In this video I’m going to show you how to master place blocks in Minecraft hello my name is Dan or via command if you don’t miss out on future minecraft videos please hit that subscribe button now so this is basically like the slash slash your place world or the command Button vanilla minecraft bedrock edition okay so first of all what you want to do is you want to go to the area that you want to replace a block of so in this example I’m going to be replacing cobblestone with planks and then you want to mark out four corners so you Want to go to one corner first of all and you need to go to either the highest or the lowest points so we’re gonna go to the highest point over here now you need to have coordinates enabled so that you know the coordinates that you are You then want to type the command slash fill and then followed by the coordinates of where you’re currently standing so they go there the coordinates I have right now if you’re under Windows 10 version you can just press the tab button twice and it will fill out each coordinate for you and Then you want to go to the other side so if you had a top point you want to go to the lowest point and if you’re at the lowest point you want to go to the highest point and then you want to load back up that command so you want to Press the chat button again and then you want to press the up a low or whatever button is to go to your previous typed message so in this case it is going to be the upper but for some of you will be d-pad or B whatever it is on your Platform and then you want to type the second law– coordinates or if you want to if it’s easier you can just go ahead and type a tilde or if retailers to market out to the coordinates you currently are at or you can type in the coordinate value if you want to you even Want to type of name or the block D you want to replace that with so in this case we’re gonna go for planks and then the data value so data values work is a basically the value of that ID so if I wanted to for example have oak planks it Would be zero if I wanted to have birch planks it would be two so we’re gonna go for birch planks in this example you don’t want to type to a place and you want to type in the name of the block that you currently have so in this case Two cobblestone and then the ID of the block that you currently have so in this case zero and as you can see if I press ENTER it will go ahead and replace two cobble stone with the birch planks so if I wanted to do any difference data value instead of birch planks I could have sages zero and it’d be oak planks for example now a couple of tips I would recommend you do is I first of all recommend you mark out of the areas that you are so it makes you have a clear understanding of which corner you’ve done especially for large Builds and also if you are not on the Windows 10 version you can’t just go ahead and tab I would recommend that you do it through writing down the coordinates somewhere so that you know what the coordinates exactly for each corner but if you’re on the Windows 10 Version you can just have the coordinates so I’m gonna show you this again with another example so we’re gonna change this birch into something else so I’m gonna go here and then I’m going to go ahead and try this again but I’m going to show you a different Example we’re going to keep planks we’re gonna do a different a plank so let’s go planks again and then we’ll we’ll have a zero so we’re gonna change this into oak planks look over place we’ll go planks and then we’ll go ahead and type two which is the current value of birch Planks and as you can see these will now change into oak planks so you can go ahead and change them one day a value to another date about you and also you might have other blocks here as well so let’s go ahead and place down some cobblestone mixed around here too and if I have these blocks here as well as long as I don’t go out of the coordinates I’ve selected it will keep these when it changes something else so we’re gonna change the oak planks back to birch planks here and it will keep the other blocks aren’t the planks that which want To change so let’s just change that one to zero and then we’ll go through to the other one and we’ll change it to two so there you go that’s two and it will change these back to birch but it will keep a cobblestone because the cobblestone is another block we selected Hopefully this was helpful let me know in the comment section down below if you need help or have any questions and I’ll see you all later good bye Video Information
