I Opened a Bank on a Minecraft Server.. (Realms SMP – Episode 61)

Three two one all right guys welcome back to a brand new episode of the realms smp series today i’m building the first ever bank on the realms smp server and hopefully i get my first loyal customer and hopefully you know after this episode we can get even more customers

Anyways you know what i was thinking so i wanted to repair these nether right leggings right but when i when i went over to try to repair this like oh wait no it’s the anvil right i i just throw it in an anvil look at this throw this in here

It doesn’t even repair it 100 i was expecting you know netherright very expensive so if you put it on it it would just like fully restore it but no oh oh my gosh brandon just came and hit me brennan what’s up what’s up dude yeah yeah i did i turned around pretty

I do have a lot of quartz from before this might not be enough but i did go quartz mining yesterday so we should be good um and i also looked up a tutorial on how to make a 3×3 vault door which is um i mean i’ve done it before

Except i forgot obviously look at all this guys look at all this and oh yeah i i remember getting this with the silk touch so i’m probably gonna drop this in here real quick wait do i need to do that no right just plop it down here sometimes silk touch isn’t the best

Thing because stuff like this happens because then you have to remind everything all right let me grab everything again look at all this quartz guys i’m rich i’m rich use fortune ah we’re gonna be building this bank um somewhere not too far away but like somewhere that’s uh you know not in this

So if you guys don’t remember um this is the spawn area where we first i uh i think i think yeah it’s just right over here this is where we first started on the realms smp server um we will never forget these members guys well i mean some of them are still

Around but freyr vintage dark i mean action did hop on a few episodes ago so he’s still here technically um so i was thinking maybe we can build in the future we we can build like a little bridge over here um coming over to this location or something like that

And this is where i’m gonna be building the bank what do you guys think okay so i don’t know how big i want to build the bank but i’ll give it some space all right um let me just place the bed over here alright so how are we gonna do this

I’m gonna turn these blocks into pillar blocks for the front part of the build this should be enough it’s not gonna be like a huge bank or anything but i do need some space for the vault in the back so two blocks to enter the bank

All right yeah this should be good this should be good all right so the rest of the bank is going to be built with these blocks it’s going to be way easier to build too um yes and the outside of the bank um let’s make it hmm i’m gonna make it

Look classy it’s gonna look nice i promise you guys sheesh all right so this is gonna be the front part of the bank and then there’s gonna be like windows where you can talk to the banker and stuff and the banker is obviously gonna be me i will be handling all the money

And all the valuables of the members on the realms smp and um i think there might be a benefit to using the bank i talked to brandon about this it’s like oh the longer you keep your stuff in the bank you’ll get more banks i mean you’ll get more diamonds back

So there’s gonna be interest so if you store your valuables the the you know the value of your valuables will increase over time isn’t that a you know isn’t that an amazing idea guys okay so anyways one two three four five six seven perfect one two three

Four i’m just sending out the outline of what i need to build today i have a crazy shovel now crazy insane absolutely crazy insane one all right let me just fill this up real quick we’re gonna do this i’ve never i don’t think this is basically my first complex

Redstone build i’ve made a two by two door but not a three by three before so this is how you do it i know exactly what i’m doing no tutorial needed it’s not like i watched this tutorial before i watched you know before i started the stream

Oops already messing up okay there we go now we got the doors done um i mean the bottom part done then we place down an obsidian block then right here i think you need an observer but i don’t have that right now so let me go grab some

I have no idea how to craft one but we’ll figure it out oh wait oops this is supposed to be the center oh i should shift it over huh okay just one block i think just shift it over by one block and we should be good okay so we’re putting the observer like

This i believe yes and there’s three blocks left okay i won’t be able to look at chat for a little bit because i’m trying to figure this out um we place redstone right oh my goodness why does it not swap there we go we put oh okay it’s working

Uh survival because like it’s so hard to get back up inside i wish i had some scaffolding right now that’s what i was gonna grab oh no i forgot okay and then we’re placing this right here and then another piston down here and i believe another yes another observer right here

Dang man this is the first time i’m actually doing redstone redstone i’m doing redstone guys i’m doing redstone place down two more or one more uh four ticks on this and then no ticks on the first one i believe and then we go down here we use the

Dispenser we place the dispenser down here did i grab the dispenser yes i did we’re placing the dispenser facing up um and i think we’re placing a observer facing this way too i think just gotta make sure i do this correctly all right so we place a block right here

Then a redstone torch i believe okay okay we’re getting some redstone movement and then we place another block right here place another redstone right yeah i think i believe so okay yep yep it deactivates this redstone torch right there turns it off and then what do i do

Okay so he placed it like this one boom it’s activated and i think it’s two ticks on this yes yes aren’t you guys proud of me okay okay we can test it with the lever will it work here we go place it down and oh wait did it

Wait i feel like something’s wrong why is it not working oh no it’s broken guys it’s broken what did i do wrong we are almost done guys we are almost done the hard part is basically over now i mean if i did it right that’s only if

And then i’m gonna have like a little back part where they’re going to be like where i’m gonna be storing like the chest and stuff okay so let me place glass right here see that i don’t know why but it double clicks sometimes there we go i feel bad for breaking the
