This is a tiny Lego Axolotl and this is a real one in this video we’re going to build a lush cave for my Axolotl Lucy after this I’m going to use over 5 000 Lego bricks I’m even going to surprise Everyone by adding a real flowing waterfall earlier this year Lego released its First ever Minecraft set with axolotls they look just like some of the axolotls I’ve had on the channel before this set is pretty cool but it has one big problem axolotls spawn in Lush caves and this kind of Lego set doesn’t exist so we’re gonna need to build our own Lush caves Have root desserts Moss clay water and lava this is gonna take days and while I’m building you should be on the lookout for these characters hidden somewhere in this video so here’s the game plan we’re going to create a pool in the center with blowing waterfalls for Lucy Lucy’s been with me Since the beginning I got her when she was a tiny little scalawag and every time I change up her setup she goes into Explorer mode this will be a perfect temporary getaway while I make some changes to her big tank you may remember that I built a lush cave before I used Real Stone cubes and it looks seriously awesome but a lot of you thought we could make some improvements face user thought we should have lava and stone So today we’re doing jump that with Lego there’s just no way we have enough Lego of the right size and color we’re gonna Need to order more I completely underestimated how much all of this Lego would cost well we wait let’s build Legos only Axolotl set suspected this isn’t a lush cave at all it’s missing a lot of key elements The only thing similar are the axolotls themselves if we want this to be a lush cave we’re going to need water balls lava and stone let’s use our leftover Lego to create a miniature version of lush cave this way we know what we’re doing when it’s 20 times the size Time to build the ceiling I even got these special bricks so we can hang Vines later on these special Lego pieces are perfect for our Vines I’m going to make some varying lengths to create some dimension in the cave we’re going to use these small pieces of glass to build a Tank so we can hold water now we have a real pool in the center these tiny Lego axolotls look just like real life baby ones I was lucky enough to visit some a few months ago there’s so cute and so tiny this may not be big Enough for Lucy but at least now we have a blueprint so we can scale up speaking of Lucy let’s give her a snack it’s our night crawlers they’re jammed back with nutrients and she absolutely loves them two days later our Lego arrived now the fun really begins we have so much Lego Let’s get it unpacked and sorted into our different color I’ll save you days of your life sorting through Lego foreign we have gray blue green orange red and brown all of these correspond to the Minecraft blocks using Lush caves I’m going to use these modified base plates to create the foundation of our Lush cave we’re going to lay the perimeter before we build off this back wall needs to be quite high so we can create the same Dimension we saw in the Mini version we’re on day two and we’re not even a quarter of the way done these Bridges Will join both sides of our Lego wall once these are in place we can keep building up I even built these Lego spines to help support our bridges now we build up the ceiling just caved in I really don’t want to take this apart and rebuild Luckily I was able to snake my arm in and replace the missing bricks I’m going to add some additional support so we don’t make the same mistake again it looks like they forgot to pack the one by ones and the studs we need these to Build ore if we don’t have ore we can’t build a lush cave let’s make a quick trip to the LEGO store you know I love a good costume moment I’ve dressed up as a Minecraft mob Ash Ketchum and even a Lego brick before this is by far the Best part about being a YouTuber okay there’s way more people that I thought here I’m a little embarrassed let’s hurry up and get to the store they have so many Minecraft Lego sets in here they cheat Just a Little by using some of the accessories in these yes they Also have the plaques we need I got some weird looks but I got what we need let’s get back to work this Lego waterfall will soon be flowing with real water I can’t wait for you to see and we can forget to add a few lava balls around The cave this is really coming together now we can finally build our ore diamond ore look awesome let’s also build lapis lazuli order these really make it look like a lush cave we’re nearly finished building the base all that’s left to do is build the tank we’re going to glue each piece of Acrylic carefully acrylic is really expensive and we only have one piece of each side each piece has to be perfect for this to be watertight I just can’t risk anything when it comes to Lucy well we wait for the glue to dry I’m giving away another wet Pet’s aquarium kit real people just Like you win every single week if you want a chance to build your own beautiful creation make sure you’re subscribed and leave a comment below hopefully I measured this correctly and the tank fits in place This is awesome I even had enough space to build the waterfall in lava fall down the back of the tank but to make a real Lush cave we need to add a ceiling so we can hang Vines Okay there is no way this is gonna work this is way too heavy let’s take it apart and reevaluate I’m going to compromise and just build the ceiling over half of it everyone knows that Lush caves are densely populated with vines so these bad boys are critical this is looking much better And while we wait for our plants to arrive we can build our Minecraft Lego accessories thankfully I love working with Lego because we have two more sets to build with over 300 pieces this one might be my favorite so far let’s set aside a few fun characters for Lucy’s Lush cave now there’s only one more thing we need to do fill it up with water and make sure it doesn’t leak I’m not kidding at age 10 years every time I do this it’s so stressful see you tomorrow thankfully the tank was still standing the next day Our plans have arrived just in time these are pretty cool but most of them are stem plants and too tall for the tank thankfully they also sent anubias one of Lucy’s favorite plants Lucy is sensitive to light and anubias are great low-light plants Lucy also loves the Shady Indian almond leaves these tint The water brown but they also have antibacterial properties and other benefits that are great for axolotls per Oasis is really coming along let’s cut these longer stem plants and carefully replant them so they don’t go to waste this is looking awesome but we are still missing something this isn’t a real Waterfall it’s just blue Lego in the game Lush caves have glowing waterfalls everywhere I’m going to use this tiny pump to move water from the tank to the top of the waterfall it’s going to turn the static cave into a work of art oh great the waterfall looks ridiculous and Is leaking through the Lego if you remember I had a similar issue when I built a fish tank completely out of Lego these small gaps are letting the water seep through so I built this tiny acrylic slide to waterproof the Lego I also going to add these tiny pumps to Create a smooth flowing waterfall let’s add in this fish safe Mister this is going to give us Minecraft Fog we’re going to add in a filter from Lucy’s tank and let this cycle it’s been a few weeks and the tank is ready the waterfall looks seriously cool and this Fog is next level Lucy is finally ready for her vacation here she goes after a few hours of exploring Lucy found her favorite spot once again under this Leaf no matter where loose he is She’s Always a happy camper we just made a lush cave out of Lego make sure you Subscribe and comment for your chance to win I’ll see you here next week Video Information

Since LEGO doesn’t have its own Minecraft lush cave set, I decided to build my own. I spent countless hours building this masterpiece and my hands are still sore!! Lucy is my first born axolotl and she loves exploring new tanks, so it was worth it. I love creating my own LEGO sets, what should we build next?
