So you kill one chicken irl, you get 1 rotisserie. You kill 1 chicken in mc u get 1 rotisserie. Makes sense right? Ok so, what does looting mean?
Looting means to “loot” more. To collect more RSS from a kill, most likely means you are more resource efficient when cutting up the animals. That’s why you would get more beef from a cow/ham from a pig.
So, chickens. A chicken drops an entire rotisserie. A rotisserie is literally *all* the chicken meat. So… where is a looting enchanted blade getting the other chickens?!
Here’s my logic: Everyone sees enchantments as magic. Good excuse, but I see it as more a skill upgrade (why they are applied by books). So, what amount of skill would allow a butcher to make chicken from nothing?
Magic: Yes, I get it, some *are* magic. (Flame, Smite, Mending, Riptide, Fire Aspect, ECT).
But in my head cannon, the more “normal” ones (Sweeping Edge, Unbreaking, Sharpness, Efficiency, Power, Knockback, Punch, ECT) are skills.
Final thoughts: Yes, this entire rant it about magic chickens. I just…. I don’t get it.. lol..
