Hello everyone littlest here and welcome back to another awesome youtube video in today’s video i’m going to be teaching you how to make a custom totem texture pack with your minecraft skin for minecraft bedrock edition but before we get started make sure to hit that like button and subscribe because that helps Me out a lot we are trying to get to 1 000 subscribers we are not too far away also make sure to join my discord servers which we’ll be doing below but that is enough rambling on and let’s get started so if you want to make your own custom totem texture pack As you can see here i have a zip file so the first thing you want to do is go down to the description you know maybe subscribe while you’re down there and go to the mediafire link i will have it marked as download you can go here and then you Will want to download i’ve already downloaded it but once you download it drag it over to your desktop and then you’ll want to extract it to wherever so just like uh extract all there we go if i know how to use file explorer that could be Helpful and as you can see that’ll pop up over here okay now with this you want to open this up so basically textures that is where all of that is where the totem can be found pack icon that is what shows up in the settings tab is same as the image on Screen now that’s kind of where it shows up at and then manifest.json that is where all of the information for the description of the pack the name of the pack and some other stuff can be found there so the first thing you want to do is textures Items and then you want to obviously get your minecraft skin however you do that i’m using an app called paint.net so let’s open up here Then you will want to drag over or you want to get your minecraft skin doesn’t matter how you do it and then you’ll just want to if you’re using paint down obviously if you’re using a different editing software you can do that so you’ll want to add A layer and then paste onto your skin you can leave this one back here as you’re trying to get the scaling right i think this scaling looks the best is it’s kind of small but not too small and yet not too big so then once you’re done Pasting on the top layer you can just do that and then file save so that’s basic so that is the skin itself you can actually use any image if you don’t want to use your skin if you just want to use whatever and then pack icon you can do whatever with that In your editing software right now it’s just like a gray black kind of fade thing but now the important stuff manifest.json so you want to load this up into whatever you use it can be a text editor or it can be something more advanced like visual studio code that is What i am personally using as there’s a tool in it um uui d generator which is very nice so as you can see here i kind of like this so i can kind of explain everything so you have the format everything so just ignore everything description so Right here subscribe to little c great advice but you can put whatever that’s the description name that’s the name okay now you will want to go over to your browser again and open up online uuid generator tool okay i will have the link in the description Below so you want to go down to bulk version for your uid generator and go up to two k then you generate and then you want to copy the top one go back to visual studio code okay and then delete and paste and then you want to get the second one This is just replacing it and then you can have multiple like packs it’s pretty nice you do want to do this for every single time you change the pack and then versions i leave that all the same and then this description on the second part does not matter at all i Don’t think you can really see this but i just put whatever i put the same thing as i put at the top description and a lot of pack makers do and then in game engine you want to keep the same everything you really want to keep the same besides the uuid’s name and Description okay then you want to go to file and then save or however you do it in your text editor so then we will go back to here and that’s it so i’ll show the pack icon real quick just to show you if you wanted to do anything in paint.net how i Do it personally so i just have this nice fade so you could use let’s say what’s a good color let’s just go with like blue kind of color scheme and then i just use the gradient tool to kind of do something nice like that and then usually i’ll overlap be like a Logo or something like that on top and then i use the text or maybe put in some text well that is completely your own choice if you’re just using this for yourself it really does not matter and if you’re using it as a private pack but that is everything it’s really that Simple so you will want to do this take all of this and then wait my computer is slow okay then send to and send to compressed zipped folder here you want to put in your name this really doesn’t matter either but this is gonna be uh oh This this is just the name of the pack this doesn’t matter either if it’s private because you really won’t see this besides the file itself which if you are putting it on mediafire or some other way and giving it to other people you may want to change that so they know What it is okay next you want to go make sure when you’re in file explorer go to view and then make sure that you have item uh make sure you have hidden items and file name extensions mainly just file name extensions is all you really need but hidden items is nice that really Does not matter though file name extensions that’s what you need okay you want to then go here rename and take out the dot zip and put mc pack okay and this will pop up if you change the file name extension you the file might become unusable are you sure you want to Change it click yes okay and then to import it into minecraft all you have to do is double tap it i will have a screenshot on screen now of what it looks like in game but yeah so hopefully this video did help you out if it did like subscribe that helps me out And yeah also if you guys want to see a tutorial for java edition with these totems make sure to tell me
