I created an Insane AI Dream Boss! 😱

Okay so uh i feel like you can probably tell uh what today’s mod is about so dream is regarded as one of the best minecraft players and possibly the fastest growing youtuber on the platform at the moment yeah as you can probably tell i have had this dream

As a minecraft boss cha-cha you aren’t supposed to come this close you are supposed to come this close god damn it oh god damn it now if you want answers regarding why i thought this would be a good idea i mean i i really couldn’t tell you i’m gonna be honest

But i can explain to you how it works now if you go fight dream you will notice that he has some very specific mechanics that he will start using at certain points and actually god damn it now since i’m absolutely terrible at this game as you can probably tell

I will be i will be showing you the mechanics while i’m in creative here so i really like the idea of trying to replicate some speedrunner moves that he could do for example whenever he’s falling off of a high place if he’s far enough away from the player he will attempt

To place water under him to save himself from the fall he should technically remove this after a while sometimes he doesn’t there he goes say that that’s nice it actually works unbelievable that one of my mods actually works since minecraft mobs don’t really have artificial intelligence i kinda fake the artificial intelligence

Into the game now the first thing that he can do is whenever he reaches 50 health if you are in survival he will run away from the player and he’s gonna start healing himself he runs away and his health goes a good amount back up and he’s gonna

Keep running until you hit him again and at that point he’s gonna switch to a different face he picked up a bow and arrow and he’s oh my god you are being so obnoxious oh my god stay back stay back he’s placing water everywhere the idea behind this is that minecraft

Mobs don’t really have a great you know amount of intelligence they can’t really change the things that they do so if i created a dream boss i don’t like the idea okay dream jesus you really you really are you really doing this to me right now

I didn’t like the idea of him just being a normal minecraft mob and following you around and just hitting you directly so i just made different phases for him where his ai changes based on the situation because i mean that’s what a regular human would

Do of course this is not nearly close to being as smart as a human but hey hey he he’s he’s trying his best okay basically what happens is this is not only one mob the only way to change what a mob does is basically change the entirety of the

Mob so whenever he reaches 50 health this entity you’re seeing disappears and is substituted by another dream that has the function of healing himself these are basically three different mobs a dream with a sword one with a healing potion and one with a bow that switch between each other

During different parts of the fight to create some sort of a more dynamic thing at times if you’re really lucky it almost feels like you’re fighting a person some more mechanics that are a little bit more hidden he’s immune to arrows during his sword phase so if you try to attack him with

An arrow he will deflect it he just swings his hand and the arrows goes back down okay yeah as you can see one other thing he can do he’s gonna attempt to burn you with flint and steel and yeah okay good thing you added that into you you really needed

More more annoying mechanics added into this guy i’m also gonna mention that even though he is a pretty smart mob compared to the usual minecraft ones he’s still kinda is pretty dumb in some cases i made an immune to fire because placing down lava would kill him way too fast

Now if you are a decently experienced player this fight should technically be balanced to be relatively hard with full diamond armor and a diamond sword shield and a bow so that doesn’t really count for me i definitely did way more than that but if you want a decently hard and balanced fight

You can uh you can try going at him with uh with diamond equipment and it should be a pretty nice fight if you are like me and your name is not technoblade you don’t have enough clouds to uh go in a straight up fight against dream yeah you can simulate it
