Hey guys today i’m going to be showing you guys what happened with the crips and creepers slime showcase if you don’t know what crips and creepers is this is a community fan project that’s been going on in my community for the past uh well good while now essentially what they’re trying to do Is take minecraft and then mod the tools into it that would allow you to run the equivalent to a dungeon dragons tabletop campaign inside of the game while some systems are a way out such as combat and uh character stats this showcase is really gonna be showing Off the ability that the dms now have to be able to possess mobs or npcs and talk to the players with proximity voice chat which really makes it a very like a merciful experience which you’ll see so to get this underway i invited slimesicle and his boys to be run Through this campaign uh i kind of just took a seat back and acted as kind of like a cameraman for this but i think i think they had a really good time so uh let’s just get to it um here is the crips and creepers slime showcase enjoy So uh welcome to the crips and creepers slime showcase uh this is something the development team has been working on for many months now uh if you’re a slime yeah uh and if you’re unfamiliar with grips and creepers this is basically uh the the goal is to create a tabletop Experience like dungeons and dragons within minecraft so right now this is a mini campaign showing off the slime race which will be playable in the final game uh i don’t even know it’s like a little mini character yeah it’s gonna be fun i’m just kind of excited uh so Basically just to give you a little rundown of the lore of the setting uh this is the this is a post-apocalyptic fantasy world where basically uh eons ago the great evil one and all the tolkien races got uh [ __ ] destroyed and they’re all dead uh so the elves the orcs Uh the dwarves everybody got um just exterminated uh and uh it will cause it again eventually nice and yes it all and it always does yeah and it always does so basically slimes oh well the slimes they are basically a beast race like many of the others will be Playable in the game and the idea you get to kill them too oh uh you don’t they’re friends no i mean some of them did you just crack your knuckles maybe dude well uh so uh yeah i’m sorry yeah you know you’re really violent it’s it’s Okay it’s okay uh so yeah anyway slimes the the slimes we’re gonna be meeting a lot of good slimes there are some bad slimes though uh and essentially uh we’re gonna be going through their world and learning about it so uh i think if we’re all ready shall we just get to it Yes all right all right uh you can also come over to the characters over here and talk to them we have a uh rpg dialogue system speaking of title whoa so you can right click on people you look fuzzy crazy you look familiar where’s her voice I’ll do it you just think you just think the world owes you so much yeah huh yeah what’s wrong with you guys beast be subdued however this artifact must be assembled by combining four sacred objects found within this land In your pockets is a quest book question it’ll lead you to where you need to go are you aware and how to open a book no no i’ve never just use read before and eat potato chip what’s an iphone you got the book it’s like a tablet You should already have one within those backpacks of yours to open it you flex your j muscle oh my god i do i don’t know i know i had one of those i’m gonna work out my day i just have a bunch of eggs absolutely eggs oh dear exciting situation That’s a funny part did you come up with that yourself oh that’s i mean i i i i like it it just feels like i don’t know what’s in the window what’s this gelatinous rex thing gonna do to us if we don’t uh well that’s the thing is that we you Need to subdue it before it can do anything bad uh so the quest book it will lead you to where you need to go uh you’ll find the witch doctor has sent me a list of the objects you need to find wait that one over there where I think we no he means a witch doctor not witch doctor which witch doctor don’t worry you’ll figure it out so you’ll find the orb of time within the walls of the clock tower okay the slice of life from the scavenger town the coarse matter from the deep tombs And the varying flesh from the market but be careful there are many shady characters and ghastly ghoulies snooping around the lower levels oh no yes what if we were involved ghostly i’m not watching those rakers we just dug a big hole and we just like witnessed these are sacred lands boy hey All right i’m sorry i didn’t mean it take a big hole i never do that listen disrespectful swine i’m sorry i should be the one in the hole okay i’m i’m come join me i can’t i can’t all right so i guess we should do our first quest Once you’ve collected them you bring them to the doctor on the edge of the badlands he’s quite a mystical man witch doctor the elements in truly out of that one yes that one make a store adventurers i appreciate the elements in time though you are free to explore the areas If you want remember to check your quest book if you don’t know please just get out of my
