How to Setup Biomes O’ Plenty on Your Minecraft Server

Hi and thanks for choosing pebble host in today’s video i’m going to show you how you can add biomes of plenty to your minecraft server bumper 20 is a huge mod that adds loads and loads of new biomes and also items so it is a really good thing to have for

Your modded server anyway let’s get right into it so first of all you do want to be running forge if you’re not sure how to do this we do have a video on this so i’ll leave that in the card right now and also a link in the

Description okay so i now have my forge i’m going to restart this and while it’s restarting we’re going to go ahead and install the mod as you can see you can just search bombs aplenty on google and then once you see the curseforge.com you can go ahead and click on that one it

Will then take you to a page just like this one then you want to download the version that you need so i’m going to get 1.17 however if your version is not listed in the recent files you can go to files and then also just look through these if

It is still not on these as these are all 1.17 you can click view all now once i’ve clicked rule you can scroll down or you can just go to all versions and then select the version you need so as you can see it does go all the way down to 1.7.10

As i said i am just going to get 1.17.1 as that is the one that i need so i can just click download it will then start downloading after a few seconds there we go and as you can see it’s now downloading if it does ask you this just click keep

Okay so our server should now be started and there we go our server has started so now you want to go to the file manager and then you want to go to mods because we are now going to add the mod you can then go to upload file

And then pick the biomes of plenty jar file and then click open it will then upload the file and there we go it has now uploaded all right so now we have the mod we can click back you also want to make sure you do install it onto your own client so if

You do already have forge installed in your client as well you can press the windows button do percent app data and percent it will open this new folder which you can click dot minecraft you don’t want to go to mods and make sure the bars are plenty mod is in there mine

Is already in there but if i just take it out i can simply drag from chrome over the top of that and drag it in and it is really that simple now we do need to change something in the config files so you want to go to file manager and

Then you want to scroll down to server.properties you then want you click on it and scroll down to the bottom you can then type in level dash type and then you want to put equals after that also note that just 4.17 and probably higher versions this wanted to

Be added but it should already exist for you if you are in a lower version and then if we go back to the bombs aplenty page we can see that it does give us instructions here so if you are on 1.15 1.16 1.70 or higher you do need

To go and set it to biomeso plenty if you are in 1.12.2 or below you need to set it to biomes op so we are on 1.17 so we’re going to copy this we’re going to go back and we’ll set the level type to biomeso plenty we can then click save

Okay so that should now have saved we can click back okay so i am going to reset my world but you do not have to if you don’t reset it it will just mean that bombs are plenty will only take place in chunks that you haven’t been to before so you can keep

Your world and any new chunks that you walk into they will be biomes of plenty though as i said you do not need to reset your world and if you do reset your world everything will reset and your world will be fully volumes of plenty you then want to restart your server

Now while it is starting up we can go ahead and open minecraft and i’ll go ahead and show you that this does fully work okay so our server has now loaded we can go ahead and join it and as you can see if we press f3 we are in a biomes
