I Built a MASSIVE FARM in Minecraft Survival : New Life SMP

Hey folks hope here and welcome to create life SMP uh new new life New Life SMP that that’s the one we’re on we’re on building a new District on my Island to harvest up all of the crops I could ever need and well I just kind of love

Building Farms so leave a like and please subscribe to get started today I need a location to add in all of my farmland and this planes biome will be pretty perfect the only problem here is I need to flatten it down a lot so bringing out the drill we can remove a

Lot of the terrain pretty easily trying to block off different areas to more easily mold it later on this actually went a lot quicker than if I was mining it all by hand about an hour later and the mountain was turned into a more blocky looking Hill and now we need to

Go around and smooth it all out before turning into something that we can use to Farmland I did want to keep molding the terrain a bit further so I pulled out the drill a few more times to take away more parts of the Hill after that

Was all done I removing all of the exposed Stone to replace it all with dirt so we can plant crops on it later on and now the train is looking so much cleaner just uh ignore the top side up here but here’s my favorite part of this

Whole thing look at this look how easily I can make a chest monster right in front of us that has so much dirt in it and more importantly the chess monster disappears okay but I actually do need some of that dirt as I need to go around

And replace all the remaining Stone up here we’re gonna keep molding the hill as we go but for now this is a good start that we can at least get building on and that should do it up here it’s a little flat but we’ll keep working on it

As we go last step I definitely need to patch this hole in though I definitely want to keep extending this down as I think we can turn this Bay into a really cool Harbor eventually but we’ll have to figure out how to get this terrain down there before we build anything more here

I think it’s time to get a rough plan for the island base I’ve already decided to divide up the island into different districts here we have the town itself with all of my factories the grasslands over on this side is going to be for our farming up top and then the harbor area

Down below oh free dirt I’m thinking on the far side in the spruce trees that’s gonna be for our forestry region for tree chopping taking all of that into account I also want to add in a large power plant in the middle along with a huge railroad Network to connect

Everything into one central location leaving us with a main storage room and processing Factory instead of spreading it all over the island this is gonna be a pretty fun one you know what you should look where you teleport but we need to tackle this one

Step at a time because this is a massive base we’re working towards filling out first up I need to be a good server member and fix up a mess that all my fellow server members have been creating inside of my base and I need a few electron tubes to make some more brass

Funnels and let’s take some oak logs to go down into the skeleton farm and start by creating a ton of chests in here as we’re gonna redo this entire system to just get rid of all of the junk I think I can start with a shaft here and

Another one there and we’re gonna just do a mechanical belt this is gonna connect all the way over here and that’s just gonna pick up all of our items dropping down here where the end goal is lava so if we think arrows inside of there we’re gonna do bones inside of

These two rotten flesh in there and we’ll just leave some open for excess and everything else is just going straight into the lava right it might be easier to do that with it turned off because I don’t want to end up in the lava arrow goes in there but phone phone

Rotten flesh and then these are just gonna kind of take everything for overflow lastly we gotta flip all the directions on every single one of these attaching this back in and hopefully if I just break that we’re picking up all the items and the excess is going

Straight into the lava yes and there’s all the drops coming down too oh this is perfect got the bottom chest cleared out now and everything is just flowing inside of here and getting picked up as they go which is pretty great and the rest will just go straight into the lava

Meaning this will no longer be lagging the server I swear every time I’ve logged into the server over the last little while I keep having to come here there’s so many items sitting around one last step here I did hear changing the shoot right here out for a hopper will

Actually help make things run faster we could just grab him and place the hopper in and that should have a bigger pickup range Maybe yep it’s just slower okay great last step here is I know mechanical belts down there do cause legs so we’re gonna hook up a new Redstone link with rotten

Flesh bone for the frequency and we shift right click this one it’ll send it receive mode and then we rot in Flash bone that one place a lever here flip that all of the belt stuff perfect so this can start and stop the farm now so hopefully this means whoever comes down

Here and uses it when they leave they’ll flip the farm off that’ll stop everything and just help a little bit more with the leg I think it’s time to finally retire this starter little Wheat Farm we have over here it’s been sitting in front of my house for far too long

You know what I think we can actually reuse that we’ll just leave this mess here for now as well I want to rebuild it in a much better way which I’m going to need a Gantry carriage and some Gantry chefs for Quick side track over here let’s see if the iron farm has made any sales yes yes it has we have six diamonds and we’re fully stocked again with 1 647 in the backlog oh I love this Farm definitely favorite Factory right now well but with that let’s make ourselves a diamond hoe

I’m gonna throw a little bit of copper and zinc inside of here and feed that boy a few logs as we need a lot more brass well all that stuff is cooking down we can get started with the top of here being so flat this is actually a

Good testing point I’m thinking over there we’re gonna do a big barn and storage facility let’s start with just throwing some Gantry shafts down and we’ll figure this out as we’re going we can attach the carriage right over here throw a barrel on the end and some mechanical Harvesters right in like this

To link these guys together we’re gonna throw this little bit on the top and now I can glue it all into place from here we’re throwing a gear shift right there vertical gearbox sticking off of that so we can hide the rest underground the guys ourselves to a water wheel right

Here now for a quick test if I take this lever and flip that no that opens the trapdoor okay we’re making progress I’ve got it moving now I glue you into there and over here there we go I must have been gluing in the ground but this is

Our new farming system with this system built out all I need to do is turn the base into farmland and get ourselves a little bit of a barrier around so it looks a lot nicer nearly two stacks of seeds planted down and this wheat farm is gonna be pretty great I really want

To see if we can find ourselves silk touch for the hoe nope foreign translator and still no luck so back to the good old-fashioned sheer as we go oak leaves in hand I thought it could be nice if we just surrounded the field to make it look a little bit better as an

Extra step for storage for now before I you know have a place to move it to we could bring in a double chest right there with a shoot and that’ll just drop everything this thing collects down into there next up I need a way to activate

This that isn’t me coming over here and flipping a lever look at that farming machine though it looks pretty cool I don’t want this machine activating constantly so instead we’re gonna use a hopper clock I need two sticky pistons two Hoppers two comparators a few repeaters and some redstone dust and

Grabbing the brass from earlier that should be mostly done I need a few more Redstone links now if I put a stack and a half of cobblestone in here that’ll activate the hopper clock over here we’re gonna replace this guy with a redstone link for wheat wheat seeds and do the same

Right over here I can also manually put that lever up here if I want to stop it and move it myself so I can flip that that’ll activate and bring it back where we get all the way over here that’ll unload if anything’s inside of it now

Hopefully we’ll just help speed it up a touch that’ll flip send it back and the Machine is off I decided to use Redstone links here so I can hook up multiple Harvesters to a single point and turn them all on and off from the lever with the same Farm duplicated out four times

Now this is looking pretty good and it all runs off of this same Hopper clock now I need to find a few plants that we can put in there and there is a wonderful plant store on the server called guest Punk Farms we got rice over here can’t use that because it’s water

We’ve got oh let’s do some carrots tomatoes could be fun and how about cabbage no I haven’t carrots many times let’s do onions these machines should be pretty good about replanting themselves so we can throw the onions in here this field is going to be cabbage and lastly tomato

Tomato that’s everything planted down inside of here which is pretty good except I’m not a huge fan of how Jagged all of these fields are they’re just straight lines and boxes another quick trip over to gas Punk farms and we can grab ourselves a few carrots and a few potatoes I just ran around and grabbed up a bunch more oak leaves we can use to border off the new Fields we’ve created to help blend them in a touch more I’m just really hoping this breaks up the weird grid shape we’ve created so far so hopefully it does otherwise it’s not

Perfect but I actually think that helped out a talk now I need somewhere to store all the items so I want to build a barn right here right right here to hide this and first up I need the materials to build a barn now I’m really loving cast

Iron so let’s take a stack iron ingots grab a little bit of fuel filter’s already set in here so we can throw all of those in and just start heating this guy up now but those are cooking I actually really want to use jungle wood

Inside of this build so we can maybe get these and three saplings oh we’re so close to a big tree do I have any bone meal yeah do grabbed another sapling so this should make all of the jungle wood I will need for the build yes please

Work oh why did that scare me so much I love Mata 30 seconds later and almost three and a half stacks of logs with that I like to grab some Spruce logs and oak logs out of the old tree farms with all those I turned them down into a

Assortment of trap doors stairs slabs and some new fancy chip blocks now I recently also found this Viridian block which is cool here but it can turn itself down into cut viridium which I think is gonna be a really cool Roofing block I also just found an untamed jelly

If scar wants to come pick her up uh feel free to let him know moving on I grabbed the cast iron and started crafting down everything I needed until I ran out of sheets so headed downstairs to smash a few more of those and then we

Get all the rest of the cast iron goodies ready to go and now I need to do a little bit of just a little CH and one more okay perfect as always I need more electron tubes and we’re gonna be making some display boards these things are really cool because we can

Use it to display everything that we’re producing over in the farms and have it as text in a number of how many we have just uh not right here now the last annoying item I need to get is gonna be a bunch of Mangrove planks and I have a

Propaguel I got from pixares a little while ago they were building spawn in please oh it does work oh it works oh I’m so happy right now I didn’t get a sapling that was that was my only my only sapling and I need uh 42 planks not 4D

Um man I swear today’s episode isn’t just me stealing from sausage it’s called borrowing it’s like borrowing a cup of sugar I do need those and we’ll try two of those we’ll give them Roots though ignoring how we acquired the last two resources this is everything I’m

Gonna need for the farm well Barn the barn for the farms and I thought it was gonna be a lot more materials these are completely empty grabbing the tough to get started here I want to start out with a big front porch to create a large slab pretty much that we’re gonna be

Building on top of I want this to be like two rectangular buildings running right next to the side of each other with one having Limestone and then the other one being out of some worn bricks actually this little jut out over here is also gonna be with our

Limestone now because this over here is gonna be a little messy I’m thinking we can cover it as I don’t want to mess up our Redstone system so we can do something like that now the building itself I’m thinking over on this side we can actually incorporate some vertical

Jungle planks get a big old window in here and an entrance we can use to get inside for this bit and then the planks are just gonna go around the rest of the way a little bit of a highlight we can throw in some tall Birch doors right

There and that looks pretty good out on the side I have been loving working with shoots like this so we can do that and for the front I added in these little mesh fences and then I thought we could throw in a few of the cast iron supports

Just add some height for the building nope go up please with the one door on that side I’m thinking we can bring two doors over here and this one is gonna be out of our fur planks again using that Oak for the Highlight for where we’re actually going to be having the door

Going in or something like this which I really like and I think we’re gonna throw the display boards right over here and we’ll figure out a way to power those soon well I’m at it we probably need to get some lights up here so we can do a little Lantern there and

Another Lantern here so that’s already had all the blocks on hand I decided to just fill in all of the remaining walls I really like the look of the supports that we have so I’m also extending those around here to the back can I climb these no no that would be very nice

Though as I do want to define a little bit of a second layer up here using our Mangrove and it’s just basically going to be this tall not even a full second floor and we’re gonna build a little divider coming out which from a distance will help this just seem like it has

Almost some like Oak framing to it which I think will look pretty good now above the fur planks over for this side I’m actually thinking we can incorporate a little bit of our drip Stone and repeat the same Oak pattern and of course carrying that same idea around to the

Front of the building so I have this water wheel down here and I really want to know if we can get enough stress out of it to run this thing and maybe just a large gear wheel right there and here yes oh my gosh it

Works with the bulk of the barn done I added in a cobbled display roof for the short side section before throwing on a fancy viridium roof for the two big guys top with some chimneys and a water tower now for one last step oh or don’t be

Broken please over here on the side I thought it was pretty flat and boring so I’m thinking instead we can add in a bit of a trellis using our Spruce log walls as it forces those fences to come down and then we could just bring this down

On either side and what do we have in here onions okay uh where is the cabbages perfect and potatoes are down here with these we can make cabbage crates and potato crates to put on display to show it’s a barn that’s also storing all of our farm produce and the

Cabbages can just go under the trellis here grabbing a little bit more dirt out of the old machine Let’s craft up some slabs and we can use this to start working on a roadway coming down from here gonna be a little steep but I think it’ll still work

Now for my typical path pattern that we’re using so far just with all of our path blocks in here where you know the path we’re gonna bring it down to about here for now I’ve been thinking about it I’m not planning to make any Pathways

For like cars or things I think the way that we’re gonna be traveling lore wise inside of the city is purely by railroads mine carts or trains and by foot pretty much anything that we can actually build in game to make happen as I want everything to be able to move as

It goes next up though I need to mix in a little bit of course dirt along the edges I might bring the path along this way here eventually too as another way down to the harbor so I’m not gonna decorate that too much for now just planning for the future expansion and

Saving myself to 10 seconds now definitely worth it to do yeah but there we go the entrance into the barn is looking much much better just uh don’t look inside the barn yet and I gotta say for a simple build I’m really happy with this one a create farming region

Wouldn’t be complete without at least one windmill so oh I’m adding one in here on the side and I did just learn that we can actually dye these sails which is so very amazing and I definitely want to do that for the low curve oh you can really tie them wow

It’s okay white dye is here and I shall fix can we teleport on top oh okay I’m not gonna ask questions windmill is now fixed and I’ve just gotta glue this entire thing together including a little button that should hopefully do the trick and now if I come

Back here and just right click that everything is moving oh I love it I’ve got a shaft coming down here under the ground for now if we need to use it for anything and then I added this little fin on the back to make it look a little

Bit more realistic it doesn’t really do anything though just look at that oh it looks so good I love it here now I need to get that sign fixed and actually you know store the items somewhere that’s probably important first let’s build up a big Vault here for everything to go

Inside first smoke logs you craft ourselves 27 barrels or 21 barrels and now 27 barrels which we can turn into 27 item vaults realistically I’m not gonna need too many of each item that we’re getting inside of here so I’m thinking somehow we’re gonna bring them up here

They can Trail along and then we can just kind of fill this in here with a a big old bow I’m gonna have to get power back here somehow but uh that sounds like a future problem everything will just go inside this funnel into the

Vault and then I really want to be using just gonna sneakily get rid of this bottom one here so we can put a Content Observer display Link’s gonna hook into that guy and then he goes off of this maybe that’ll be easier to get after some items are actually in the vault I

Think my best bet is just gonna do it underground and they can magically appear over here that’s wrong that’s that’s a what wheel but I think I can run a diagonal belt from there to there and hopefully items can move up there yeah it should be fine I’m sure there’s

Like a million times easier way to do this but I have managed to get belts going from all of the different Chest locations coming up here to where they’re gonna go into the main Vault now my hope is if I just break you really quick and put in a

Vertical gearbox that won’t mess that up and then in there we could do this and yes it is rolling the right way and then please continue rolling the right way no you’re going backwards so close we were so close now we’re going no I want that gear but we’re

Going up let me get down I think I’ve found an easier way to do this if I take Andy ingots turn them into our nuggets we can create ourselves so in case chain drives and this should carry the rotation on and keep us going up yes it

Does perfect which we can do right here I was really hoping this would work it does not this mess down here is every single conveyor belt now moving in the same direction going all the way up here dude this one that’s not moving yeah I haven’t figured that out yet but I think

It’s gonna turn into coming out here the back side and just getting some power up to a gear somehow if only I was smart to build the windmill on top of the building new no I was not don’t judge me this is a flip Redstone create Stone

Whatever you want to call it at its best we just fill that back in there like nothing happened and maybe for decoration purposes sure yeah that looks nice and that’s running the right way yes amazing okay perfect now for the final step I need to come back here break the chests that are

Gonna send items ever everywhere oh that’s a lot of tomatoes and send it like this which will start moving everything on and I can help it with a few Tomatoes here goes the Cabbage coming up I think I can add that dirt back there too and it’ll still flow so

We can actually make this all seamless the onions are on their way and everything is making its way into the Vault I think I still need to move the wheat so hard to get down these oh I’m almost starving being small makes me so hungry not me now realizing I never

Actually hooked up the wheat to this thing right this is I think even worse than anything else I’ve done but that’s not where all the items were actually I would like that chest back please thank you that should work and now we are collecting so much of everything I really don’t

Need all the seeds and all that stuff but uh we’re just gonna let it do its thing for now if it fills up uh we’ll fix that later because now I have a giant Vault full of so many agricultural goodies farmer flip is extremely happy right now this is not my proudest

Accomplishment but I think it’s what we gotta run with today over here we’ve got a barrel that has a filter set up leading outside of this that only pulls out wheat tomatoes onions and cabbage this one here pulls out our cabbage seeds tomatoes and wheat seeds this one

Also grabs the onions if I didn’t mention and that’s kind of filtering everything then from there I’ve got the display board linked up and it has one caramel Stone inside of it that’s gonna be out there forever but back here this display link has looked just to show the

Matching items and right now it’s just gonna be showing the top four items we have and you can see everything is getting pulled out into these guys so uh maybe I can figure out how to get that Cobble out real quick one Cobblestone and there it is definitely way more

Tomatoes than and I thought we would get so we’re gonna have to figure out another solution for this so if you have other ideas please let me know down in the comments below I’d love to split them into their own barrels eventually but I’m not sure I can do that in this

Space I guess we could have one big Track Running like this guy and just have brass funnels with filters going into their own barrels that could work just like along here yeah if we need to do we can do that bend down here at the

Mob farm for a while and the big news we’ve got ourselves a silk touch Diamond hoe and it’s very ooh wander Trader oh good stuff but it’s very late at night so I’d like to go sleep in my bed for now I’m just gonna go ahead and make a

New diamond hoe and combine them together to just refresh the durability I probably should have done that to start but next up I really want to put this Moss block down here and Bone Mill it and we’ve got in his daily Bush now with the azalea bushes I want to bone

Meal them up and get all these beautiful azalea leaves Four trees later and that should do it now from here let’s take a few birch logs craft them down into birch wood and then turn all of those into walls now I’ll be honest my favorite part about building the Farmland regions in Minecraft is Just decorating them with

Custom trees and really bringing it to life so I’m thinking right down in here we can add in a cool tree and something like this should work for the trunk and the branches and then from here I was thinking we just extend out a bunch of the azalea bushes well leaves

Azalea leaves this is starting to look oh like dirt starting to look like dirt no it’s starting to look like a tree and I’m actually really happy with it I just want to squeeze in a few lower leaves right over here and that’s gonna no it’s

Really bare right there we will fix it I’ll fix it and much better now walking up to the farm you gotta walk underneath this lovely little tree and all the way over here oh it looks so good I need more I mean let’s build some more trees

Around the Farmland this would just make it look so cool and just make a lovely environment wouldn’t it yeah and most importantly this was to get a little bit more cabbage up here now if we come over here into the cooking pot I should be able to just add cabbage and maybe that

No how about this yes that is working I’m really almost out of food I need food we’ve got a few more carrots that should bring us up and now can get cabbage rolls I know many other people have cabbage rolls but these are my cabbage rolls no longer are we eating

Bread I’m just gonna retire that into that barrel and then we’ll just keep waiting for all the cabbage rolls well the cabbage roll is cooked I decided to go bother my friends on the server and well as usual chaos chaos that plant keeps getting in the way and Chaos ensued yeah that’s on

Here that is a stack in 13. oh we can make so much more polished rose quartz one really big problem I’ve had in the series so far is well storage I basically live out of this backpack and it’s a mess not even enough to mention

How much of a mess this place is turning into in here but when digging out the mountain for the Farmland I realized that I can stack chests on chess inside of one of the assembler machines and if I do something like this oh no no stop moving stop moving stop moving well uh

We can pick it up and move it ignore that it tried to run away now for a quick little trip over to the Wood Farms let’s grab some Oak clogs and we can craft down a lot of Chess you might get where I’m going on this one I definitely

Need to build a warehouse soon that we can use for actually you know assembling machines inside of but this one’s gonna work for now so if I do something like that that would pick up the machine and I think if I place a crafting table there there we can do a little

Connection down there a little glue like that a little glue like that and we’re hooked in and now we connect all of this in but where it’s really Gonna Come Together is I’m planning on just stacking so many chests together here I want to leave one side open right over

Here so that I can easily get in and out but if I hook that into there and I take that into a column this in that should technically be all of it hooked in together then if we do that and that it works and now if I unpower that and put

It back we can get all the tests oh I have a boat Mouse storage room this is amazing if I put it here on the path box that’s going to kind of destroy everything so we need to clear a little bit of space for it and I think it’s

Time that we move this villager somewhere else maybe he goes down in the basement there’s a bug in the boat oh these little bugs are driving me crazy no no get actually if you want to go live in the house that’s fine yeah go in the house that’s that’s great actually

Think one thing we could add to make it a little bit better is a stone cutter that we can just glue right up here on top so if I do that that should work take this whole thing up and we’re good to go I think eventually I want to try

And sell these to people on the server and sausage is online right now so let’s go bother him and see what he thinks where can we find a sausage oh there he is hi hi hi hi hi what you up to hi yo I’m clearing place here I’m gonna build

A giant wood factory wow that’s really cool so I’m guessing you got a lot of blocks here huh like a lot a lot of blocks that you’re having to move back up to your storage room and everything like that huh yeah yeah you have to go

In my storage grab a bunch of stuff put in these bags over here these little bags okay so so what if come stand with me come stand with me right here uh so what if what if you had the ability to move your storage room with you shut up
