So basically how these ghost blocks work or that they use a falling block that doesn’t actually fall so if we sum in a falling block right now right at these locations and then we do no gravity equals one and time equals one it will stay on For 30 ticks or 30 seconds or something like that and so it’s just in the air and you can actually walk through it so that’s sand so if you do like if you summon right here like right here for example if yeah this is this is actually how they make cursed Images in minecraft they literally just use falling blocks and so basically you can like walk through them and all that stuff and so this is going to be the base on how we create these uh blocks these ghost blocks now these things do despawn just as you saw right there These one these ones will soon follow so what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna be using a spawn egg as our ghost block so you may be asking why you would use a spawn egg well because for some reason you can’t detect when you place a block so give at a Or at p we’re going to do a silver fish spawn egg it doesn’t matter it could be a villager or anything it’s not gonna mess up anything in like the regular vanilla minecraft mechanics and then we’re gonna do here is you want to have those curly brackets which give the Nbt so like right there we’re gonna name it so we’re gonna display we’ll put display and then colon and then another curly bracket and here we’ll do name and then we’ll do two um of those apostrophe so it does that and we do text and then ghost block You can do that and then you do comma italic italic equals false so what that does is that so if i give myself a oak button it will give me uh a ghost block well it’s not going to give me a ghost block it’s just going to Give me something with the name ghost blocking you summon it it has the name ghost block but doesn’t matter kill a type of silver fish alright so basically what we’re going to do now is we’re going to add a new an entity tag and this thing identifies the Uh silverfish as a ghost block so we’re going to do entity tag and then we’re going to do another curly brackets so after you put entity tag remember to put these as capital because most of these nvts don’t work without them okay and then the next thing you’re going to need is You’re going to put this tags tags and then you’re gonna do square bracket this time and this is like the variable and then do new or any other um you could do any tag you want so you could do like ghost or something so i’m just going to Do new just to keep these simple so now when we do ghost block when we summon it it has the name ghost block but when you kill it it will kill by then the tag ghost block so tag equals new and it kills that thing so this silverfish is going to be The base for our ghost block so what we’re going to do is we’re going to get a repeating command block and we’re going to do execute at e tag equals um we’ll put new so that’s the and then type equal type equals silverfish what it does is it uh Finds the coordinates of the um silverfish that has the name ghostblock and basically what’s going to do is it’s going to align y and so basically what that does is i’m going to summon a uh falling block all right so summon falling falling block and at those positions at that position using tildas And we’re gonna do nbt and so the nbt is going to be like all the stuff first of all we’re going to do no gravity 1b and then time 1b and so basically that’s going to be kind of what we’re going to use and then this is the chain command block We’re going to do um kill at e type silverfish tag noon so this one just kills it so it doesn’t spawn multiple so if you see here right now if we put this to always active we summon it right here this is the falling block it’s actually ghost block you see You can’t put anything inside though like something like this and um it’s kind of broken not gonna lie you can you can walk through it and so that’s actually kind of basically most of the um ghost block but it’s going to uh yeah see it’s going to despawn So what you’re going to do is you’re going to need to keep resetting it to the you’re gonna keep resetting the timer so it never despawns so before we do that we’re gonna go back here and we’re gonna give this a tag so tags equals ghost and basically it Just gives the ghost tag now we’re gonna be using that to reset the timer and so we’re going to go to this we’re going to go another chain command block we’re going to do execute as at e tag equals ghost all right and so it’s going to execute as like it’s Running the function and do run data merge entity at s because at s is the the one that’s currently running the command and we’re just gonna do time equals one v so it keeps resetting the time if we summon it it’s just never gonna die the next command is To actually kill one we’re gonna do over here we’re gonna kill it with a diamond pickaxe for example so you since you can’t mine it since it’s like a yeah invisible thing we’re gonna make you drop it and yeah that’s how we’re gonna do it so execute as E tag equals ghost at s so so it’s gonna it’s gonna execute the command as each ghost block at its coordinates if there’s an entity uh at e nearby so we’re gonna do uh distance equals two so that’s two dots and then we’re gonna do 0.5 so it’s three dots like that And so it’s anything up to 0.5 and then we’re gonna do limit one so it’s only uh it only has there’s only one that can be that and we’re gonna do type equals item and so basically what that does is that if it’s an item it will kill itself But and then we’re gonna do the end and we’re going to do this we’re going to do nvt so it gets to specific nvt and we’re going to do item and then id equals diamond x count equals 1b and then we do run tag at s Add dead and basically what it does is that the ghost block uh gets a new tag called dead if there’s a diamond pickaxe up to half a block away and so now we’re gonna make it drop the ghost block so this thing right here we’re gonna make it drop this once we Mine it with a diamond pickaxe and so what we’re gonna do is um we do execute at e tag equals dead so once there’s a there’s a um a falling block that’s that has the tag dead we do run summon item and then we get the chords because it’s at and we Get the nbt tag which is going to be item and then we do uh so this is basically like giving yourself an item and then we do item id equals minecraft fish spawn egg all right and then we’re going to do count 1b Tag equals display equals and then name so this basically gives gives the text and then uh text ghost block e tattalic equals false and so after you given the name there’s gonna be four there’s gonna be like a lot of um curly brackets so right after this Uh apostrophe you’re gonna go to this one you’re gonna do that entity tag and then we’re gonna go here and do another curly brackets and do tags equals and then new and that’s that’s basically it and yeah it does summon the item but we want to kill the ghost block As well so it doesn’t start infinitely summoning items so we’re just going to do kill at e tag equals dead for some reason when you throw this it doesn’t actually kill itself so if you go to this this this and this one the fourth one It’s going to be like this so what you want to do is you want to put quotes and then what you want to do is you want to do minecraft and then that’s it just do that and now when you throw this it should drop yeah Just like that so now when you do this you throw it it now kills the item it kills the falling block and drops the ghost block again well that’s basically it guys hope you enjoyed this quick man tutorial and yeah i’ll see you later Video Information
