Hey guys it’s prime square from Taipei and today I’m gonna show you how to play cross-platform on minecraft with your best friends so to do this you’re gonna need to use the bedrock version of Minecraft and what that is is the one that runs on the Switch the iPad iOS Windows 10 not the Java computer version but the Windows 10 one from the Windows 10 store and all of those type of stuff so in order to play a cross-platform you have to run bedrock the bedrock Edition server on your minecraft server so you can only play With other people on the bedrock edition you cannot play with people that are playing the Java edition of Minecraft on the computer they have to be using bedrock so the first step we’re gonna do is go to your control panel and you’re going to go down to where it says server Type and we’re gonna select that and then we’re gonna need to find it where it says a bedrock so we’re just going to scroll down real quick and here better-off Edition and then we’re gonna select auto-updating and then we recommend pocket mine – MP it’s this the version that we recommend because it’s What most people use and everyone’s familiar with and it works the best and then we’re just going to do the latest stable build because we want to play the latest version of minecraft bedrock edition so and then once we select that we’re going to click on save and then Once it’s saved we’re gonna need to restart our server so that it can install the dot far which is just like the jar but for a different coding language because Java is Java and whatnot and so once it’s done restarting as we can see we’re gonna need to copy Our IP this is the IP you’re gonna hand over to your friends and they’re gonna type it in on their iPads and then we’re gonna test it out on the windows 10 version of minecraft and so I’m gonna open this up and it’s gonna be the same Exact process across your iPad and iOS and Android device as it is on the windows 10 version because they’re the same they’re the same version of Minecraft so we’re gonna click on Play we’re gonna go to servers and we’re gonna click Add server and then you’re Gonna type in your server name so shop byte you don’t have to type in chocolate we’re gonna type in shock bite and then you’re gonna type in your server IP and do not type in the port in this area just your plain server IP and then You’re gonna type in the port down where it says support then you’re gonna click Save or play I already have it in my list so I’m gonna scroll down to where it says it right there and then once we see the generating world locating server we know that it’s going awesome and this Is exactly want to see so this is how you play cross-platform with your best friends on minecraft so I can be playing on the computer while they’re playing on their awesome brand new iPad pro if you have any questions please do not hesitate to head over to shock quite Calm and send us a ticket or even better go down into our comment section and just leave it there and we’ll reply as soon as possible anyways thank you for watching Video Information
