– Hi, I’m Trent. – I’m Michael! – In this video, we’re going to show you how to add a whitelist and add people to your whitelist on your Minehut server. – So here we are on our Minehut server. It’s online. We joined an I am an OP on the server. – If you don’t know to create a server, or how to OP yourself, we’ve got videos for those. Just check out the other videos we have on the channel. – Okay, so what I want to do here is I want to create a server where you and I can play together and nobody will bother us. A whitelist makes it so that way only certain people that you add can join. – Cool! So that means no griefers! – Yes,exactly. It’s a great way to prevent griefing. So I am OP, so I’m going to type /whitelist on and, to do that, all I do is type / to pull that up, whitelist and then on. – Cool. – I’m going to hit enter. So, there we go! My whitelist is now turned on. So, if somebody were to try to join the server, they wouldn’t be able to right now because I haven’t added anybody to my whitelist. – Okay. – Okay, so I want to play with you though. – Yeah. – So, I am going to whitelist and then add. There we go. So, we’re going to add a name, and then you type the person’s username right here. So, I know that you are on the account InternetPolice over there. – It’s a great account. – There we go. And, I don’t know what the horses are doing, but we’ll ignore that. – So, now I’m whitelisted so now I will go and join your server through Minecraft. – Yep! So, come and join my server. – Right! And there we go! InternetPolice, there he is. Okay, there we go. And then– – Oh! Hey! Whoo! – Okay, hello, hello. There you are. I’m going to hit you. – Ahh! – And now let’s say I don’t like you anymore– – Uh-oh! – and I don’t want you on my server. – But I’m the police! – So, I am going to whitelist remove InternetPolice. So that removed you from the whitelist, but it didn’t actually kick you– – Ha ha! I’m still here! – So, there we go. Let’s have you disconnect real quick and try to join again and see what happens. – Okay, so now I’ve disconnected and then when I try to connect, I can’t do it! – There we go. You are not on the server. InternetPolice left the game and he did not come back. So there we go. Now I removed InternetPolice from my whitelist so he can’t come back and grief my server or bother me here. Now it’s just me. – And that’s how you whitelist and add people to your whitelist on your Minehut server. Video Information
