Mind manor he’s an absolute god across the board in almost all game types of pvp from pot pvp in 1.8 to crystal in 1.9 plus this man has grown a ton in the pvp community for his absurd consistency and dominance in many different game types let’s get started right away Starting off with 1.8 let’s first look at his rod skills specifically for build uhc one thing you’ll notice right away is how well he uses the rod as both a way to actually set up combos as well as a threat to set up future combos when You’re as good as mind manner most of the time you won’t miss your rods which means keeping your rod reeled in is actually a huge threat as the enemy can’t w key into you reliably as you’ll just set up a free rod trick or get a quick opening combo i really love this Niche play here where he baits his enemy with the water on one side of these blocks before pushing around on the other side catching them off guard the same strat can be done with the rod itself where you just cast it on one side of the wall and then push on the Other side to surprise your enemy as i’ll get to later mine manor is really good at keeping his eyes up for optimal reach and fights but because build kits always tend to have lava he usually aims slightly downwards in uhc if he’s in a trade or aiming the lava if you ever Played valorent or literally any shooter there’s this concept of crosshair placement where you basically line up your crosshair where your enemies should end up being so you don’t have to flick or move your mouse to kill them here mine manor uses this exact same principle by aiming more towards the Ground so whenever he’s in a trade or intends the lava he basically already has it lined up and can get an easy lava bucket instead of having to flick down and then flick back up to place it watching him play on mineman club is super satisfying because of how in Control of his enemy he is one thing i don’t think i’ll ever be able to comprehend with my small cow brain is how the hell he just maintains his enemy at this perfect distance so he can always combo them he’ll rot his enemy multiple times in a row sort of stun Locking them till the exact right moment where he can start a combo or land a rod trick lots of top uhc players are extremely good at this but it’s so cool specifically for mind manor because he doesn’t even specialize in build uhc at least not anymore also mind manner Recently has hopped on this trend of bow boosting it’s literally existed for years because of invaded kits and people just experimenting in general but for some reason it’s been recently taking over the meta on a bunch of game types even if the bow doesn’t have punch too Basically all you have to do is aim up slightly hold w and then press right click for a tiny bit you can use it to dodge a rod and get right in someone’s face or you can use it to close the gap and hit someone when they go to heal It’s a pretty simple strat that has a lot of utility if done right sometimes what mind manner will do when he’s a reasonable distance from his enemy is he’ll start eating a gap baiting his enemy to push him for a rod trick he then immediately cancels eating the gap And ron’s himself which will give him the chance to kill them or set up a combo in uhc whoever is pushing or holding w towards the enemy is almost always at a big disadvantage as the person pushing cannot effectively rot them as they would just end up going Farther away which doesn’t help comboing while the person being pushed has an easy shot to set up a free rod trick or combo them away as they add the proper spacing this is why if you play a lot on practice servers you’ll occasionally see some random dudes that just hold s and Rod spam for like 15 minutes and the moment you try to address them they immediately gain the advantage and just roll you just because they’re losers by pretending the gap your enemy will push you and you can use this exact same principle and cancel halfway through to Rod them and potentially kill them this strat is a lot less toxic though so i would highly recommend learning this as it’s pretty simple to learn and can be really effective next let’s look at pot pvp another big game in his repertoire i mentioned this in literally every video But please keep your aim up it’s such a bad habit that literally everyone has me included but you gotta keep your aim at head level or exactly parallel to the ground when the terrain is flat i’m tired of explaining it but basically all your hits come from the middle of your Face so lowering or raising your crosshair above the zero degree angle again which is exactly parallel to the ground reduces your reach just slightly because basic trigonometry i don’t care enough to explain it’s literally middle school math guys i’m i swear you guys should know this anyway i know you guys Are awkward as hell in real life and struggle to make eye contact with people for more than a couple seconds but if you want to aim like mind manner keep eye contact with your enemies despite the urge you get to look and run away alright now that i gave you proper Advice for getting a girlfriend back to minecraft mind winner also loves one cps combos or combos where you time each click for exactly half a second by the way if it’s done frame perfect it’s actually exactly 2 cps but 1 cps sounds better for the video so just don’t Snitch on me losers the basic idea of this combo is that cps doesn’t really matter once you’ve already hit your enemy before you seriously don’t need the extra clicks once you already have them locked in a combo half the clicks are just cosmetic and do nothing since You’re clicking on them while they can’t even take damage anyway by the way there are tons of ways to combo like this personally i really suck at timing the hits every half second so i just do short bursts of jitters personally it’s easier for me and i think practicing Perfectly time clicks or timed bursts of clicks are both viable options for learning this type of combo another thing that mind manor is really good at is this jump resetting or jump cancel technique i don’t think many knew about it until recently when mind manner made A video on it that blew up but the basic idea is to jump exactly when you get hit this will lead you to taking really strange kb almost taking no kb at all it’s a really cool tech that i think more people should hear about especially Since mind manner made a video on it but i don’t see it being used too often in pvp since it seems incredibly hard to time plus just turning and running like a loser is probably easier and better anyway it definitely has potential as it can lead to countering combos since Obviously it’s very unexpected to suddenly jump on someone without taking any kb mid combo but i fear that if it were to become mainstream most sweats would on it harder than hit selectors in sumo since it’s sort of a cheesy strat aside from all this there Isn’t much to say he just holds really clean combos he has really good aim and amazing movement now that we’ve gone over 1.8 let’s look at 1.9 plus styles of pvp firstly with just sword mind manor is extremely confident overall a common misconception lots of 1.8 players Have is that w tapping literally doesn’t exist in 1.9 which is just objectively wrong it’s honestly used in most combos from mine manor when he’s on the ground although that isn’t the only way to pvp in 1.9 sword one cool thing that makes 1.9 and 1.8 different is how air and Ground affect pvp on ground players will focus on just comboing with w taps s taps and strafes in both versions there’s not much to comment on here aside from the fact that mind manner loves side to side strafes if you watch any video where he plays 1.9 he’s almost Always hitting sword combos with and strafe patterns where he alternates between the two with each hit as well as timing it between hits in specific ways to match his opponent’s kb this is weird to explain but whenever you switch strafe keys while attacking your enemy You slow down a tiny bit which can be used to maintain a good distance and hold a combo on an enemy the way he strafes really depends on just context with the enemy just know that a and d are your best friends take good care of them or else they’ll leave you and You’ll be forced to hold w for the rest of eternity which i wouldn’t i wouldn’t wish on the worst of my enemies it’s just so boring he also has this really cool combo where he jumps between each hit or on every other hit this works very similarly to 1.8 if players start Jumping and using air then completely different tech is used such as crit spamming and crit chaining quit spamming is super simple you basically just jump time a hit on the downward and then make sure to let go of w or press s before hitting since 1.16 doesn’t let you quit While you’re sprinting then you just repeat this and do this 58 billion times until they die which is pretty pretty simple i don’t know good chaining is a bit different though i would compare it more to hit selection in 1.8 after being hit by your enemy you retain some of Your momentum since kb and newer versions isn’t as linear as 1.8 after being hit back you can hit them on the downward to get a free crit which then gets you a health advantage as well as helping you set up a combo afterwards since it acts the exact same as hit Selection another thing i’ll mention is 1.9 shield it does take a lot of skill but mind manner doesn’t have lots of videos on it because there isn’t really much to say about it the main thing you need to know is that when you hold your shield your axe will stay at a full Charge attack this means you can spam click while waiting for them to break your shield then exactly when they snap your shield you’ll hit them for a full swing even though you’re spam clicking aside from this just play passive and keep your eyes on your enemies at all Times lots of good players will do this weird strat where they jump through you and hit you from behind since your shield isn’t protecting you from behind this is super easy to counter though using this hidden strategy i call pressing left click they have to put their shield down to jump just click Once and you’ll be able to hit them back before they can even attack you or you can just turn around and block it which is also very viable just do whichever is easier for you all right the last pvp type i will mention is 1.16 crystal pvp The basic idea of crystal if you don’t know is to get your enemy on the same y level or a higher y level than the crystal is placed as that’s the only way to do proper damage with a crystal this is why you’ll see mind manner and other Crystal pvps do stuff like hit crystalling a really tough strategy where you hit the enemy switch to your obsidian place the crystal and then hit it all within less than a second especially since crystal kits usually have nasrite armor and it reduces your knockback you don’t have a lot of time To get this attack off before they hit the floor and their damage is significantly reduced you can even do a double tap a similar strategy where you do the exact same thing with the hit crystal except you immediately place another crystal and explode it as well which will instantly kill a fully Enchanted netherite player if done correctly there’s tons of dudes that are way more talented than me that understand this part of the game way better just know if you place it really fast they die better alright that’s that’s all you need to know alright so we’ve mentioned all these strats and Techniques used in pvp but what else is there to say about him yes mind manner is extremely good at pvp usually this part of the video i would ramble on for another 37 minutes talking about game sense and thinking but in duels you sort of just go brain afk and stab the other Dude there’s not much else i can talk about what i will mention though is mind mander’s other skills which he has a ton of that includes building redstone parkour and in general mini games and tournaments i’m not going to go into depth on these since i’m dumb as hell And i can only process like one thing at a time which is pvp and that’s literally it but he was literally on green’s build team for wincraft which is just insane this dude literally responded with this on my last video like i can’t find a single skill this guy’s bad at like Bro what language is this guy even speaking half these aren’t even real words all right jokes aside i don’t want to butcher him and explain how to build because i genuinely don’t know by the way i didn’t even mention redstone which he’s obviously insane at as well if i Can find it i’ll put it in the video but there was this old video i found that was unlisted on his channel which is literally just him building this tnt cannon for factions it was cool okay man i swear it exists you can probably find It online i might be able to find it we’ll see like honestly don’t be surprised if this man face reveals one day and it’s literally just minecraft steve i would expect nothing less at this point to be honest now that we’ve gone over all his skills it’s time to Summarize and learn what you can do obviously practice all these skills to keep up to date with new tech seriously you can spot him in dante’s 2800 elo build uhc video all the way back from 2016. he’s been on the minecraft scene for forever and is constantly improving Lots of above average players today could roll both dante and mine manor if they still played like they did in 2016 but as we get older and the game evolves more we all are collectively getting better every year there’s some big innovation or big improvement to the Game but also remember that rods weren’t used in pvp at all at one point in time someone literally had to figure that out and teach everyone and then now it’s like the most common item used in pvp even on like the biggest servers like ipixel although the pvp meta is sort of Stale currently and hasn’t evolved a lot in recent years it doesn’t mean you can improve mechanically so practice makes perfect remember to keep your aim up in games like pot but don’t be afraid to drop the aim down in trades to get a sneaky lava bucket in while you’re Playing build uhc in 1.9 remember your strafes and understand the difference in play styles when fighting people that usually play on the ground versus people that play in the air for crystal learn to double tap as well as getting good at keeping the low ground that’s gonna be It for the video i hope you guys enjoyed and i’ll see you guys next time Video Information
