What’s up everybody welcome back to another episode of her back on the hermit craft server oh yeah guys so I’ve been doing some stuff around here check it out see this room and then you see this room notice anything different that’s right this rooms lit and there’s No torches we don’t also what else is cool we could hit pee and then you’d see any of the dark spots yeah that’s right the well the pee thing is from my dark helmet giving us night vision but yeah I went around in this room here and I think I went over Through this area yeah all the way down got rid of all the torches yes I started using the chisel and bits for glowstone I don’t know why I still have that torch there that shouldn’t be there you know I probably cuz I never did this block here We could do this one together so I can show you guys how this works but yeah everywhere there’s light there’s actually a grass block chisel and bit so you can see that here yeah so if we get rid of the grass block right next to you Can see it’s like all grass except for this layer that is all glowstone so I was thinking to myself you know we were using glowstone looks previously in another playthrough right and that’s how we we get cheap lighting one piece of glue so and make like 32 nooks and you Can light up everything great well you can’t really do that unfortunately which is a little bit I was trying it so for instance that we take this chisel here and I keep pressing see instead of my Alt key for the radial menu if we go Like single bit and we get rid of that bit here and we replaced that with a glowstone bit yeah the glow sounds there but yeah you can see the still we got the red dots here doesn’t provide any illumination at all yeah it’s kind of Weird I don’t know why well I guess I kind of know why they did that but I don’t know why they did that so pretty much what I do is a go down two blocks like so two pixels I guess you can grab glowstone like a so you want to switch This over to drawn region like we were doing the last time and you can’t draw this out like so oh okay well uh I guess you got to do wrinkly cannot left-click let me draw this grasp lean back then we’ll draw the glowstone back there you go so you see what the full Thing here it lights up now if you take one of those little things away well that’s the whole thing yeah if you take like one of those bits away or you don’t do the full glowstone it doesn’t light up it’s kind of weird huh so it seems Like you have to have the entire plane in order well I guess most of the plane in order for it to do the glowstone all right for it to produce light but anyway I’ve gone ahead and just done one single layer like that then you just cover that Completely over with grass you don’t even know there’s light there it just looks like a piece of grass so that’s pretty awesome now it doesn’t have to be the top layer you could do in the very bottom of the grass block I would imagine that the light would transfer through just the Same way but that’s the way I’ve been doing it yeah it’s a nice clean look we still see the nice grass and we don’t have to look at torches so I like that a lot although it is a little time-consuming you guys are also telling Me that in the the chisel and bits mod that there is like a blueprint or something I haven’t actually taken a look at this thing yet but apparently with a blueprint River wherever it is I don’t know one of these things maybe anyway with the blueprint you can copy Your chisel and bit design so you can make a whole bunch of these grass blocks and instead of like drawing it out every single time yeah you could just make a bunch of them and just place them down that would probably be a little bit easier than the way that I’m doing it Right now but we don’t have a huge area anyway I’m probably gonna go through and replace all of the light in here with the glowstone cuz I think that is much better it’s a lot cleaner who likes looking at torches pretty much nobody likes looking at torches let me get to It and we’ll be right back guys all right guys well that was a lot easier than I thought it was gonna be I never got a chance to play around with this and I decided it was a good idea to do it so I made myself a positive a chisel Design yeah one of those is a piece of paper a piece of lapis and a bucket of water super cheap so you make one of those to get one of these and then you I think you shift right click on whatever block you want so you got to find your chiseled Whereas like this one you shift right-click it on there and then it learns that so yeah when you hold shift you can see that this changes shape from the paper to a grass block without the biome color and then you can see there’s glowstone in it as well Right so pretty easy to do I get to just walk up to a block that you want to be replaced yeah you just right-click on there and there you go you wear the torch and that’s illuminated chisel and bits grass block provided you have all the pieces inside your bit bagger in Your inventory or whatever it should be able to do that just fine apparently get chisel granted some al not sure how that happened anyway um so that’s really cool I saw there was a radial menu that you can do so you have imposed replace additive and placement so I guess Additive means if you have like partial bits you can add that to an already existing block impose I’m not really sure what that does that like invert anyway replaces the one that’s defaulted to this is the one that we want cuz we’re just replacing grass blocks with The glue stone version yeah so as far as lag goes I’m not really sure how much like frame rate lag these chisel and bits blocks add maybe it’s better for frame rates just to have torches everywhere but torches ah they’re just so ugly nobody wants to look at them so We’ll just go ahead and replace all of our torches while the blocks that are torches or sitting on with these chisel and bits grass blocks yep they provide light a little bit more light than the torches to actually write they provide late it looks just like grass it’s so Much better alright guys so you might have noticed that I had a gravestone in my inventory earlier yeah I died just a little bit ago when I first logged onto the server I was noticing that we’re experiencing a decent amount of tik lag yeah so you can see tick lag by certain Things like these banners for instance you see how they kind of like wave back and forth in the wind when the server needs to catch up you’ll see that getting really jerky or kind of like bounced back so it won’t be in a fluid motion anymore the way I saw it actually As I was just looking at something I think I was looking up emerald yeah I was looking up emeralds I was looking at how you can make emeralds and then yeah like these for instance so it shows the the furnace doing this thing like we’ll jump back like that a little bit So we just experienced just a small amount of server lag I think ethos on either he’s like flying really fast or loading a chunk or there might be some other reason doesn’t matter but anyway I saw that that was happening in the head this was jumpy Back like constantly I was like what the heck is going on so you can do commands here you can see all these other commands that are go into creative mode to fix it but you can do commands here like forge TPS if you’re administrator on the server anyway and you can see all The loaded dimensions you used to be able to do /co fh i think space TPS anyway so you can see all the different dimensions we have loaded in all these numbers you want 20 TPS otherwise you’re getting lag you see right now they’re all at 20 so like this banner for Instance it’s kind of going nicely it does bounce every now and then but whatever so anyway I saw this the dimension 6 here this was at 10 TPS yeah and that was causing the entire server to lag mm-hmm so I just went over to dimension 6 which is the Zuma’s Dimension there were so many entities there there was like a pigment spawner I think that was not collecting all the the drops and there’s like over 1200 entities there just hanging out it was so spawning monsters over and over again so I went there but we have creative Flight in this pack right so we have like Angel Rings for instance you double tap and you fly right yeah if you tried double tapping when you have like 1 FPS or lower doesn’t really work yeah so i warped there you there’s another command here from RF tools RF t TP this command Here so you can warp to a dimension you do our FTTP space TP the dimensions of 6 and then went to like 0 200 0 just so I’m like way up in the air at 0 0 in the dimension I couldn’t I couldn’t fly yep I was in creative mode I have this Creative ring on or the the creative flight angel ring or whatever couldn’t fly fell down to my death lost everything but I got the I finally got rid of all the lag there so that’s nice but yeah there’s one more death now because of trying to solve a problem on The server yeah I should have went to create a move before I went there but I did not I did not I wasn’t expecting to not be able to fly yeah that command apparently when you use it even if you are flying and makes you stop flying When you get there oh look at this I’m just noticing this now those red dots on these chisel blocks I think that might be a mistake it’s how can a monster spawn on that that’s not an airspace right huh weird anyway so yeah we got another death on our on our death Counter because of me trying to help see the server oh well alright guys so another thing that I want to work on today we have collected a lot of wars rate yeah we’ve collected all these wars so far from our quarry but they’re just saying they’re in the or form we need to Get these things processed I would like to start using refined storage to help get that done also we have our machines laid out in such a way that’s like really bad yeah I kind of want to move these over three blocks we don’t have enough room for all the machines here so We might do a second layer up top I’m not sure but I want the ender io machines here and I want the under IO machines to process our ores so I want to use refined storage to make an interface the interface is going to sit on top of our sag mill here the Signal we’re gonna have set to input from the top so it can pull blocks from the top right and we’re gonna pull blocks from the interface if this thing ever gets made look at me what are we waiting on and it’s almost done that’s okay yeah so with the interface thing on Top of it we can set the exports will have items down here ready to be pulled out you set the filter here actually let’s just go ahead and do something like this so you can see better so yeah we can put like copper over here oh that’s we want copper where there Ding it and that will provide the ore here so when that’s sitting on top of the SAG Miller should see this and be like hey we got orders it all starts slurping that into itself crushing it down and then we can have it I’ll eject over into Our alloys smelter here which will do the processing now as far as this goes I guess we could put like an importer or something on the bottom of this and pull it back into our refine storage system I guess that would work pretty well I haven’t tried doing this yet with the Refined storage so we’ll go ahead and check this out see if there’s any other quirks about this particular mod that I don’t know and then I think this spot right here we’re gonna fill up full of more of these crafters and I’ll have to make some more of these chisel what Plink sound like this but yeah I think that’s what we’re gonna do so me do a little bit more here off-camera we’ll be right back guys alright guys so this seems like a pretty simple setup so we just got the interface up here and it’s on top of the segment segment is gonna Be pulling from the top like we were talking about before so you got that set to pull and then we have it set to you push on the right-hand side over here this is set to just push to the top so once it’s done processing stuff it Should push it up to the top into the item conduit here which is gonna go back into the interface I believe that’s how that’s gonna work and yeah we should have a complete cycle so let’s go and give this a try and then messing around with chisels and bits I’ve been trying To get rid of all the the bits that we had in our bit bag here and I got like random bits everywhere hey wait let’s grab I guess we’ll do the copper like we’re looking at a minute ago so if we put a filter here for copper and like so That should do that yes and that is now processing the copper so that’s also going to generate cobblestone like we’ve seen here and that cobblestone is going to be smelt this will end up with a lot of smooth stone in the system as well which is fine another thing we’re gonna Want to do is since we have a bunch of these Flint we can also set one of these filters to be Flint and then I’ll always stock up our Sag mill full of Flint or at least it should rain Genet isn’t that how that works I thought this could pull From the top maybe it does that when that’s completely fallen maybe it does that when they can’t process anything further I’m really not sure how that works maybe Flint has to be the first one let’s try moving this a little bit so we do that and we do Ants do this security this one is that Paul inflicted on okay so it has to be first so it pulls the very first item in the slot and then it pulls beyond that so Flint you want the first one so I’ll fill that slot off first and then you Can fill it up full of eat of whatever other items you like so now we got copper or cooking we don’t have to worry about that we could do iron and then tin osmium is maybe I’m at the double check on that lead we’re probably gonna want Coal definitely gonna want and then I’ll go through and figure out anything else yeah osmium I think there might be a different way we have to do that I’ll have to double check that in a minute so we’ll do gold next and then we will do iron I’ll probably put in some upgrades Here so this thing pulls the items in a little bit faster yeah you can see it’s slowly doing this one now it’s backing up with the copper that’s really weird how it does that so you have osmium lead it’s fine woops that’s the wrong one we Want that here and then tin cool alright so we’ll go ahead and let this thing just cook this will be doing stuff all the time looks like this is starting to back up a little bit but that’s fine not a big deal yeah that has about as fast As an upgrade in there as we can go see how all of our tours will just be automatically processed which is really good so as far as our power goes okay so that’s jumping us up about 400 more I think our system right now they were Fine storage is using about 200 or F all attached to about 350 is how much we’re using ish yeah that’s not so bad they’ll go through process all of our horse eventually when we get that all done we should just be able to turn our quarry On whenever we want to and it’ll just automatically process everything that collects as it collects it which will be really nice the only other thing is we’re getting items like redstone oh no actually I’m sorry we are not getting redstone lapis no that’s right we don’t have so touched With just money there’s normally so I guess we don’t really have to worry about that but if we do ever put the silk touch modify your upgrade on that quarry over there we will have to look at a way to automatically fortune those words but I guess right now we don’t Have to worry about this is all we got to do which is really awesome and easy so I’m go ahead and make a conduit facade for this will paint at the same the wall we won’t see that cable anymore I’ll be quite nice so yeah we ended up With a 6 wide area in only 5 machines I don’t know what machine we’re gonna put here but I separated this license place in the sole binder over here since those are brown machines away from the blueish green machines anyway I thought that made sense so let me go ahead and do a Little bit more off camera guys and we’ll be right back all right guys well I just got done fighting some more these monsters over here from our aluminum flower are floating one right here hey you guys have told me in the comments that any of these flowers that you make With a redstone root you can power with redstone have a redstone source nearby and they’ll stop it from working yeah so I can turn this thing on and off just by flicking this lever which is pretty cool so yeah if I flicked that on we’ll get a Monster there’s a spider I can turn it back off we don’t get any more monsters let me just go ahead and kill the spider real quick there we go cool yeah we’re getting a bunch of this different stuff now it’s hoping to get some more things I think there’s other upgrades that you Can get like a crafting table upgrade or whatever for your inventory so when you go in here you get another button so you can open up a 3×3 crafting grid and unfortunately I haven’t been able to get one of those upgrades we did get some more he’s under bombs which we saw Before and a whole bunch of this various other stuff which we’ve pretty much seen all of this stuff before we got some of these illuminating ones which I assume great clicking to block the spawn light yeah I don’t know if I’ve actually seen that worked before but I’m sure we can Figure out what that does so anyway we got lots of good stuff yeah I was trying to see if we get any more unique things in haven’t really seen anything else but then as over he’s like you know the ocean looks pretty clear and I realized Yeah I had that night vision on right from our dark armor and that got me to thinking you know in the ocean here there are treasure chests that spawn yeah there’s one right here I’ve been meaning to show these a while ago and I never did but yeah you get these random Treasure creates these are from actually additions I think you can right-click on them to open yeah so we just got puffer fish a fish and then three gold ingots which is pretty cool I like that so you can kind of fly around in the local oceans nearby I collect stuff I did see that there is one of these things are here think this is like a nature core kind of a thing I think it’s from random things I think I don’t remember oh yes oh you know what that shift right click we’ve got that in Your inventory but I guess not oh I’m drowning let me go back up here real quick up to the surface okay so what do we get here we got some beans we got some magic beans blue orchids vines and potatoes yeah you can get a bunch of different random stuff out of those Things I don’t know why this is not breaking or do you have the Chef’s right click on the lock this is just a normal chest so I’m not sure what the deal with that is can I break it no that’s gonna take forever I’m gonna run out of air Before we do that know what let me do one of these numbers now I’m curious actually does that not breaking cuz there’s not a block underneath it Jeffrey click no so the other ones they could be chef right click on them they just break this is an actual chest oh You know what this is a nature chest that’s what the difference is this is a chest that spawns because of this nature core thing get some more food so that is different than the other loot that we’ve seen underneath here okay so that makes sense now you have me confused I thought That was just another one these random loot crate’s that you can find this way you can’t right click on it there’s one there and one here yeah you get them all over the place and they just got all sorts of random stuff in here yeah okay So yeah we get salmon salmon is a thing that we needed for making those extra hearts and I am still interested in doing that so let’s pop open this other one that I can see right here and I’ll probably go through and check out a few More a little bit later we have some name tags off that one another one of these whatever GM zoos are clownfish raw fish yeah all sorts of good stuff so yeah those little containers those loot crate’s or whatever they are I didn’t see what the actual name is are not so Bad and they just spawn with the normal terrain generation if you can see underwater yeah you should be able to get to them pretty easily anyway so extra hard containers are a thing though I wanted to work on and we go oh my goodness the frames this happens every Once in a while the frames just get it wonky if three hey maybe I’m not sure what’s going on something something turning our frames here oh it’s better okay yeah so the extra hard things are what I wanted to look at as well I figured what it’s called heart heart Container rate so we needed emeralds and pumpkin pie raw rabbit and all this other stuff here I needed to go get myself a cow if we’re gonna make cakes I want to be able to get milk I believe yeah right here we can see that you can Use fresh milk for that too fresh milk I believe you get milk bucket in your inventory you can turn into four of those I think we did that a little while ago but I would like to get a cow over here and see if we can automatically Milk it and turn that milk bucket into the four of the fresh milk that way we save the iron yeah and the other ones you get four times as much so let me go ahead and get some more stuff done here and get a sole vial see if we can catch Ourselves a cow and we’ll be right back guys all right guys so when I got myself a cow in a sole vial so what we want to do is be able to extract milk from the cow and we want to convert that milk into fresh milk yep so that’s what our Current plan is right now so I got myself a mechanical user this is a block from extra utilities – uh-huh so it’s kind of like an autonomous activator you got a lot of different options here by default it says generic click you got place block use item on block activate Block with item use item entity right so those are the options here Wien left or right click and then we can say random slot op upper left slot only and that’s the only two options then we can also do risk of signal and then it’s got speed Upgrades I’m not really sure what the speed upgrades actually do I’m sure that they didn’t speed it up somehow I just don’t know how anyway so those are the different options we have now there is a problem with using the mechanical users and FTP utilities if we go to clean Chunks here you can see that we are inside areas that are claimed by the hypnotised team by me right so normally the mechanical user won’t be able to do anything here because it’s like hey I can’t do anything these blocks are protected so there is a command you can Do as this one right here such FTB team config ft bu da fake underscore players space true wait so it’s saying hey there’s a what is this thing a mechanical user it’s a fake player I’ll allow it to do stuff in my chunks okay so that’s what that does so I just Enabled that to true so let’s place down our cow and let’s check this out so we will put some fences around like this to keep the cow contained the cow may jump up here you know any of the block let me grab some kind of a cobblestone Or something like that that should be fine maybe yeah I don’t know if the cows would be able to pass fine through there I don’t think so so anyway we can put the cow right here cow yep so on here we want to put a bucket in the upper left Slot so we’ll set that to upper left slot we want to set this thing to entities so it’s going to look for an entity it’s gonna use the item in the upper left slot which is the milk and then it’s gonna right-click on it okay so pretty simple you can see that our Bucket turned into milk pretty easy so we’re also gonna want some item conduit uh yeah I think we’re gonna do that and then we will do a mechanical crafter another extra utilities machine right next to it and this is just a crafting grid nothing super special here So what we can do is take our milk bucket out we can put it back like this and you can see it’s gonna turn the milk into this fresh milk right okay so now we got to do a little bit configuration here with our item conduits so we want To set this to both in a now we want to insert and extract we want always active in fact we’re gonna need to get ourselves a filter let’s see we got I think we need two of these yeah no crafting so good I don’t know what is This one set to I don’t I don’t think it says what it said to okay so we want to extract on this one let’s see we want to extract fresh milk weightless right okay and then that’s gonna be always active insert on green that’s fine okay so this One we want to set to in out as well it out we want to extract the empty bucket which we don’t have here can I drink this okay so we want to extract the empty bucket from here uh extract empty bucket whitelist that okay and I think that’s a bailout we got a Deal we need to say always active so this should milk the cow which should get extracted into here this should craft it to the fresh milk and then send that bucket back now the only thing is I don’t know if it’s gonna go to this First lot we might have to put junk in these other slots so it won’t do anything but let’s find out so we do that that looks like that is working pretty good we are getting fresh milk cows having a good time look at the cow hi you’re having fun Aren’t you I’m sure you are so now we have infinite milk that’s pretty awesome so this does use grid power from extra utilities although if we look at the GP the grid power there we can see that it’s just a zero the entire time I think If we go to extra utilities we hover over something that has great power we’ll be able to see if it’s using anything yell it doesn’t look like it’s using any grid power at all but you need grid power for these blocks I think or maybe it’s all you need grid power if You want to speed them up do have any speed upgrades let’s see what those do maybe we can make this go super fast then we put say six in our three in here okay so now that is using grid power a little bit faster okay so we are have they crafting going Faster we’re doing that faster I don’t know if that’s actually going faster though okay so anyway we need one more thing a quantum storage do we have any we have one here by a fuel one with water I should probably put these on auto craft these are really really nice So a quantum storage alright so I’ll do one of those and I think where we will need one more of these things quantum storage we’ll go here hope I just covered over my late can’t tell where those things are so this is gonna be inserting and we want Also on a filter so let’s make one more go basic filter we’ll put this on insert filter and we want to only allow fresh milk in here so I’m going to put one of those in here to make sure nothing else can go in there and we’ll set that on the whitelist Okay I think that’s all we got to do so this one we can also tell it to extract I’m trying to think this is gonna need like a blacklist on the insert isn’t it so we don’t put fresh milk into our mechanical user so we might have to do That let’s make one more another filter why not is there an easier way to do this I think we need a filter on the insert and that would be an empty bucket we want here so let me grab that okay so there we go so on the insert here we want a filter To whitelist empty bucket only we have a filter on the extract for the milk bucket okay so this one we have insert I think this one will need a fill no that one should need a filter so we’re gonna be extracting out the milk as well the Fresh milk and that should be going over here yeah I think that’s all we have to do okay cool so now we’re caught of crafting it we’re Auto getting a milk we’re Auto crafting into the fresh milk and it’s Auto being put into our quantum storage unit which is awesome I mean alternatively we could also just put the wires from here to here on the top or something so it’s not connected to all three but this works just fine as well awesome okay so bark it goes back in here make sure everything’s still working correctly something broke I’m not sure why that’s Not working now on the extract we’re going whitelisting down that maybe it’s gonna finish up the fresh milk and that’s gonna move the bucket over yeah that’s exactly what it is okay well that seems to be working pretty good for me we’re gonna have unlimited milk to Make cakes and whatever else we need for these hearts in the future which is gonna be pretty awesome I’m happy with that I think we’ll leave that here for now next time we’ll look at trying to get the rest of this stuff crafted up I would like to have some Kind of way that we can auto craft these things all the time I don’t know how we’re gonna get emeralds automatically maybe we’ll do like villager spawning or something like that we’ll figure it out but anyway
