This is a miniature fishing village it even has real fish in this video i’m going to be building a diorama aquarium but only using wood and cardboard i’ve always wanted to own a house on the water but this would cost millions of dollars so today we’re doing the next Best thing by using wood and cardboard at 1 12 scale and surprising everyone by adding rare fish and using 200 worth of tiny plants the fish are due to arrive in just a few days so we need to get moving but first we need a game plan Before we can start building we need a lot of cardboard we made it to home depot to get the materials we’re going to need a lot of cardboard to create the fishing village i really hope i can find a way to avoid everything getting ruined by the water Now that we have a bunch of cardboard we can start planning to fill this is probably the most intricate diorama i could have picked everything is made out of wood and cardboard i’m really worried about this wood disintegrated but we have to keep moving so we’re done in time for the fish Right now we are gluing the wood together to create a platform this will support our fishing village we have over 200 pieces of wood to glue in total we have a ton of small intricate parts to make it look exactly like a real fishing village i’ve been gluing for over two Hours and i’m starting to lose my mind it’s time to start making the house it feels so weird using cardboard and a fish tank i just really hope this works out after we build the foundation we can add in our second story we can’t forget to Add in a couple of windows a front door and a roof i even tore these pieces of cardboard to make the roof look like tint it would be a dream come true to own a piece of property like this so far everything on this project has taken a ton of time I really wanted the house to look real so i used a ton of tiny two by fours to panel the outside we’ve been gluing pieces of wood for hours and haven’t even started designing the space yet oh man i just received a notification that the fish have been shipped and They’re on their way we gotta keep moving the house is finally finished i hope these pillars will help to support the house so we can decorate later on it’s time to build a floating shack it’s not as sturdy as i’d like which makes me nervous i can’t help But worry if this will hold up in the water i just received a call and the fish are here let’s see how the new fish look [Applause] we need to get moving and get them into the quarantine tank it’s cycled and ready for a new fish these are japanese blue swordtail fish They may look like normal guppies but their striking blue coloration makes them rare to find we also have some really cool shrimp and a snail to help clean our tank let’s acclimate everyone slowly we don’t want to stress them out okay now that everyone is settled we can Finish building our floating paradise we want it to look exactly like my dream home but if it falls apart all of this time and money will have been for nothing luckily after doing some research i found a solution to strengthen our project hopefully this helps keep our fishing village dry this Clear spray paint is non-toxic and will create a strong waterproof layer this will need to cure for 24 hours let’s call it for now and pick up back tomorrow when i got back to the studio i was stressed there’s still so much we need To do to bring my dream house to life if we want it to look real we need to add some serious finishing touches let’s add a few of my favorite things these small details will really make it feel like a home i even added string lights along The boardwalk just in case we want to go for an evening stroll it’s always been my dream to open up a plant shop so why not do it right here along the water the perfect place to drive your boat up dock and pick out a few of your favorite plants and we can’t Forget our fishing pole let’s start setting up our fish tank this is the final step and i’m so nervous i hope our wood stilts are strong enough to hold up all the weight in the water let’s add a few pieces of serious stone to help support them these Will also be perfect for our tiny plants now we have to play the waiting game and cycle our fish tank our fish will need both a heater and a filter in the tank it’s finally time to add them to our fishing village i can’t believe we made this thing let’s trabacomate my fish There’s no point in rushing this process well my fish are waiting for their new home i’m giving away another wet pets mini kit this comes with everything you need to get in the fish keeping hobby so subscribe today our fish are ready to go look here they go they’re loving their new home Let’s add in a few of their friends and we can’t forget our snail these little guys are so cute i left a surprise at the end i wanted my house to be functional so i created a spot to store my fish food i just love how it turned out my Favorite is how it looks at night it’s so dreamy we
