What’s up everybody welcome back to another episode of Herman pack on the hermit craft server oh yeah guys so last few episodes maybe when working with this mechanism stuff we have been trying to get the 5x or processing online we’ve made some pretty good progress we were

Able to get 5 crystals I believe is what it was out of one of these machines which one is it it’s this one over here by crystals out of the chemical crystallizer yeah I kind of rearrange machines try to make things a little bit more organized so we got like three

Separate stations now but then now I’m realizing after I rearranged everything that we already did in the previous episode we still need to take those crystals and crush them and do some other things there’s like five more steps we got to do in order to get usable material out of them so a

Question was brought up in the previous comment to the last episode after we started getting all this stuff up and we realized how much power was taking in all this somebody asked is it worth doing all this for 5x or processing I mean you just step another quarry and

All of those kinds of things where you can pretty much just get unlimited resources all the time coming in even if you aren’t getting the maximum amount per resource no no it’s not really worth it this is what we’re doing because I have never done it before and I wanted

To do it and just check out some more mechanism get more familiar with these machines so let me show you what this is looking like underneath now the wires are I guess the wires the pipes of the tubes are a little bit more organized we do have three of these reservoirs it

Might make sense to have one central water location all growing through a tesseract or I guess one of these dimensional transceivers it might make sense to do that but you know I think we’re fine it doesn’t really matter each one of these has its own water source

And none of them is gonna be pulling too much water so I think we’re good oh yeah this looks a lot more nice of the way it was set up previously it was quite the mess and I was not happy with it tubes are connecting and all this so people

Had said I believe in the comments of the last episode as well if you want to connect two of these different gas tubes next to each other all you got to do is separate them with the different color tubing so I did this the advanced pressurized

Tube in order to make one of these you take each of the basic ones and you wrap it around one of those advanced alloys or whatever it’s like the redstone and the iron in the one machine I can’t think of the names of these machines

Anyway so we made it we got the thing let’s look at this where these call tubes or these called high pressure pressurized tube tube so we have the red ones there and we have the green ones here great so we got the red one if we

Put a green one next to it it can excellent so that does not work and there’s no way to separate these that tray pulling out the old configurator and trying to disconnect like these from each other you can’t disconnect them like it they either connect or they’re

Not there there is no way to just disconnect the certain pieces like you can with for instance the thermal dynamic pipes or I guess these ender io things where you can connect them and then like tell them separate yeah you just can’t do that with these mechanism pipes unfortunately maybe you could do

That back in 1.7 I don’t know I haven’t really used a mod and that extensively but anyway I kind of rearranged things a little bit so the the pipes aren’t quite touching each other and yeah things are running around the way they need to be

So I think it’s good the way it is for now we are gonna have to add in the other machines to take those crystals like the Azmi of crystals let’s take a look at these real quick we take the Azmi crystals we’re gonna have to put those into a chemical injection chamber with

Some hydrogen chloride which is convenient because we already have hydrogen chloride being made somewhere one of these machines this one yeah this one’s making our hydrogen chloride right here so we can just tap off this pipe and run it into this machine that requires it the chemical injection

Chamber with the crystal then we’ll get the osmium shard I think that’s probably gonna be our first step let’s go and make one of these we’ll get that set up and we’ll be right back alright guys well I went ahead I just ran some more of our pressurize tube with the hydrogen

Chloride all the way over here and then back up into the side of this machine now the reason why I ran into the side of the machine I was originally gonna run underneath but we’re gonna have another machine right next like I was saying we gonna have to have

Another machines this is gonna eject into and this other machine does require oxygen if we have these tubes touching each other it’s just gonna be bad news I don’t think anything else is gonna affect the other machines that we’re gonna need here but anyway we now have a chemical injection chamber with some

Hydrogen chloride so we can take one of our osmium crystals just stick in here and just make sure it’s gonna do what it says it should do which it looks like it’s doing right okay so I think we’re all good with that so the next thing we

Should probably take a look at is these crystals what else they need to go into so this is gonna result in osmium chard and the osmium short needs to go into a purification chamber yep the turns and osmium a clump do we have purification chamber we do we have

That amount of craft okay I mean just go and make one of those real quick oh we are missing steel that’s always something isn’t there a lot of these recipes I need to alright I’m sorry a lot of these machines I need to get hooked up to be Otto crafting so we can

Do recipes with them through Otto crafting yeah especially a lot of like the alloys and stuff we were talking about that just a little bit ago with this metallurgic infuse or where you put redstone and iron in here yeah it’s the same machine that you need to make steel

Where you put in coal and iron iron well just do like a full stack of this in coal that turns it into like the enriched iron I think you do it again with another stack of coal and that turns it into steel yeah and Richard

Iron okay well let me go ahead and turn that into some steel we’ll make the next machine and we will continue on guys all right guys well I wanted to get that steel made that’s the only thing we needed for our purification chamber so now all we need to do is get the

Material from our chemical injection over into it so should just be a simple thing of setting these things so it says eject off that is the correct outputs will do eject on this one needs to be set to input great now you should have them okay everything’s set here we need

To give this thing some power and we need to give it some oxygen so let’s go ahead we will put this right like this and I will but how do I turn this off always active con doing that is there a conduit under energy isn’t there ‘we can disable this

Did they remove that functionality is you can’t disable power conduit maybe I fit that with the wrench anyway let’s stop worrying about that we need to give this thing some oxygen so another thing we need to do is kind of move these cables around just a little bit I’m

Getting lag every time I place and break these and Rayo cables I’m not sure what causes that so we can grab some pressurized tube and we’re going oh I have some on me we need to grab our oxygen now the oxygen is I think it’s this one that’s water vapor hmmm oxygens

Over here somewhere is it this that looks like oxygen to me okay so all you got to do is tap off this thing and bring it over here which should not be a big deal so let me go ahead and run some of these oh man I don’t know how we’re

Gonna do this I’ll probably have to fix this up and clean this up a little bit like I did with this one I’d ran under the grill we put blocks on top just so it’s not oh I missed a spot never again everywhere I might run this

Down and then run that underneath that even further and then cool back up over here but for right now well make it ugly just to make sure this thing is gonna work yeah I want these to Bing’s in such a way that I can walk under here and not

Have to kind of like get around that so I’ll probably go underneath or whatever so how do we get back up here I think my hole is be closed off let’s just dig a new one for now it sounds like something’s happening oh yeah okay so the osmium short is now being turned

Into Jasmina clump so the use is on the clump we need to put them to a crusher so osmium clump will turn to the dirty stuff all right do we have crusher we don’t have that auto craft let me make one of those I’ll clean up this pipe a

Disabled apparently I would I don’t know why I didn’t see it if you keep clicking through it there is a disabled on it though so yeah the they don’t have to connect to those machines over there not that it really matters but anyway so now we’re getting this dirty stuff we need

To put this through one more machine and finally it’s going through the enrichment chamber this we do have on on auto craft I made sure of it so we got everything here okay so here’s an enrichment chamber this will be our last and final stop for our 5x processing

Yeah so it was quite the process to get here it’s not so bad getting here once you have this already set up because we can just use these same gases that we use previously just the oxygen and then the sodium something hydrogen chloride hydrogen chloride yep so anyway

Enrichment chamber so this needs to be said to accept from the left this needs to be set to eject to the right and auto eject and we are almost done let me grab a power cable here do one of those right click nope right click not with

The cable all right there is where I need to click yeah so in out extract insert disable I don’t know why I did see that previously so there we go there’s osmium dust it will end up getting five osmium dust per or which is pretty awesome it’s quite the involved process like I

Said yeah is it worth it I don’t know maybe on a map maybe in a world where you don’t have as much power as we do in this one or we don’t have quarries and you need to get a maximum amount of stuff out of each and every single piece

Maybe I think the final thing that we should do here is probably add like a furnace right some kind of a furnace to smelt it and then have it go into our refined storage system and the only thing we need to do is input or is here

And that’s it I think right but we still got to get it from this machine over here so maybe I should run some item conduit over so whatever we put in here it goes through this process and the crystals come over here going to here and they go all the way

Here maybe okay well let me go ahead and try and get some stuff set up here we’re gonna need the upgrades for all these machines the power and the speed upgrade so it goes a little bit faster yeah let me get some more stuff done we’ll be right back

Alright guys well I went ahead and made an energized smelter yep this is the mechanism a version of the furnace so it’s got all the same mechanism stuff we can put an upgrades over here change the configuration setting over here yep so we have this all set up this smelting

This energized smelter thing doesn’t run exceptionally fast even with fully upgrade if I remember if I remember correctly from when I played regrowth I think I used one of these in that particular mod pack but what I do know is that you can upgrade the energized

Smelter to a factory that way instead of having one input you can have three or five or seven or it’s something it can get pretty crazy with the different tiers of the factories so these machines aren’t outputting exceptionally fast right now so I don’t need a fast way to smelt it

But when we get these things fully upgraded yeah we might have to upgrade this to a factory I’m not sure yet we’ll have to see how this thing runs when we get everything connected together but I do have the item conduit over here set to extract mode the chemical crystal

Laser is set to a output on the front yep so that will be right through here and that’s set to the back input on this particular guy so if the cable the conduit does get the ends from the crystallizer it should go in here and complete the chain they’ll get smelted

And put into this interface that’s the idea anyway so we need to look at getting these machines upgraded right so we’re gonna need eight upgrades both for energy and speed in each one of these machines so we have five machines we need eight of them we need 40 of each of

Them so it’s quite a lot of stuff that we need a craft so I was thinking at this point we should look at doing some automations we should look at getting some patterns set up over here so we can tell the refined storage system hey you know what crafts up 160

Of those whatever the these guys are called one second let’s look real quick make up 160 of these if rich alloys yeah because we’re gonna need that many for all of these upgrades so in order to do this we need a redstone and iron in the metallurgic infuser so we’re gonna go

Ahead and get this thing automated let’s start so first things first so grab ourselves a crafter grab one of these guys and we’ll put it right there now if you guys remember correctly the white side needs to be facing whichever machine this crafter is pushing items into which would be the metallurgy

Confuse er which is below it so we need to go get ourselves a wrench and just click it a few times there we go yeah the machine looks like a piston right you get the piston basin you get the piston head kind of a thing anyway the

White part needs to face the machine that we’re pushing items into okay so we got that connected let’s go ahead and we will get one uh we’ll grab some cables here we’ll get this connected in the back I should just be able to run the

Wire right down like so okay I think we got that all set yeah this thing looks like it’s lit up now so this thing should have power perfect so now we need to give it a recipe so in order to make one of those alloys let’s go into here

We need an enriched alloy redstone and iron right here okay so we got all those things so we can go and make ourselves a processing pattern so in order to do this we need the redstone the iron or I guess reverse it from what I was actually clicking and

The enriched alloy goes there we can make the pattern so yes as the inputs and the outputs that looks perfect to me so we’ll go ahead and stick this guy right here into our crafter and if everything is correct we go in here and look at alloy we should be able to see

There isn’t a rich Dale way so let’s click start alright get everything going here no we have nothing going here empty there’s no items right so if you look at the configuration for this metallurgy confuse er you can see that we have an input for the top and then we have an

Infused purple for the bottom the infuse the purple that’s where you put your redstone right the redstone goes in the red cell goes into this tank and it fills up we got a little bit of buffer then we can put an item here and uses some of this to infuse that item right

Uh-huh so I think I’m not when I percent sure let’s check this out if we take this pattern and we switch this oh you know we have to shift right click it to empty and I think we just have to remake the pattern and we do this and we get

Rid of the redstone here do this I think that’s gonna work let’s so the system cancel that crafting that we’re just doing we put this right here do that and see make the alloy yeah look at that we have one iron so the the top slot the

Primary slide whatever that is the item input only has one slot and we’re trying to push two items in there and I think I don’t know for sure but I think that it’s like hey we don’t got enough space we can’t push the items and I think why

That’s why neither one of those items were here so this is gonna be an interesting thing this machine right here we need redstone in here we need whatever the other item is right here so I don’t think this is gonna be a case where we can reuse the same metallurgic

Infuser for everything that we need I kind of feel like we’re gonna need a one metallurgic infusion that’s always full of redstone we’re gonna need one metallurgic infuser that’s always full of coal and we’re gonna need like a third one for like the diamond dust and then maybe one for like something else

Is there more than those three things you put into them I don’t know we might end up with filling this up with three of the metallurgy confus errs okay so if we can push items all right we can push iron into this that’s fine we can do

Something like an export bus or whatever it’s called exporter let’s go I’ll craft one of those up well craft up an exporter will cancel this craft here my I don’t know if it’s the gate of my internet but something’s been lagging a recently for me on the server I don’t

Know if you guys have noticed this what are we current oh did I cancel the exporter crafting it lets tell if to make an exporter is it doing stuff down here ok so it is making these things we have a progress bar over here ok so it’s

Just make you that improve processor and we should have the exporter right so you take while these exporters and I think all we’re gonna tell the system do is to always export the stuff to the back of this machine so let’s switch this up so

The bag is infused and maybe we will put an interface below or an importer below it to suck the items up I don’t know how we’re gonna provide this thing energy if we do that we had so many different faces being used for things ok I’m

Trying to shift click this on there and won’t let me do that does this have to be its own cable ok right so that’s replaces the cable with itself alright so we got the exporter there we need to tell it to you export redstone I’ll probably put some speed upgrades in

There I don’t know how necessary that is just yet oh that looks like that should be fine so now if we tell the system to make ourself an alloy one of these I let’s say 10 go and craft those up yeah so now it’s crafting those up that’s

Quite nice but yeah like I said we need a way to get those items back out of the system hmm we only have so many faces available and if we’re gonna put another metallurgic infuser over on the side how are we gonna get these things powered yeah we’re running out of different

Options here so maybe maybe we’ll end up spacing these out a little bit we can take the power cable or we can put an end point here I don’t know we can take the power cable and run it here we can put an importer and use the chisel and

Bits for a facade for the front um you have an importer let’s go and craft up an importer I think we’ll do chisel and bits for the fur like a 4 side for the front and we’ll just pull items out of this left hand side here let’s go ahead

And do this we’ll say output and auto eject on ok so we’ll grab the importer which is done do one of those and we need one more cable like so okay so all those items should be pulled out not bad okay maybe a stack upgrade or some speed upgrades in there eventually

That should work just fine so this one’s always gonna be full of redstone so we have to make more metallurgy confuse errs I don’t yeah we don’t have those on autocrat so I’ll probably make a pattern for that we might stick him over here in this wall I mean we’re not really using

That wall for anything over there so it kind of makes sense I’ll go ahead and make a chisel and bits facade for this thing I think that should be just fine cool well we have part of the problem solved here we definitely need another metallurgic infuser because I do believe

We’re gonna need some of the other alloys and stuff like that very soon for our crafting wait wait let me go ahead and get some more stuff done we’ll be right back guys all right guys so we got all these machines now hooked up they are all with the 8 speed 8 energy

They’re all ready to go I’m curious to see how fast this stuff processes or if it’s worthwhile how much power choosing when everything is working let’s check it out so it all starts here at the chemical dissolution chamber with our sulfuric acid will put the osmium ore in

Here and you can see that is glowing quite quickly and that is going over here and making our osmium slurry pretty fast we are making the crystals yep that’s using thousand this is using I don’t know 80 RF that’s not so bad and this one is using 1.6 now you might

Notice that there’s a little bit of client-side lag here a little bit of framerate issues yeah these machines have an ambient lighting setting let me go and show you this real quick I’ve got a mod options if you type in MEC here so we can search by mechanism go right here I’m gonna

Config under client settings there’s an enable and ambient lighting this is what’s lighting up the wall and I’m lighting the wall as the machines turn on turn off this is the cause of a lot of the HUD client-side lags you’ll see with mechanism you’re gonna click that

Thing off and if you don’t like the sounds apparently there’s a button for that too I might press that button at some point in the future but there is also the muffling upgrade so you can turn office per machine should you choose to so anyway now that we got that all going

Frame rate is a little bit better it’s still a little stuttering but it’s not anywhere near as bad so we have our osmium crystals in here with our hydrogen chloride oh yeah turns out I left a power cable disconnected over here this machine wasn’t able to be injecting the

Gunpowder with the hydrogen chloride to make the sulfur this was running alone to make the was it the sulfur dioxide or whatever anyway so we’re using some of our chlorine hydrogen chloride over here and it’s being used over here so yeah we’re kind of splitting that up

Between the two but as you can see we are full of crystals right now that’s where we were to the purification chamber which is putting it over into this machine which yeah there’s so many things happening right now is like hard for me to open up each individual

Machine and see what’s going on but yeah you can see right now that we are kind of stuck at the hydrogen chloride level of processing our ores yeah things just aren’t happening as fast as they should be so that’s a problem we might have sep

Some kind of a gas tank to store large quantities of that stuff but anyway as we’re processing the wors like that how much power are we using over here so that says we’re using eight thousand six hundred I’m sure that number will fluctuate as the hydrogen chloride

Processes one of those crystals into the clump and then the clump turns into the different things so on and so forth we saw this before words using like 11,000 RF particulate apparently I guess I fixed something so it’s not using quite as much anyway so it’s using between 6

To 11,000 RF particulars but we’ll call that so we got a few things to work on over here to get this thing up to snuff like I said the hydrogen chloride we probably want to start storing that in like a gas tank or something so we have extra so when we do

Processing like this we’re not relying on making it at the time since these machines are slow we might end up having to make another one of these machines just so we can make it twice as fast yeah these are things that we’ll have to think about and consider in the future

For this whole process seeing if we look in our first machine it’s almost processed all of those so the rest of the slurry and stuff is in all of these machines ready to be processed hydrogen chloride appears to be our huge bottleneck right now which is too bad but yeah we got end-to-end
