Hello everyone, this is CowCapz, and today I’m going to be showing you how to make a light switch in Minecraft. Sounds fun! anyways Let’s start off with some white concrete, for that will be what I’m using for the walls and the roof of the build You can use whatever you want. So, like if you have a wooden house You might want a wood wall. I’m going to be using white concrete just for demonstration purposes. And let’s say we have a wall in our house kind of like this. What I prefer doing is putting this in the corner of the house, for the light switch. I don’t want to poke out this side of the wall or it’ll be noticeable. So I prefer having everything compacted inside the house. Here’s what it’ll look like… something like this. So what you’ll do now is place a lever here. Go inside this little two by… two by one I guess… And the light switch is right in the middle of these three blocks right here. So, we’re going to place a block right here. Right outside where the lever is and place redstone dust on it. Let’s turn this lever on that way. We can see where we’re going. We’re going to stack it up. Place another redstone dust get a quartz slab right here and place more redstone dust And continue until you reach the top of the building, which I just have Now that you’ve done that you should grab your roof, which I already have. This is my roof right here Is not getting in the way the redstone at all so let’s say I finish the roof right now And Now we gotta decide where I want to place the lights, somewhere where the redstone can reach of course. So I’m going to place them right here probably place some more right here kind of have to go through or something and AND There we go Now that we got that done we can go up here with the redstone dust and Connect this to the redstone lamps If you are low on redstone and the redstone dies out through time, you can grab a redstone repeater to charge it back up so it can bring out more energy. That’s better for bigger rooms in your house, by the way So if you have a small house Then you should be fine i’m going to finish this wall for the house and then i’m going to show you how this will function All right, the lights are on so far you see it’s already brightening the place up pretty much if I turn this off It’s pretty dark in here See on on off on there we go. And that’s just about how it goes. We all know how this went. I just taught you how to do it.
