servers along the top so you’ll see that you have three different tabs here so you have one that says Worlds and this has the amount of worlds you have as well and then you have one here that says friends which is where you can play with online friends on worlds and if you want to play servers you want to click the servers button right here Now this will allow you to view all of the different servers that you can so as you can see it shows all of the servers that you can play and you can play the featured servers on the playstation 4. now unfortunately you can’t add more servers on the playstation 4 Using this because there is no ability to do that due to console limitations so as you can see i can’t use this add server button on the playstation 4. it’s not going to be there for you it’s there for me but it won’t be there for you you won’t Have this button and again i’m recording this on windows 10 as it is easier but on the playstation 4 you won’t have this button here so you can’t add more servers unfortunately but you will have access to these featured servers so let’s click on mineclex for an example here And as you can see it will save the server name it will say the amount of players online and it will also say the ping of the server now you will also be able to see screenshots of the server as well as information about it or a description And then available game modes that you can use and play as well and if you continue to scroll down after you’ve seen the game modes and the game modes that you can play then you will be able to see news and changes for servers as well so for the server What’s new what’s changed and all different news about the server once you’re all ready to play on a server you simply can click on the join button so i’m going to click the join server here and then it will load the server for you so this will work for you on the Playstation 4. if you do have any issues or need any help with this do let me know in the comment section down below as you can see there’s other players around i am on a server and this will work for you as well on minecraft playstation 4. thank you very much for watching And goodbye Video Information
