Minecraft Xbox 360 edition holds a special place in my heart Not only was it the first edition that I ever played it might have been the first edition that you ever played unfortunately it was discontinued after the Aquatic update however there may be still a way to recreate it In modern versions of Minecraft in order to make Minecraft look like the Xbox 360 edition we’re going to need to install two mods a Shader pack and a resource pack I’m going to be using the curse forged launcher but you can use the regular installation of Minecraft with Forge 1.16.5 installed you can find that in the link in the description the first thing that you want to do is Click create custom profile you’re going to want to name it whatever you want but I’m going to be naming it Legacy console switch the version to 1.16.5 and set it to forge You’re going to click create but since I already have a profile created I’m just going to use it we’re going to click add more content we’re going to search for console experience we’re going to navigate down here and we’re going to click install once it’s installed we’re also going to Need to install OptiFine navigate to the link in the description below where it says OptiFine or you can search OptiFine in your search bar once you’re at optifine.net click downloads click show all versions scroll down until you see 1.16.5 click download Once the ad is done you Can skip it and click download once it’s finished downloading drag it into your mods folder navigate to your resource packs area and since this resource pack is on Planet Minecraft and not curse Forge we need to go to Planet Minecraft to install the resource pack once you’re on Planet Minecraft click this all Subjects button and click on texture packs great once you’re on the texture packs Page search Legacy Edition it should have this thumbnail YJ Studios and it should be Legacy Edition this texture pack is by lion once you’re on this page click download it will prompt you that you are about to leave Planet Minecraft and enter a third-party website click continue once you’re on this page don’t click anything except this download button it should say download 54.39 megabytes click download it once it is finished downloading drag it into your resource packs folder click on the link in the description to find this YouTube page this Minecraft mod allows you to change the Hue saturation brightness and contrast of your game which is essential for recreating the Minecraft console edition look and feel click download once you’re here you should be able to download it now you can launch your game once Minecraft is Done loading click options resource packs and enable the resource pack if it gives you this error message just click yes and it should work fine once it’s loaded you should see this this is pretty much the console edition except it’s too vibrant first of all you want to click help and options video Settings shaders open the shaders folder drag in the shaders that we downloaded earlier go back to Minecraft and enable them this should reload your Minecraft once it’s finished loading we want to click this button down here that says Shader options we’re going to change the contrast to 0.4 we’re going to change The saturation to 0.4 we’re going to click done once it’s done loading have fun experiencing this nostalgia Foreign Foreign Video Information
