How To Make Concrete In Minecraft

In this video i’m going to show you how to make concrete in minecraft this will allow you to craft concrete powder and then change that concrete powder into concrete so first of all i’m going to show you how to craft a concrete powder and i will

Also show you how to change it into the concrete as well so what you want to do is go to a crafting table now for this you’ll need four bits of gravel and four bits of sand so i’m going to take the gravel first of all and you

Want to place the gravel anywhere in the crafting grid it doesn’t matter where as this crafting recipe has no shape so it can be anywhere you want it to be so i’m going to go ahead and place for gravel and i’m going to do the same for sand as well because you

Need full gravel and four sand for this crafting recipe then what you need is the die of your choice so in this case i’m gonna go for white but you could use any type of dye you want to depending on the color you want so let’s

Go for white dive i place one white dye in the middle here but i will get a concrete powder and this is white concrete powder because i chose the white dye it depends what die you choose to what color you’ll get so if i use the yellow dye i’d get yellow concrete powder

Now with this concrete powder you can change it into concrete but what you need to know is that the concrete powder basically acts like sand so it has gravity like so the concrete itself won’t though so the concrete powder will have gravity the concrete won’t and to simply change this into normal

Concrete you need to make it touch water now you can do many different designs for this i’ve seen people use pistons or use really complicated machines however if you want to do it really simply just get yourself some water and make the concrete touch it so this is an

Infinite water source i decided to make and if i make this drop down it will change into concrete and then if i mine this it will be normal concrete rather than concrete powder now as you can see the concrete itself doesn’t have gravity it’s just a block

And it’s not a concrete powder anymore and you can do the same for any type of concrete powder as well any color it will do the same thing so if i change this orange bit i can then break it and i get orange concrete instead of concrete powder

And again you can have really cool machines to be able to do this you can make this really efficient this is just the most simple form but you can do it a lot more efficient than this if you want to you know you could stack stuff

On top of each other make it so that it changes as soon as it touches water or do whatever you want to do whatever you want to do to be able to make the concrete but that is the mechanic of how you do it you just need to touch water

It’s up to you how automated you make that or how complex you make that or how much you do at once but it’s really simple really easy to change into concrete powder and this is one of the best looking blocks in the game in my opinion it’s one of the most useful
