How to Use Custom NPCs and Make Them Destroy Your Minecraft World – Custom NPC Mod Showcase

No no no no no no no no no no no no there’s so many on welcome to another mod spotlight featuring custom npcs and varied commodities very commodities used to be a part of custom npcs but to help me showcase this mod i’m including it in this video custom npcs

Is a mod that allows you to make npcs in your minecraft world you could technically make your very own rpg world with this mod before we get into making our own npcs can you tell me which of these is a custom npc is your guess just

This one wrong it’s all of them you peasants your guess was all of them right yes as you can see this mod makes npcs blend with your environment let’s get to our main tool that we will be using to make our own and edit our custom npcs the mpc wand right here

You can locate the mpc wand on the second tab right at the top left here now if we right click the ground with this we should be able to spawn a new mpc this may look a little confusing but it’s okay bear with me as we go through this together

So this is what our character looks like right now with a randomly generated name and here’s the name right up on the top let’s start with the very top with the name this is what will appear above your character’s head there’s a couple of randomization options in case

You’re like me and can’t think of a unique name so right here the three dotted left seas will bring up a hud for a more specialized random name generator so we can have like old norse ancient greek aztec actually old norse sounded kind of cool look at those names secret but for right

Now we’re gonna put down temp plate now right below name is title this will appear right below your character’s name let’s put down template title so as you can see we’ve got template and template title all right now model you can add your own characterizations to your custom npc

Like we have eyes on him already we can make them a little bit bigger change up the color to maybe like blue as you can see he’s like blinking oh god that’s a little scary we got some beers that we could put on him i don’t know why you would want

Claws but if you want them they’re there we can make them have antlers there’s even like particles that you can put around them too i have spider legs what you can also change your entity of your mpc so it doesn’t have to just be a player model

Like you can have a dragon if you wanted to oh my gosh that’s amazing there’s like slimes you can do you can do a cow creeper blaze bat anything you want that is in your minecraft game that includes modded entities as well so if you have a a mod that brings in

Its own entities you can change your custom mpc’s npcs to look like it now if we leave it on dragon for a second right beside edit here we have size so let’s start with one to see how tiny this oh look how tiny the dragon is

Now if we go to it and do 30 let’s see how big it can get oh my gosh it’s a massive now right below model there’s texture here so if we click select we can change it to any texture that comes with custom npcs so we got like

A king right here on the bottom right fire steve evil gold oh god so it just comes with a lot of them but if we click texture it will switch to player so we can switch to a player’s skin so for example we’ll use my skin

There we go there’s me but let’s say you click it again you get url if we use url we can search up a skin on any website like for example nova skin so this is nova skin this is where i usually go to just find random skins and not only you could just

Do it for the your mpc player you could do it for like pigs or something so if we go to pigs oh my god fbi agent pig yeah you could put obama pig in there if you wanted to oh you could use ruben from the minecraft story mode you know what let’s

Get fbi agent pig in here so we want to scroll all the way down we want to find the flat image here right click it copy image address then we go back to our minecraft world switch the entity to pig then we go to url and put it in

There we go we got fbi pig next is cape so custom npcs comes with his own capes that we can put in unfortunately my version they all turn out black uh your version will probably not be bugged like mine but unfortunately works for mine

If you want to get rid of the cape all you got to do is just delete and then reload it there we go now overlay overlay can give you some glowing effects on your character like under eyes oh we got herobrine eyes let’s leave that in oh god i’m making herobrine

Has a living animation yes so when this is on you’ll notice his arms are just swaying back and forth ever so slightly now if we say no as you can see they are completely still it’s like a robot uh tint tint will just give it a tint okay

I have a color that i found online eb0707 that should be red so as you can see he is now completely tinted red so if you wanted to do it that way tinting your character you can if you want to put it back to normal you just delete everything all right visible

Means we can make your mpc completely or partially visible so if we do no if we get off of this tool as you can see it’s completely invisible if we do partially if we get off our tool it is partially visible so we can see right through it

All right interactable if you turn this off you will not be able to interact with your mpc and i cannot right click it just thinks i’m right-clicking the air but if you want to get back to it you just need to go to whatever name it is edit

Now boss bar we can give it a boss bar up on the top of our screen as you can see it says template with the purple bar uh we can switch this so we can have like blue red oh that’s actually so cool you can make your own boss with this

Mod yellow that’s awesome now we can do it to show when only attacking it as well okay now we are done with display we’re gonna skip stats and ai for right now because later in the video i’m gonna cover in great detail now we are gonna go to inventory we can

Dress up our custom mpc with any of armor weapons we can give it a pickaxe iron pickaxe how about that there we go it’s in his hand you could even give it a certain type of arrow so you can make it specifically only use like arrow water breathing

Or spectral arrows and will only use that i know this sounds a little rubbish but you can makes it shoot seeds so you know when you can see the arrow fly by in the air it’ll be seeds instead all right mpc drop chance here’s where you can decide what drops if the

Customer npc were to die for example now i have a willing test subject called a yo it’s milan clone now i kept in varied commodities for a certain reason because there’s a crap ton of stuff that you can use on your custom npcs but the one i really like is a skull

So if we get a skull let’s get out an anvil i bet you could do this with some sort of mbt tags but we’re just going to quickly do it with an anvil we’ll be like yo it’s milan’s skull and then go to his inventory

We can put yo small and skull right in there now there we go now if we kill him he drops his skull as you can see we got his skull oh yeah you can also set exp levels that you can get from killing them as well all right oh

Boy we’re done with inventory all right now we’re moving on to the advanced tab we’re gonna get into a lot of detailed stuff here so first off the rolls if we left click the right arrow once we are at the trader roll if we click edit when we right click this mpc

It will bring up this and we can trade with them so let’s say we can put four dirt in there and i’ll give you three coarse dirt instead so we’ll get out of the mpc dialogue there we go so as you can see we have 52 dirt if we grab this oh what

Oh yeah if we had more dirt okay so it works but this is a really really good way to get stuff you couldn’t get before so i’m just gonna move this guy right over here as you can see this minecraft head right here it’s a apple so we can make this trader sell

This unique head that you wouldn’t normally be able to get in your minecraft world and i got this on a website called minecraft heads.com i’ll leave the link in the description so right now i’m in 1.12.2 so the heads don’t actually preview but if we go to trader

Uh let’s just put one dirt in we can grab the head so there we go we got another head and there you go an apple head from an apple vendor as you can see there there are many many heads that you can use in your minecraft world diamond skull

Golden skull oh that would be so cool you can maybe do a quest with this mod using those items there’s even blocks like a crafting fro oh that’s so cool little diamond block head right there oh like little logs like you can make these as tiny branches

In your world that you could trade to your players that are in your minecraft world with this mod you have a lot of opportunities with trading stuff now if we go to one tab on the right we’re at follower so you can make it so a certain

Npc will become a companion of sorts so we go in here you can make custom wordings on how long you want them to follow or what they’re gonna say when you hire them so like let’s say we’ll it’ll give you one dirt if you give this guy

One dirt it’ll follow you for one day if we do two it’ll be two three it’ll be three if we talk to them you’re gonna be like i want one day thank you for hiring me now they’ll follow you as you can see now just because they are a follower

Doesn’t mean they will protect you if you engage in combat this guy will just sit there and watch that will rely on what their job is which means you can have different types of followers like pets bards guards anything like that now if we go right one more time we’re

At bank now if we click edit as you can see mine mine has something there already but yours should be completely blank but in order to enable bl banking we need to go to the global tab click on banks click add and now let’s put in a name

Like template bank now i know this looks a little confusing at first and don’t worry it was confusing for me too start one means you will have one chest not a double chest is just a one chest a bank storage so virtual storage um if we do this upgraded

That means you’ll have two chests so a double chest of storage in here if we say two so we have that one the first one is upgraded and can upgrade which means we have a double chest and one chest if we do upgraded for both of these

We now have two double chests does that make sense well first off i’m going to start us off at 1 and we’re going to do can upgrade just so we can see what it looks like to start off so as you can see it’s just one chest of

Virtual storage in here so let’s just put fans button iron bars diamond x just pretend we’re storing stuff in here now if we go back to banks click on our template if we do upgraded we can take a look now it’s a double chest now if we go back to banks template bank

Let’s say you want to get this next tab uh first off you’re going to need whatever you want to put as the cost in your hot bar so we’ll we’ll put like it’s one coarse dirt in order to get another tab and to upgrade it we need another coarse stir so if we

Talk to him as you can see there’s tab two if we want to unlock it we need to do that there we go so now we have another tab here and to upgrade again the next role is transport so transporter it’s a little weird just whatever you do don’t delete this character remove

The roll first because uh i had a bit of difficulties with default here it kind of um it continued the link and now i can’t use default anymore but i’ll show you what i mean so first off we’re gonna need two templates so we’ll do one like way over here somewhere yeah

Now just so you know i’m using uh this is the the cloning tool so i have i can make a clone of them and then i can right click and be like i want to put template right here so there we go so we’re going to make both of these transporters

So that one’s a transporter but first let’s go into the global tab go to transport we’ll make a new one called template save and that’s all we need to do for that now we go to transporter template we’ll do template across river and now this is discovered to us because we

Were nearby him now if we go to this guy transporter we’ll just do well first we need to click on template and then we’ll make template spawn now if we right click them we can teleport to other teleporter people so travel to the other one

There we go so you can kind of use this role for like a mage sort of mpc that can teleport you between like other villages in that now you can make it available and discovered available from the start so the very beginning when you spawn in available after an interaction which

Interactions we’ll get into in another video if you guys want if this gets if this video gets a lot of attention so it would be good it you can you can make your players go and discover a certain village and have this guy right there and then when they discover it they can

Find another teleporter and then teleport between the two now before you go to the next one make sure you switch off make sure it resets or you’re going to have troubles all right mailman so it’s self-explanatory you can send mail to people so let’s let’s send mail to myself

Hi there we’re gonna give you some coarse dirt and some dirt we’re gonna be like night dream is an old man there we go scent now as you can see i didn’t get any mail the only way to get mail is you need to have mailboxes

All over the place so here’s one type of mailbox actually let’s get them all out we got that one and so we got these three that can be used as mail so if we right click on one of them as you can see we have mail read there we go

And then you can take the mail on whatever you got companion now the mod author is currently working on this part of the mod so i’m unsure on how it works but i guess it kind of works like a follower but i won’t be going over this roll it’s a little confusing

And it’s still it’s glitchy and i tried to make it work and it couldn’t work now finally we’re on the last world dialogue unfortunately this one is the most confusing and tedious one of them all all right so you can make your own conversations with your npc

So to start us off let’s go to the start tag oh we can actually be like hi there at p and at p means it’ll do the nearest player and then we can make a response so we can be like how are you question mark another one could be like

Your mean exclamation mark another one could be like i’m stupid now for the first one for how are you we can be like well we can say the response of uh what they’re gonna say like i’m great the second option we can be like no you to the you’re mean

I’m stupid could be you’re 100 correct now if we were to right click this person there it is hi there night dream now we have three options here we can be like how are you i’m great thanks and then end of conversation or you’re mean no you or i’m stupid you’re 100

Correct as you can see it was super simple to do that now there is a way to make it so there’s additional dialogue going down certain branches of your dialogue but that’s a video in itself um please let me know in the comments below if you want me to do it or even

Join my discord and just be like night dream do it just do it now that’s it for the rolls now we’re on to the job section of this so there are some amazing jobs that you can have for your custom npcs like we got bard beacon guard item giver follower spawner conversation chunk

Loader puppet builder and farmer and that’s it so first off let’s start with bar you can make your npc play music you have the option to play as a jukebox or play in the background but in my personal opinion play as jukebox don’t do anything else there’s play as

Background which don’t do it don’t do it it’s glitchy so just like a jukebox the further you are away from it the quieter the music gets you can set how many blocks away you need to be in order for the music to play and you can set how many blocks away you

Need to be before the music turns off using the on distance and the off distance and i would say the falloff of music works effectively around 64. anything lower will give a little bit of issue plus this mod comes with its own music so if we go to select sound custom npcs

As you can see there’s a whole bunch of sounds here but if we go all the way down to the bottom there is songs caleb seven by eight or kaleb bard so let’s see the first one and there we go it’s playing if we got a little further away As you can see the falloff is happening this music is really really nice i would suggest giving it a listen yourself so the next job is beacon this beacon job allows nearby npcs and our players to receive potion buffs it would be good to put this as a support class npc so

You can have like follower and then it could be a beacon so you can make someone follow you who has like uh where is it mining speed and you can make them have speed as well so you could have you can do some really fast adventuring

With this mpc and of course you can do the effect range the speed potency you can make it affect everything around you so even the mobs you can just do friendly ones so you sheep chickens stuff like that you can do unfriendly only as well so like you could do like instant damage

If that actually works or hunger levitation to all unfriendly things around you actually that’d be pretty cool holy crap now on to the next one now we have guard this is the most important and most common job i would say you’ll use in custom npcs this job allows your npc

To target and attack any available nearby targets you select so you can be like i wanted to attack all animals all monsters and creepers and yes if you have any modded things it’ll show up on the left-hand side here too the only thing is if you make it attack creepers

If they can’t kill creepers quick enough the creepers will blow up and wherever this character is guarding there will be a field of creeper explosion so make sure they can kill creepers quick enough now next job item giver when approaching this npc it will give you an item

Chosen in the job ui we can make it random like an item out of a list so it can be like one of them could be dirt grass stones and wooden axe or it can give not owned items so since i have dirt it won’t give us dart give one doesn’t own

Any so it’ll give me all of these if i don’t own any of them at all or it could be changed so one day it’ll be dirt grass and stone and scent so random items all items give not own items give one doesn’t own it or change

Now we can put a timer on all this as well so you can have a 10 second timer on it give only once daily so every minecraft day and that’s it now we got availability options again this is this is a video on its own on this area but

Select scoreboard so if you make a certain scoreboard one for someone and then you yourself as the admin make their scoreboard one well they can get items from these people all right next job follower so again followers showing up again this is a little weird all it does is it just follows

Anything nearby so like let’s click on alex as you can see we got alex right over here so all follower does it’s just it follows someone so but if they are moving around so let’s actually try that out with your template save this item right here the mpc pather comes with this mod

If we right click here right click there right click there right click there this npc will follow that path that we just put out so again this is an ai but we’ll go over this later if we go all the way down to the bottom where it says movement

Click on standing until it goes to moving path there we go it will follow this path there we go oh we’re it’s also stopping at each point as well so we would need to say no to pauses so it won’t do any pauses now if we click on template here

Make him a follower to template oh no not that template time to delete that one there we go is it following him sort of okay yes it is following him it’s just it’s so close proximity right now next roll spawner so if you want a mobile mpc

Spawner this is the job you want for this npc to have just be warned this can get very chaotic like imagine you don’t like in stats you can go to respawn and you can make it so there’s a respawn timer of 20. if you don’t turn that off with spawner

They will constantly spawn and they will never ever die because they have a 20 second timer on it but all you need to do is use the cloning tool that i talked about earlier select the mpc in the select npc spot now we’re skipping over conversations since

I don’t know much about it and i tried to make it work it’s a little weird but i’m pretty sure conversation it um has a conversation with another npc or something like that now chunk loader this keeps the chunk loaded wherever this npc is so no matter where you are in the

Minecraft map this chunk will be loaded so this will allow crops to keep growing mobs to spawn stuff like that uh before we get into the next uh job i need to go downstairs here for a second let’s throw that away mask of words how are they doing here

The joshua’s in milan’s huh they are receptive to the torture they are receiving awesome take that milan josh what are you doing you’re just running through fire you could be standing in the corner and milan is just burning in the sunlight right now yeah he’s literally burning in the

Sunlight there’s no fire right below him uh puppet depending on what positions your mpc is standing in you can turn your npc’s joints manually so click on edit see oh god we can move his body like that head you can make a turn that make their arms turn you can make um

Them look like a zombie i guess with their arms out like that but you could be like me and make a scene where you just murdered a bunch of milan josh’s just like me now some entities don’t work with uh puppet jobs like i would say horses sheep pigs

So keep that in mind now we are on the next one builder so the builder makes your npcs build stuff via the builder block so now let’s uh save this template guy we need to go over to our place this builder block down all right so this is the builder block located

Right here in the custom npc’s tools so when we put it down we can choose from a list of schematics here on what we want built so like let’s take a look at lighthouse here for a second and we can preview it so there we go we could make our npcs build this

Right in your world and they’ll build it block by block too um observatory let’s see this that’s actually really cool and we could probably go inside too yeah we can see everything in here but for right now we’re gonna just do stall so we’re gonna make a build something

Nice and simple just like this now we’re gonna un-preview it we’re going to enable it and you can do like y offset stuff like that or rotation if you wanted to too so it doesn’t have to just be where this block puts now we are going to put

A template down here so this is our builder right here there we go it’s already getting to work and we have another builder coming in too perfect let’s get more so template template so now we got five builders in total look at that they’re even getting rid of

The grass around here now again through like um conversation and questing like that you can make it so this enables after you do a certain dialogue as well so it’d actually be pretty cool and look at that it’s almost done that was so quick

Oh my gosh um i did find that if you can get them flying it’s a bit better but if they need to get up top here they’ll just teleport which is i think is fine all right and now these guys are done and now they will return back to the

Spot that they were last at where they spawned in so right here but we’ll leave them be for right now now our last job is farmer we can turn our mpcs into farmers that will automatically farm and put the farm materials into nearby chests but if you do not

Wish for the mpc to put it in chess it can be dropped or it can stay in the mpc’s inventory forever so if we go to edit you can do put in chest drop on ground or do nothing let’s do put in chest for right now

So as you can see i got a little farm here there we go it just put some wheat in there yeah one week there we go now it is doing it one by one but that’s fine because they’re gonna be staying here forever aren’t they i had

Had some issues with them on stomping on your crops if you have like a block right here do bear in mind they might drop down from this block onto your farmed spot now we are finally done with jobs so let’s pass by these guys the original milans and josh’s these

Are the successful clones that i have made of them using everything we learned we are going to use these milan and josh npcs to make us an arena for us to watch combat techniques on the custom npcs so we’re going to get into stats and ai for the next part

We can talk about all these advanced options here so the lines faction dialogue sounds stuff like that we are going to combine our josh and milan clones together to make an ultimate creation called milosh and then we’ll make the title like destroyer of creation i did put in a custom skin

Ah i made it as a texture milosh 2. there we go we have the pur i’ll get rid of the eyes it’s too creepy there we go the perfect skin for our creation we got the blue and the face of joshua clone and then we have the bee

Skin plus the arms with the feet as from the milan cloud all into one custom npc now we need to make sure milosh can talk so we’re going to go into advanced we’re going to go into lines here this is where we can get milos to start talk world lines is what

It’s going to say every now and then even when you’re around them so world lines we’re going to be like i am milosh destroyer of creation i am more powerful than josh and milan fear me at p so that will target us now attack line uh

This is what he’s gonna say if he were to attack anything so we can be like destroy destroy fear the milosh uh let’s do one interact line we don’t want him to say hello we’re gonna be like how dare you speak to the milosh lines killed even though this npc is gonna be

Strong and most likely never die we’re gonna put in one anyways i can never be killed uh we’ll go to kill so kill will be like if he were to kill anything even if it’s like a sheep or something like that we could be like more parts for the milos

Clothing facility oh my god i am making a monster right now now for the next part we need to give him a faction of his own we need to go to the global tab for that go to faction now don’t mind all the other stuff here

Uh this is from an old map that i use custom npcs on so it still has all the old factions i have in here so there’s a crapton ad we’ll go down to new here so new we’ll name it as milash what color should we give it

Let’s just give it white for right now actually let’s give it a complete red look we’re gonna make it completely red all right now if we go to points so points is um your reputation with the faction so default is what you’re gonna have at the start so

All players will be at this now if you do change this you’re gonna need to do something later with player data which i will go over later so you can set what threshold you and other players can get to to become unfriendly or friendly with any faction you can

Make the faction hostile to the start by setting it below the value so it would be like 4.99 um but same for friendly as well we can be like 1501. now we’re friendly at the faction well we’ll go back to a thousand for a second if your faction is unfriendly off the

Bat they will consider you an enemy and guards of said faction will engage in combat with you on site and you will not be able to interact with them at all so you won’t be able to right click right click them at all if your faction

Is neutral so right now we are neutral at a thousand because we’re in between 500 and 1500 they will not attack you on sight but if you attack any of them they will become hostile and guards will openly defend their faction members and attack your minecraft character

Oh god fear me nighttime um if the faction is friendly uh you will not be able to attack them whatsoever and they will not defend you if you’re under attack so for now we’re gonna do a thousand you can choose whether or not these factions are attacked by

Mobs if this is off hostile creatures will not attack them on site but it won’t stop faction members who are assigned the guard job to attack mobs if it’s on of course mobs are going to target these faction members as well and you can also have hostile factions so

You can choose which factions are hostile from the view of your selected faction why is he keep saying fear me night drink your faction will act unfriendly towards each hostile faction like as if it was a player or something like that so there we go let’s go back to the faction tab we’ll

Go to milosh there we go as you can see his name is now red like the faction color on the advanced tab of the factions we can choose what this certain npc will do when faced with members of other factions or players so we can be like attack hostile factions

Defense of faction members yes now attack hostile factions means the npc will react when it sees a hostile faction or player even if you set the npc to flee stop saying fear may not dream but if you set this mpc to flee it will flee

When this is set to yes so attack cost alpha actions yes if attack hostile factions is set to no it will not react until attack um on death points on death can allow you to set reputation gains and decreases to any faction when this mpc dots um but there’s a small glitch

Where if the faction member dies not by your hand you will still get the rep increase or decrease it would be best to be just test this out on your side just in case so if milos were to die we could be like decrease at 10 points so i believe we

Started off at like a thousand so it would be -10 from a thousand so 990. uh dialogues we won’t be going over since that’s a video of its own sounds this is where we can set certain sounds that the mpc will make during certain points in time

You can use any sounds that come with minecraft and any sounds that come with any of your mods so like if we clicked on living sound we got custom npcs in minecraft that’s what i got right now in my mod order so we can go to minecraft and then

We can make like him sound like a villager entity villager ambien so we can make him sound like a villager when we’re around uh angry sounds uh will be just sounds when it’s in combat hurt sounds are sounds at play when it’s being dealt damage death sounds will just be the sound it

Makes when it dies and step sounds will be what it makes when it starts to walk around all right night tap this is where it gets a little complicated so do this as the last thing you want to do on your mpc you can make it so your npcs do

Different things when night comes along like for example you could make it so your npcs can go indoors at nighttime so if we click yes in editing mode yes this mpc will reset all the ai stuff or you can reset all the inventory display stats and when it’s night time right now

You could edit where it will go if it were to be nighttime so you could use but use like the mpc path or or maybe it changes its drop rate at night time or maybe it changes its name at nighttime or texture as well so it can visibly change

At night time we’re gonna select no on everything though it get it can get really complicated so only do that as the last thing you do uh scenes uh this is for like cinematics that you can use with this mod but i haven’t really figured out how to do it so we’re gonna

Skip that now marks uh this is what can be above the players or the npc’s head so we got a question mark up there exclamation mark pointer a skull cross star this can be really useful if you’re using like a quest or something so you can do like an exclamation mark saying

This npc has a quest all right so meatlosh is almost done and milash’s head is just staring at me even when i go side to side a little creepy but all right but we are almost done we’re just going to quickly go over the global tap so banks we went over factions

We went over dialogues quests are for another video transport we went over player data so this is where everything is stored about custom npcs so if you interact with an npc increased your rep with a certain faction made a bank slot with a certain banker it is stored here during the creation

Process of any faction or npc you may need to come here multiple times to clear your data so you might just need to delete everything here because let’s say you want to redo a dialog quest thing you’ll need to delete it here recipes you used to be able to make your

Own custom recipes here it was so cool but unfortunately it doesn’t work anymore currently the most recent version of this mod is 1.12.2 i know it’s not out for 1.16 and natural spawn you can make it so this uh you don’t want to but you can make it so milosh

Is a natural spawn in the world but it it’s possible just make sure they don’t have a respawn time our milash is complete now we must bring our milos and our clones to somewhere where we can begin testing some combat so you may have noticed this thing has

Been in the sky here well this is a quick and dirty arena that i’ve made so i want my clones to work on building this in a more suitable spot on the ground and as you can see over there i made a hole in the ground that perfectly fits

This arena but that means we need to make a custom schematic for this to make this customer schematic we will be using world edit for this what we need to do is slash slash wand we’re going to left-click this side gonna go all the way to the opposite side and above

Place one block here right-click that one so now there is an invisible selection across this entire thing and what we need to do is now slash copy so 17901 blocks have been copied now if we were to paste this you will see it’ll take a little a couple of seconds to load

There we go now we we have it attached to our clipboard so undo that so now what we need to do is we need to do slash skim save battle arena we now have our schematic saved through world edit but now we need to get custom npcs to see this

In order for custom npcs to recognize it we will need to move it in our files to a certain place uh we can probably go like resource pack open so right now we’re in our resource packs so the area that it saves our schematic is with world edit so it’s in

Config world edit schematics so there it is right there battle arena two kilobytes so we will copy that we will need to navigate to our save so if we go back to dot minecraft we will need to go to our saves then we will need to go to our world so minus 1.12.2

Custom npcs copy go to custom npcs and then go to schematics paste it in there now if we go back to minecraft uh it should show up in our builder’s block now i got my builder block set up right here we will need a builder block in our hand to access it

The npc has so 20 is what a player would have so let’s put that up to 50. aggro range we’ll make that a little bit bigger so 32 creature type we can make them undead anthropod so as you know there are some items that affect only spiders or only undead but we’ll

Put it as normal uh respawn we are going to make it so there is no respawn but we’ll put it in one second we’re gonna take that away later uh melee options made like strength is one is that normal how much does one damage do we’re gonna make this on factions

Aggressive and i believe that comes with your custom npc’s so how many points yeah we’re unfriendly with them a mode zero hit me okay so it does half a heart of damage when it’s one damage melee option so what if we gave it five how much does five do game mode zero

Oh god two hearts and a half it’s gonna kill me no don’t do it no what if we went to melee options we went one but let’s arm them with like iron swords that might be fair right what’d you say game mode zero let’s see if you can kill me oh and hmm

Interesting so even though we have an iron sword equipped it still only does half a heart of damage so let’s bring it back to five and let’s do melee speed 15 so it’s a bit quicker now we can make them ranged but this should all be self-explanatory here on what they can do

Accuracy 60 range minimum delay burst count so how many can they fire at once uh how long until they what’s the range until they go into melee mode uh projectile type so you can choose what the projectile is you can make it explode oh no oh no uh resistance obviously they get

Resistance from stuff you know what let’s make it like 10 resistance are eleven percent fine uh immune to fire burns and sun that’s what milan was doing earlier uh can drown no fall damage cobweb affected potion yada yada easy health regen we’ll do one because i believe we do one

Normally on players right uh combat regen we’ll do one ai so on found enemy they retaliate so if they if we attack it they’ll attack us back we can switch to panic or retreat floyd’s water return to start leap at target sure let’s do that door opens it’ll break doors open swim

Yes a shelter from darkness sunlight oh that’s pretty cool must see target yes attack invisible no now tactical variant this is a very cool feature they had so these are strategies on how they’ll attack so we can do rush dodge surround their target hit and run

Ambush i rush is really nice so they just charge as fast as they can and continue attacking like you saw when they’re attacking me i think we should do surround so those surround their target and that’s about it for uh stats and ai i’m gonna quickly change it to

Uh the appropriate side so we got yo it’s milan on this side we got clone of milan on this side and we’re actually gonna make the faction clone of milan and we’ll make them just yellow like his b color and then we’ll make another faction clone of

We’re just gonna put clone of josh here so that’s why they’re all facing that way so if we go into movement here go edit there’s movement moving type so standing they will wander around in a range of 10 or moving paths which we went over earlier so standing

Um they can we can make them fly swim ground um yada yada animation we can make them sit lie down on the ground hug so like kind of zombie-ish now it’s sneaking dancing aiming crawling dancing is actually a little weird but we’re gonna take a look at it

It’s just a head bob over and over again like that with their arms moving oh yeah crawling on the floor is a little uh creepy like as you can see yeah imagine like versing like that many all crawling oh god make a zombie apocalypse with this or something like that and then rotation

They only had 10 out of 25 people die so they had 15 people all right we know who the better minecrafter is it’s obviously josh it’s not milan don’t hurt me milan please now that you’ve seen what custom mpcs is capable of i can show you what i made with this mod

Um i made this a very very long time ago so i used mcedit to bring this in from an older version of custom npcs into this world so this is what i made with custom empties this is one of my minecraft villages and i covered it in custom npcs

There is nothing here right now but i will be putting it in as we go um up here though i i used world edit to bring in some of the houses so i copied and pasted them from here so it’s kind of like my template up here but right here

Um this is my like sort of template of all my custom npcs i’ve used in the past and even this person right here i have a um quest from we got a bunch of dogs here as well with different skins people with different skins all over the place

And all these uh pillars here they represent where they are down below there and uh once i get them all down there i can uh show you what it’s like so i’ll be a bit two hours later so i’ve successfully put all of these npcs down below

Just to finish off the village so if we go down here you can actually see there is a whole bunch of mpcs that i have populated around this area even got some little chickens that run around the place if i actually freeze them for a second you could probably see their skin

As well ah there do you see that you see the eyes and the chicken [Laughter] got a little cobble mary mine here oh they’re not working properly it’s tough reset okay why aren’t you come on come on there we go it’s mine perfect so i made a sort of um

Like simulation like these guys are mining the actual stuff but if we hold our npc wants we can actually see that um they’re actually just hitting this so that’s an aggressive faction for these cobbleberry miners which are in their own faction and then i made it so these little mining placeholders they

Just move around every now and then so it makes these guys start going back to work oh yeah and we got these farmers they’re actually farming the entire area you just saw it right there i think oh yeah they’re about to do it here too there we go

And i made them do nothing with the crop so they’re not even dropping it they’re just uh absorbing absorbing it and then this guy sells the potatoes if i actually right-click them yeah he’s like hello friend how are you and i could be like how is business or

Trade and then boom one wooden coin for wheat potatoes seeds yeah and then wooden coin comes with uh varied commodities so you can use that as a sort of currency and then i think i have a little bar down here yeah there we go we got like the the fellowship right

Over here with frodo bank got some calvary guards an ark in the corner yeah and then this guy sells um some of the drinks i think it was from one of the mod packs there was like it had a whole bunch of drinks so we just

Added it as like a trading option and then up this road here we got like a priest catherine brine brian herobrine kind of get it and what the frick are you doing but if you go up to this guy he will actually give you some bread and then we got a big ass

Uh guard that’s guarding the cathedral right here oh yeah over here the big r represents um if we go in here the redstone bankers so if we right click them i i re i really wanted to make like a whole bunch of villagers with a whole

Bunch of custom npcs all over the place and then the redstone bankers are gonna be like the banks that connect all the villages together so you could find another redstone banker in a different village and then boom access to the same bank but if i actually go into game mode zero

Oh no and i attacked them see it’s kind of like skyrim if you attack one of them they all get i grow on you oh god and what i wanted to show off is one of the quests actually so if we go let’s go game mode zero for now and we’ll

Use that bread from earlier so if we talk to ruth rorick she’s like good day night dream night right how are you anything i can do to help she gave night dream an inquisitive look i do need some help she looked over at our wolves that weren’t too far away

You see these chickens have been bothering my wolves they constantly come up to the wolves and peck them please show them it’s not okay to do that quest collect three feathers off of the chickens and then i made it so you have an option to say sorry i’m a bit busy or

Sure i’ll help now if you see at the top right corner we have a quest and she said thank you so much come back to me when you collected three feathers so now that i have the quest enabled all of these um chickens they have a skull over them

To indicate that you need to kill them no ah no no no no i didn’t mean to get ah all right i’m back um chickens why are you so yeah it’s a bit of a cool indica oh my god the chicken um it’s a bit of a cool indicator that you can

Do this with your oh my god they’re saying bach bakbak when they die this is awesome oh get back here get back here get back here before i hit something else no as you can see i added a bit of movement speed to these chickens

There we go we got two so far so if we also notice cobbleberry feather and it has an mbt tag with the purple text here proof that you killed an innocent chicken be ashamed but also be proud so you can’t just use a blacksmith or no an

Anvil and just tight and like type in cobbleberry chicken you actually need this item and there we go we got three so if we go back to ruth thank you so much that’ll teach those chickens not to mess around complete so yeah and now if we talk to her again

Uh how do i do this again oh yeah complete and now since we completed that we got an item roric family commendation give this salvana rorick to get your own wolf so if we trade with her as you can see there’s the accommodations and now we can choose

Which one we want so there’s aurora dakota archer and aurora oh that one tiltron used to be aurora dakota and archer which one do i want so right now they don’t respond to oh no they say hello night dream they’re not supposed to talk um you know what we’ll just go for

Telltrin which is aurora there we go so now this is a soul stone which comes with the mod it’ll be empty once i right click it oh but there we go um preferably you would do this in your own home but then uh if you right click them bark

The wolf happily looks up at night stream feeling comfortable and nitrogen’s presence so we can either do the pet ear option or kneel down the wolf tilts its head at you it smiles wondering if you’ll receive he don’t give up so now i made it so the companions the followers stuff from

Earlier that we talked about in this video we can give it one bone to follow us for one day three for five days five for ten days and if we hire it i believe let’s see did i make it yeah i made it a guard so if it follows you around

It will attack things with you so you could have your own custom wolf or you don’t even have to just do this with a wolf you could do like a like a slime a skeleton a zombie anything you want so i just found that making this small quest was actually really really fun

And yeah and um you can also make it so when i place that on that soul stone that’s its respawn point so i believe if this dies it will go back to its respawn point uh if it dies yeah you get archers oh archer’s dead flesh i forgot to re-type

It it died in combat have no fear it will respawn so it’s this mod is just so awesome like imagine you doing this like making a quest of your own where you can get you know a companion of yours for every single village it could be different

Like wait were those guards just talking to my pet there like you could do anything you want i would love to just have like a golem as a pet or something like that oh god there’s my little pony in here or something like that

Oh no like a polar bear as a pet oh you can make a gigantic rabbit as a pet there’s so much you could do with this like um here i just got reminded of something if we do mpc slime all right uh if we go to ai we go manual so it faces

One direction right now we do hide look at that doesn’t it look like a slime block now i’m sure you’re getting at what i’m trying to get but you can go through it but if we go select diamond ore look at that imagine you’re in the middle of a cave

In the middle of nowhere and you’re like oh diamond ore you go to mine it you actually hit an mpc the slime block or the diamond ore attacks you back and if you kill it you get the like a couple diamond from it this mod is amazing

You could do it you could do so much with this even just this mod alone you could do a one thing i didn’t talk about in this mod is this a redstone block i know it has the same name as redstone but as you can see on distance

Let’s do six off distance seven so this is a block that activates when you get near it so if we go yep there we go and boom boom imagine you can do like it’s connected to like a command block or something like that and you do like slash

Summon zombie at this coordinate this can even add more thriller to your to your world this is it’s it’s so awesome uh varied commodities we’ll just quickly go through that there’s a whole bunch of different blocks so you may have seen that when i was traveling around but you can have like

Chairs lamps crates all over the place pedestal where you can put swords weapon racks where you put weapons in as well for like an armory crystals that actually glow and they’re a bit translucent or you can have a full colored block one more tables cemetery tombstones a book big signs

And now the items so like all these coins you can use this as like gradual currency so maybe like 10 wooden coins turn into one stone coin or something like that so throughout each village that you find you can maybe do a conversion and then just like bronzing gets steel ingots

Maybe you can have a certain village that produces said ingot or something like that you got broken orbs that can turn into actual orbs keys bags and if we go into the weapons there’s guns but that’s if you want that in your world there’s staffs

That maybe could be in a trade like if we grab one of them if you hold down right mouse yeah and then you get that little dot right in front you can fire it off boom so it’s an actual working thing too like these weapons actually work

Uh can that oh the emerald tridents i don’t think you can throw them but yeah they’re just usable i think that’s the same as a diamond sword something like that yeah same attack speed there’s so much demonic sword so i believe there’s demonic ingot and mithrilling it and stuff like that

Yeah mithril and get so there’s mithril stuff demonic shields whole bunch of damn weapons oh my god like and then there’s armors too like you got mithral just play demonic chess play like again more trading stuff too am i fueling your knowledge to make your own minecraft world with this mod

This mod is wonderful and i’ve spent countless hours in it all right so i’ve showed you the entire village of what’s in store here where did i leave milash i can’t remember maybe it was at the arena uh wait a second what’s going on what is going on what
