Hypnotizd – Minecraft Mods Agrarian Skies 2 – EXPANSION !!! [E20] (Modded Skyblock)

What’s up everybody welcome back to another episode of agrarian skies – oh yeah so I haven’t made much progress since last episode I want to get some things figured out before we actually build more of these platforms and get things put in place up there one of the things

That I want to do is figure out how we’re gonna move between platform and platform so I know thermal expansion has an item in it that I haven’t used before but I know d-mac was using it in the infinity series can’t remember the name of it’s a

Pleat of some type of things one of these redstone plate translocation pleat and impulse plate yeah impulse plate I think this is what we want this will actually launch you like it’ll launch you in a straight line to launch it Street up or a launch yet an angle so

This is kind of what we’re looking for something like that that we can bounce between one platform and another so yeah I think we’re gonna start looking at making some of these things so we have to use a fluid transpose or get some energized glue stone into a plate frame

The plate frame uses hardened glass or what was the other ones like hardened lumi I’m glass so one of the – we do need this signal um or or I guess in got you have to make it from a blend we needed to make this stuff anyway there’s

A quest that we were looking at last time this take a look real quick it was under the tinker’s toys category I believe yeah down here exotic metals we needed to make it anyway for this quest so might be a good time to get into that

Let’s see I think there might have been another way that we didn’t have to do the fluid Transposer yeah we can do a casting table so you make the plate frame put a block of glue stone in the smell treat and pour it and then we can

Get it that way too which actually might be a little bit easier than having to make the fluid Transposer alright so we will look at doing that so first things first we need to make the hardened glass or the hardened Lumia ma both of those I do believe require

Obsidian obsidian lead which is not that bad we need an obsidian block mm-hmm there’s an easy way to make the obsidian by filling up stone barrels and pouring water on top so we might set up like a quick way a quick automated way what am I going

A quick automated way to do this well I guess it’ll be semi automated it won’t be fully automated but we can put stone barrel here which will fill up full of lava then we just need to put some blocks around that so we can do that’s the wrong spot but that’ll work there

There we’re just gonna do this kind of ugly weight and water well that’s a problem does water not go in there let go in there water all right so now that’ll keep the water in place and we have obsidian so I can just right click on this obsidian obsidian I can just

Hold down right click and we will make obsidian all day long the the barrel automatically fills up full of lava the water on top of that barrel turns up to obsidian and there we go there is a whole bunch of obsidian how much should we make 18 well maybe we’ll make a

Little bit more I mean we have unlimited lava right okay that’s a problem you gotta keep watch on that we’re using wood and there is fire down below okay probably not the best way of doing this and it’s obviously not a permanent setup but this will get us a good amount of

Obsidian really quickly alright I think we’re probably good approaching a stack I would imagine half a stack thought we had made more than that maybe not okay anyway that’ll make enough of the stuff that we need so we’re going to remove all this just so we don’t cause a fire

Yeah and one more all right very good so there’s half a stack exactly of obsidian so we needed to take that and put it into the casting a base in and then what did we do we pour lead on top of it okay so I am

Going to go ahead and turn all of this into the hardened glass where’s our led at 64 I think we’re gonna need was that I think that was half an ingot per so maybe 16 all right well smelt that up I will pour that on to our lid or I will pour the

Lid on to our obsidian make that glass and we will continue on from there all right guys so we’re finishing up here making the rest of our hardened glass and I got some glowstone in our smeltery that is melting down I put this in here about 45 minutes ago it’s about halfway

Done so this is gonna take about three years to complete actually it’s only been in there probably a minute so this takes an extremely long time to melt in the smeltery so I think if we’re gonna do a lot of this stuff we are probably gonna end up making the thermal

Expansion machines because that is a little ridiculous how long that’s taking so we’d have to make a fluid Transposer let’s see I haven’t even looked at these recipes I don’t know what they’re like super complicated okay just a standard recipes that have been in thermal expansion for a little while now we

Needed them we’d also need a magnum a crucible this guy right here so we need another brick which we have access to in the nether or we could smell down some netherrack to make the bricks let’s see it doesn’t look like anything else is too crazy here okay I was thinking for a

Second there I required the resonant frame but does not appear so let’s don’t yeah we could make all that stuff and we probably will but since I saw that we could do this in the smeltery I wanted to try it but my goodness the progress bar on this is the slowest thing ever

It’s probably gonna take a full five minutes to melt this down although I doesn’t look like it’s even moving at all anymore does it I don’t know what’s going on with it but it definitely doesn’t look gets moved at all since we’ve been on the screen yep

Okay well I tell you guys what I’m gonna wait for forever for that to finish up and I might start making the thermal expansion machines because it doesn’t look like this is making any more progress I don’t know there might be something special about this I’m not

Aware of but yeah so doesn’t look like that progress bar has gone anywhere does it hmm I don’t know all right I’ll be back all right guys so I left the glowstone in the smeltery for a while and I didn’t see the progress bar changing this so I decided to put the

Smaller dusts in here and they went up about half way after taking half a forever and they didn’t proceed any further either so there must be some kind of upgrade to the smeltery or something that I’m not aware of but I took all those items out because even

Though they weren’t being melted they are still using lava I mean we have unlimited lava but it’s still using it regardless so I took them all out decided to make the fluid Transposer and the magma crucible so we’ll go ahead and craft both of these guys here so the

Fluid Transposer I think we will stick here magna crucible there so we’re gonna set the magna crucible to export to the left and we will set the fluid Transposer to import from the right these are both filling up on power quite nicely yep we got a nice power supply

Down here all right so we need to get some glowstone I guess I’ll just do a block glowstone well hold on a second actually before we well no no we’ll do this right now before we get that melting I was gonna make the the plate but will just melt that down since that

Takes a minute so plate let’s take a look at the recipe once again we needed to make the plate free which is signal um signal them I would get it right one of these days guys so how do we make this stuff we need it to melt down redstone didn’t we

Oh man maybe I shouldn’t have melted the glowstone it’s too late um okay let’s get back in here so in order to make the blend we need pulverized copper plus silver plus destabilized redstone is there another way to make to make this unlike the smell tree maybe right so furnace

Induction smelter molten okay so you can put redstone plus copper plus silver wait did the other recipe require silver it does okay so three copper however much that is I think that might be ten pieces of dust let’s put that all in the smelter and see what happens so that

Three of those we needed a silver eight one silver and then I think it is ten redstone so I’ll do a block plus one stick all that in here hopefully this doesn’t take forever to melt down looks like it’s going at a pretty reasonable speed okay so we will get that signal um

Stuff made up so let’s go back once again so we need some invar which we already have we have the hardened lumen lumia m– all these different words that i don’t use too often is like getting me confused anyway we have the hardened glass so we just need to make the ingots

Out of this stuff and yeah we’ll be able to make those plates so let’s go ahead and get this going and we’ll be back in just a little bit guys oh man guys so we’re running into the same problem once again so we got the redstone put in here and this stuff

Is not moving I don’t know what to deal what that is like if it’ll finish overtime if I give it you know an hour or something to complete or if that if there’s just some requirement to the smeltery that I’m not aware of but yeah this is the same thing that glowstone

Was doing like the bars went up part way and then it wouldn’t move anymore so I think what we’re gonna do let’s take these out I made a portable tank over here and I just went in and I exported our glowstone to the top side I think we’re

Gonna use our magma crucible over here for what it’s really intended for we’ll put the nine molten redstone over here and one more okay and then I think I don’t know if this will work but I think we can make a bucket and then pour that

Bucket into the smeltery let’s see if we can make something like that work make a bucket real quick okay so the fluid Transposer should be able to transpose that fluid into this bucket and I think we can click the bucket right on the smeltery is it the drain I think it’s

The drain nope that didn’t work I just poured that out oh my goodness I know there’s a wage you can put it into maybe you have to use like a pipe or something oh man I don’t know this is gonna work for real trade so we got the destabilized redstone in

Another portable tank and we are gonna try and pull out of that and put into here I need to break a block so I can actually place this fluid thing the fluid node where I need it so if I hold shift I do that does not look like it

Connects interesting I thought you could put fluid into these things but maybe you can’t can we oh it’s in the it’s in here can I get it out of this thing now nope might have a problem okay you let me grab this portable tank we’ll stick that

Guy right there okay so it does pour it in this way maybe you have to put it in through where the faucet is hmm I gotta play around with this for a minute see if we can get this to work I thought there was a we could do that but maybe

This is mod has been updated so that no longer is a thing you can do try putting that here and I can’t reach it break another block does that work there it is okay so it has to go maybe it’s because we have the drain on there whatever maybe it has to

Go in through that one particular side but we do have the redstone in here now so the next problem is how do we get our molten silver out of there I think we can actually just reverse the flow just like this and there we go

Wow what a pain to get that to work in the smell tree I was probably doing something wrong here but we ended up getting what we needed so that only makes four ingots which is not too much but I think that’s actually what we needed right for the pleat it’s a lot of

Work to try and get this one little thing going here yeah we needed four of those all right let me go and cast out our our materials here this will also get us one step closer on that quest where he needed to make the exotic

Metals but yeah let me go and do this and make our plate and we will be right back guys all right so the plate frame is now made this is like the most ridiculous thing that I’ve had to do to try and get something to be crafted

Before so we’re gonna set the input to the top of this machine here actually I think we have to change modes whoops change mood so we’re gonna fill up this tank I think is that right I think that’s right and maybe we have to wrench where is my crescent hammer I think you

May have to wrench this thing blue there it is okay well we got it pressing the buttons and some random method ended up making that work I guess we didn’t have to switch this over this mood right here but anyway we got our impulse pleat

Let’s set this down okay so it is set to that mood let me turn on okay so however moves off and now I just balance endlessly on this thing which is pretty cool if I put hover mood on yeah it doesn’t really work does it okay well that’s kind of cool so the

Next question is how do we do this if I wrench it okay wrenching it changes the modes what’s the – mode mean hover off engine off Oh lever move like okay the – like that I can’t jump I can’t jump I move really slow on this so it’s kind of

Like a sucking motion and maybe it pushes downwards I’m not sure how that one works okay so there’s different modes right right right my right click shift right click shift wrench hmm I know there’s a way that you can get into the the commands of this thing maybe I have to

Do that other recipe that we were seeing here put the security lock on there in order to get to those options hmm I would have thought just right-clicking on it would be enough shift right clicking with that wrench takes it off okay well I will play around with this a

Little bit more and we’ll be back guys all right I got to figure it out guys I made all that single them and I upgraded this thing so it has the owner ability and like right after I did that I saw the thing where says hold shift and it

Says use a multimeter while sneaking to configure mm-hmm so that confused me because I think this is the only thermal expansion device that is like that where you need the multimeter to configure it everything else you just right click on mm-hmm so when you place this thing down

By default it all it does is kind of scoot you forward a little bit it has no upward thrust so if we take our multimeter we shift right click on it we can see some different options here so we have the angle we probably want that like a 45-degree angle or something

Let’s see what that does okay so that’s just like a little kind of jump boost with my super haste boots I go really fast to the air though yep that’s pretty cool okay so I think what we want to do whoops is let’s turn up

The momentum a little bit or I guess the force okay so we can only go up to three point five that is the Maximus what does that do okey okey let’s not die let’s not die don’t go further following uh that’s pretty awesome actually I like that okay so that’s excuse me

Forward how far you know I made this tape measure for building out things but I guess we can use it for this so how far is that that goes 22 blocks huh I wonder let’s see can we make this thing go further if we change the angle down a

Little bit I don’t know 30 what does that do okay well actually I was holding forward let’s not do that okay so that’s excuse me forward about two more blocks by changing the angle down we don’t go quite as high let’s try changing the angle up a little bit let’s go 55 maybe

Okay well that shoots me up we higher but it’s definitely not as far so I guess you know we can make these further out as long as I’m running I’m pressing forward the entire time because then we can go pretty far out okay so that’s good to know so we actually have a

Little bit of configurability here let’s give another thing for where we’re gonna build our platforms okay so that’s pretty cool I like that a lot then we can scoot forward quite a bit further than that if we hold forward down maybe we should try that without the the super

Fast boots cuz I don’t know if we’re gonna have those for forever and I’d hate to build something that requires us to have those yeah that kind of yeah that’s something we’re probably gonna need having Heath Center boots but hey seven is a little bit extreme okay so

The next thing I want to do I want to start building out some more of these platforms we know we can go a pretty high this thing will shoot us up relatively high so you know 15 10 15 20 blocks up no problem alright so let me

Go ahead and get some materials going here I might try build one more platform and we’ll be right back guys alright guys so I got another platform meat over here and I mean things a the same exact size as this one I was thinking we would

Make them different sizes and I kind of wanted them like often corners and things like that the problem is like these plates they only go how you know the cardinal directions they don’t go diagonally so I don’t know how we do that I mean I guess we could have these

Plates going up to like a small little platform and then you could hop over to like the bigger one we might do that if we expand out beyond these but I got this guy set up I did find out the multimeter it’s what you use got this

Guy’s set up to you 2.8 on the force and 35 on the angle and what that does is allow us to walk on that plate in with our hover mode turned off on our jetpack anyway it’ll bring us right up to this platform perfectly now it is set up so

If we don’t have our silver boots on so we’re just Vann illest aisle or whatever no movement speed increase we still make it up there I was like the most important thing if we do have the silver boots on though let’s see put these back

On and we run forward we kind of run into the wall a little bit and I think if we do that well I was doing it earlier and somehow I was like hitting this edge and not coming back over but yeah as long as you’re just holding

Forward that’s fine so I’m not too worried about that you know another thing guys I’ve had this title scroll in my inventory since we got that as reward like four five six episodes ago I can’t remember now and I’ve been meaning to tell you guys I found out what to do

With this thing but I just keep forgetting about it yeah right here there’s a little equipment button and I knew I saw something before we could put a scroll and right there I’m not really sure what this thing does a seeker of treasure is this okay control right click to link this in

Equipment menu I’m not really sure what all the different things are it looks like that’s the tinkers glove maybe these are all the different tinkers things the bobbles okay so that’s kind of cool shows us our V discount if when we get into thumb craft stuff our armored count

I guess our attack I’m not sure what that is that movement speed that might be movement speed yeah I don’t know what this guy is I’m not sure what those three things are either hmm but yeah it looks like that’s our baubles and this is our other armor stuff from wherever

Oh you know what maybe that gets rid of the whole tinker’s menu tab maybe that’s why this thing is all weird like that okay anyway so yeah title scroll goes here I don’t think it actually does anything other than just gives us that title seeker of treasure I could be

Wrong though I don’t know anything about that mod so maybe it gives us some kind of a looting bonus or something anyway guys so we got the second platform set up over here we got that thing set up so we’ll move us over here the only thing

Is I don’t know how we’re gonna get down obviously I can just run off there and hit down here but I take like three or four hearts worth of damage from falling damage so yeah that’s something else we’ll have to figure out going forward so I think maybe let’s take a look at

Our quest book see if there’s something that we can do in our quests you know I think somebody said in the comments of last episode that if we do storage wars it will unlock stuff from the applied energistics so I’ll unlock some quests down here and let’s take a look real

Quick storage wars do any of these things say the unlock quests elsewhere unlocked one quest elsewhere okay so maybe it’s these guys that do it I’m not sure but looks like we got some crafting to do so this wants us to make one filing cabinet and I’ll give us three

More that’s actually something I think it’s worth it a filing cabinet is pretty inexpensive six iron and three chests so let’s go make one of those real quick okay you have some wood down here so just me go eat chess okay so we will do that little iron like so there’s one

Filing cabinet okay so that’ll give us three more now the filing cabinets are good because you can put in multiple of the same type of item with different damage values for instance of bows this is something that’s been really bugging me like our chest fills up over here and most of it

Is bows I just got done throwing a whole bunch of these out but like if we take all these guys even though there are different damage values and they’ve got different enchantments on them they all fit in the filing cabinet which is pretty awesome I think you can also

Break it and retains its inventory oh I can’t get it now give me yeah pretty sure you can break it retains its inventory which is also really awesome yeah that’s pretty much all there is to say about that guy so we get the filing cabinets mean Bilbo’s storage

I saw this mod in here earlier it’s going through all the different mods what does this thing called Baggins is right okay so chef right click on that we’ll put that down here and only show these so this one this to me what you wanted was it that I want us to make

Gray bag so a gray bag is gray wool plus some string and a chest we do have an extra chest over here great all right so it’s wool wool wool string and one of these chests and there we go gray bag at tier one so what’s this guy look like

It’s smaller than a regular chest but I guess that’s convenient that we can put stuff in there right I assume that’s I can’t put the family cabinets in there I can’t put the bucket in there I can’t put how so what can you put in here blocks that’s not going in there

Shift click oh let’s read the quest book perhaps you like taking your inventory with you craft some bags and you can do just that of course there is a condition each bag only allow items from specific mods or or dictionary types in them ok but how do we know let’s claim that

Morning how do I know which bag holds which item I don’t know so how do I find that out hmm so what does a brown bag hold can i put anything in the brown bag click lick lick lick lick lick nope it doesn’t want anything does that hold like wood ok the

Brown bag holds wood but what is a grey bag hold I would have to imagine stone but stone brick won’t go in there what about regular vanilla smooth stone no that won’t go in there either so I don’t know I guess that’s a mod that I’m gonna have go look up cobblestone nope

All right well we made that thing that unlocks spiffy satchels and backpacks all right so let’s look at a satchel as an alternative to bags you also the option of the very stylish satchel for storing items inside an inventory inside and inventory what okay I don’t understand what that is

So let’s just take a look oh this is thermal expansion stuff I didn’t even know about these before interesting okay so requires wool some tin and some leather that dad alright so here is a satchel and that holds one row worth of items and we could put everything in there right

Yeah there’s no limitations of what we could put in there okay so that’s a little bit better in my opinion let’s take the wool out of there so I don’t lose it so hard and satchel we can upgrade all right so ten nuggets and some invar and I assume that give us one

More room of stuff reinforce and resonant hum rate very cool so I’ll give us another satchel as a reward and backpacks another option for portable storage is provided by the be lord backpacks can be set to auto pick up items that fit in them or to auto dump

The items inside a chest the space is limited larger versions require work with bees diggers backpack what does this thing look like so a couple of stone and a couple of wool and four string so there’s a diggers backpack that says 15 slots you can’t put it that

In there we can’t put that in there I think this only allows a cobblestone Yeah as I pick it up it goes directly in here huh interest okay so that’s kind of cool I like it so let’s take a look back here and that’s gonna give us an adventurers backpack and then we can choose between a miner’s and a foresters I assume the Forester is

Is gonna pick up logs and saplings and things like that which we don’t really need so miners is probably gonna be the one we’re gonna want okay now I just gotta make sure I keep these things out of my inventory because things are gonna go in here I’m not gonna realize it and

Then I’m gonna be all upset trying to figure out where all of my items are okay so I think I’m gonna stick these backpacks in this chest back here put all of them in there okay there’s nothing in any of those things crazy crazy did that unlock anything I

Didn’t see it those quests actually unlocked anything no they did not okay so we will continue on looking at that stuff in the future for now I think we’re gonna go ahead and call this an episode we got a little bit more of our base done I got another platform up here

I’ll probably end up moving the tree farm up to this one then we’ll make another one for all of our machine areas like our lava production or power production kind of things I think we’ll just kind of keep the same theme like we had the the one down there for the trees
