I coded a new type of minecraft speedrun but speedrun youtuber point crow told me he could easily beat me in my own game so i made him put his money where his mouth is we bet 20 gifted subs to our twitch channels which is equal to about A hundred us dollars to see who would win a best of three in a brand new minigame here’s how each round will work we’ll be teleported to a random 500 by 500 area where we’ll have to speedrun making as many items as possible every time we get an item for the first time We’ll get one point but every time we die we’ll lose 5 points the winner is whoever has the most amount of points after 15 minutes but there is one catch i may or may not have turned on pvp on the server this wound up getting incredibly intense so make sure you Watch until the very last second to see who wins the money here we go so my strategy was simple while i’m a minecraft creator point crow is a variety creator so it’s likely that i know more about minecraft than he does i thought if i just rushed all the types Of wooden stone i could find i could beat him solely by knowing more recipes if you hear a ding that’s you getting an item and if you hear like a power down that’s the other player getting an item oh i see i’m gonna need you to get a Little less items you’re getting a little too many items right now i wanted you to slow that down a little bit uh i don’t think so i think this is perfect i’m pretty sure i’m pretty sure i made the game so i think i know that you have Too many items for right now okay i’m gonna mute because i want to do strategy all right i understand he is 20 how does he have 20 i’m going to try to rush a stone x because i think he’ll attack us soon you know what we’re going to come Back real quick all right so i’m going to make these again did i make this yet i did not okay 35 to 21 geez while my strategy was starting to work and heavily relied on one thing how good point crow is at pvp i’m gonna stay crouched in case he’s running around Looking for me i already did slabs wait how do you do oh i need a door we’re gonna make a pickaxe an x and a sword uh we already have saplings right do we not this is insane okay i don’t see him we’ll make an orange all Right i got the axe here dude he’s doing so much it’s crazy um i’ll drop those hopefully he doesn’t find them 10 minutes remain okay there’s a third of the time i say we try and make some leather armor because that counts as items and also is leather armor i’m just Gonna play this as if he’s good at pvp because i don’t know how good he is but as the final battle of the first round drew near point crow changed everything both of us forgot that minecraft added a menu that shows you every recipe in the game this would heavily affect my plan Yeah the dyes polished the alright this makes it so much easier i didn’t realize we had this okay we can get some gravel all right 34 to 47 this is good i say we go hunting i need more uh stone oh look who i found what if we just steal his workbench Oh wow hey and we run for it adios point crow you wanna fight i feel like we can kill him oh he’s going after me we’re gonna get up here we’re gonna knock him down that’s actually wait it’s in his advantage to kill right now where’d he go did he run Oh we got another item where’d he go i gotta make sure he doesn’t like steal my stuff though oh he’s right there the best way to get a lead was to get a kill as early as possible so are you ready to begin i’m ready if you want a quick tip go on f5 so you can look Around you while you can’t move oh yeah that makes sense i have a feeling he’s going to rush an axe and try to kill us should we try and go for him let’s scare him things ah the strat no oh he rushed me he is low excuse me trying to try to cut A i’ll come back in the in the lake and though yeah yeah yeah i’m kind of worried check because i feel like he might actually do that all right um i need you guys to keep track of like things that i haven’t made that i can Make and that’s not in the craft goals yet june 29 now that i had a big lead i needed to keep it while point crow knows about the recipe book it still only shows some recipes he’s unlocked so if i got a tool to collect items he couldn’t See in his book i might be able to win the game 2-0 cheers for leaves yeah shears are big but it depends on the map we do have a lot of different trees and like foliage here so i think it might be worth it here alright 10 minutes Remaining uh i can do mossy cobble stairs and mossy couple stuff he’s only four behind what this might be like the worst thing i can do nine ten eleven twelve we’re gonna do this okay we have a ten point lead i don’t know how much that’ll help with the second game Drawing near i decided to prepare for the final pvp fight i didn’t see him on the other half of the map so he had to have gone this way right and there’s mr cat i see mr cat you know what honestly if mr cat’s watching me empty my Inventory this is like the worst thing i can do i want to try and get iron first so it can be smelting while we get oh we have die right too we have all three that’s perfect 72 to 64 gross we’re gonna make boots because it’s the same Defense as a helmet that leaves with one extra we need to go find us a point crow he’s getting a lot of items two minutes two minutes can we find him in two minutes that’ll guarantee us the win what if next round you hide a furnace Somewhere with a bunch of stones make a stone cutter stone cutter might be the meta okay we’re on the hunt okay but being on the hunt means i i’m supposed to find him before the time runs out i totally missed the iron chad i totally missed The iron did i get these i did okay um maybe i’ll need the mlg i’ll use that we’re tied up we’re tied tied so 1.5 to 0.5 so going into what is hopefully the final game i had yet another simple plan if i could rush a stone cutter i could make all of the unique stone blocks before he could for Even less resources oh and why not throw him off for fun sometimes you also can’t find things like maybe an abandoned nether portal and then you just get a ton of stuff immediately did you just find an abandoned never another portal is that what just happened no it sounds Like you just did i did not find an abandoned nether portal and take all of the magmo blocks and stone stairs i didn’t take any was the last second am i allowed to demand a rematch uh i think that’s perfectly reasonable in the first set every map was in a basic forest but for the second set we only played in maps that entirely changed how the game was played whoever proves to Adapt to the map changes better will receive another 100 in gifted twitch subs and even if you think you are subscribed it would mean a lot to me if cool so with the new map having three different biomes i decided that going underground would be our last resort i rushed to each biome to collect as many bio-specific items as i could before he took them all and luckily for us he decided to go crafting first just bull Oak fence okay he’s crafting a lot of stuff he’s what is he doing light blue dye got it cartography table got it 28. wait have i even gotten dirt no i have not did not get dirt oh nice to move on oh we haven’t gotten jungle wood yet uh we are significantly Behind how did that happen that was out of nowhere so we’re gonna make that stop oh my god oh yo ah thank you for killing that rabbit for me five minutes left i wonder if he also did a stone cutter it’s like very rhythmic and that’s what he did earlier But just as things were starting to look up the worst thing possible happened found it i found ah there it is that was stupid that’s okay ah this isn’t gonna break i don’t have iron and that was stupid that was stupid that was stupid i’m gonna die but even though he Had the best find possible in this game he didn’t have much time to use it to its potential oh jungle oh birch do i not get birch i was a close one option was to attack maybe we can find him and kill him i think we need to kill him if we killed him right now he’d be one point ahead And that’s fine we can work with that he’s coming to kill you i but point crow had a different strategy he decided to speedrun the Nether fortress to loot all the chests before i could just chat wait what are you doing how’d you get so many ah you uh i mean hey that’s for me to know and you to find out i think that’s kind of rude actually it’s like i get chests where They get chests and i think i get all i think i want to get all the chests stop getting can oh now we do have an advantage right now but i think it’s only because we’re in the forest and he’s not and i was right while i did have a big lead i had already gone to The best area for items while he hadn’t so if i wanted to keep my lead i need to steal all of the courts before he found it but lava for pvp is what i’m talking about right see if we can find any fortress chests hello Just Jump and get a kill and if either of those things didn’t happen i would lose a hundred dollars but chat let me tell you something there’s a reason they call me the cat that does the impossible i’m
