X toy cat and just the reason why I’m late today usually something dumb but in this case I had a fun situation of being trapped on a train in a tunnel with no internet for an hour it was dark in there they had to turn off the lights

But there was also you know there was a little bit of a terror attack happening there so maybe you know maybe just maybe uh anyway I’m late and you can trust me that unlike usually it’s not my fault oh you know really every type of light is

Arguably your fault you can always be early enough to something to never be late and so uh in in that way I apologize for my mistake anyway um today I wanted to play some multiplayer I my video hasn’t gone live on this yet but I got really inspired by Minecraft mini games um

If you haven’t heard uh like there was a there’s a there was a huge like wave of people being excited about um Glide for valid reasons you know someone posted a video of them playing it super well and it reminded me just how fun old mini games were and uh yes I

Figured I’d hop on the most popular server now that the hive is gone the most popular server that exists is uh cubecraft and cubecraft’s most popular game mode it was it was actually Lucky Block early it looks like it’s Skyward still or maybe egg Wars

Um when I when I jumped on earlier also is he Wario I oh I’m saying Wario cause I’ve uh watched too much Brooklyn Nine-Nine it’s clearly Wario by the way um but uh yeah I I don’t know what the uh I don’t know what the deal is with

Anyway so we can play the most popular game as of this morning which is Lucky Blocks although if we played SkyWars we’d get you know we’ll play egg Wars too I don’t know what the deal with that is but we’ll play some mini games it won’t uh it wasn’t a terrorist attack at

Downing streak uh was an old man who turned down the wrong way is that is that the real story I heard he crashed into the uh the gates of the prime minister’s house um you know it probably wasn’t that though so um yeah um video should be done for 10 30. oh

Yeah this is yeah it’s weird because if you tried to describe people what made console mini games better like it has uh there’s a Lobby here too right Minecraft console had an amazing Lobby why is this not a good enough Lobby what is not amazing about this oh so I have to set

For the most part because I know I know how dumb it is to be like oh I want to play the server but I am on Console so I cannot so unless there’s a good reason um two or you know like I have to set up

My own server uh we generally play the listed servers only I know that means that also this is this is a big parkour um but yeah it’s one it’s one of those weird things I’ve I’ve never seen Minecraft themselves uh capture the feeling of the mini games and so I

Wanted to see if maybe you know because I I didn’t play I played a lot of cubecraft back in 2017. I played a lot of the hive a lot no I I went for all of that um but yeah I wanted to see if it’s gone any better so we’ve got three options

Duels Solo or teams of four you know how much I hate playing with strangers I would rather kill strangers also whoa look at this I remember they this is so bizarre to me like the level of UI that servers have now right like look at this uh so

Quick play Loot it’s weird because it feels like a normal server right it’s got the it’s got the classic hit the man to go somewhere and then we got this happening anyway so let’s let’s play some some games um I got to watch a car try to blow a red

Light smash into both cars and start on their green flip upside down upstairs state it was like an explosion having directly in front of me it’s crazy because we all know it’s a widely known fact that tens of thousands of people died every year from a car accidents but it always does

Shake people up when they realize it could happen to them it’s almost like this Collective ignorance where we kind of need to believe that they don’t happen very often because you’d freak out so often you might even cause more of them to happen right um but uh yeah it’s like oh also diamond

Anyone in this game mode is this SkyWars but everyone doesn’t know what’s happening I guess that is it so the sharpness 2 uh stone sword has the same damage as this um he’s got a regen wand that that sounds amazing honestly so I’m gonna I’m

Gonna oh I don’t have any blocks I need to come back and I need to get some blocks out of this please tell me you got some friends six twelveston okay perfect I’m gonna throw away the potion and I’m gonna see what happens here uh I’ve got the Regent I’ve got more regen

No I don’t and I’m just gonna jump in and kill this fella over here he looks friendly right he looks like he’s a good time you can try and get me you can get me it’s fine it’s fine you can oh he’s got I don’t know what happened there but

I am slowly getting on the guy it’s weird whenever you’re in a chase it feels like you’re always oh there we go we got him over and with this guy let’s go too okay you wanna chase me you wanna you think you got this I I don’t think

You got this right oh actually I don’t know I don’t know enough about the combat to know who’s winning this one but I apparently not me so um yeah that was that was uh Lucky Block the the lucky oh I got seventh place by the way

But I opened it so one of the objectives is to open as many Lucky Blocks as you can I is do I want that do I okay you’re not I want to get any Lucky Blocks as I can this game it doesn’t matter what order we place I just want the highest

Number of Lucky Blocks opened so some of them again this feels a little bit contrived in some ways but I guess if you’re a generation of people who have grown up on Lucky Block which a lot of people have this is like the the heck for them

Like whoa it’s like I’m in one of them videos but it’s not one of them videos it’s like real oh gosh I wish to be bad that’s something too right not ever also what what just spawned is there a squid I’ve got a Kill why was why did he have a countdown

Timer on him you know the more questions you ask about about things like this the more confused you’re gonna be so we got chickens that time so I don’t have a I don’t have a weapon yet just oh I opened the chest and it killed me oh

Is that just lucky block we’re all I you know I I lived in Vegas for a bit I know the Allure of just rolling dice over and over again and hoping hoping that the outcome changes but I have to say I have no idea what that is so anyway um what

So I got the regen wand and I’ve got some potatoes and I’ve got a leaping potion that’s good I think I want the leaping potion jump boost heck yeah now we can throw away the thing my goal is to open as many of these Lucky Blocks as I can and

Not to die from the resulting explosions is that doable I guess we’ll find out it’s raining obsidian I guess we’ll find out so we’ve only got two obsidian we have to try and make this jump thank God for the jump boost and now we’re going to run around the

Center uh hoping that some of these things are good for me a bucket that seems op in the right circumstance gonna do some amazing things of that a pair of leggings I guess that’s an improvement yeah okay you know this is great we’re just gonna run around open the boxes if

Okay yeah this is uh needless to say I don’t know what I’m doing at all but I think I’m doing it well so really we want these guys to kill each other we’re gonna fire explosive okay there’s a cooldown on this um we’re gonna fire the last one at that

I enjoyed that so um yeah I I think I think so like it took me it took me a little while took me 20 minutes to get my first win but lucky blocks is a surprisingly fun game I I do like building these big question mark blocks

It feels a bit more like Super Mario than Minecraft but some people like that that is one of those games that is universally loved and so if they need to replicate it so be it um but yeah I think oh okay we’re over again the uh they won’t exist anymore because that’s

Why you can’t have them dead in your base you know it just feels so rude also I can’t okay there we go play play the game you should play minor where I’ll give it a try you know I like I’m liking this lucky I’m liking this Lucky

Block thing though I’m starting to get into it you know I think like anything you start doing well you know what I’ll start working out the strategies I think if you’re really competitive you hate this but I I do like the degree to which it’s like well just hope you get good stuff

Did someone else get full diamond armor while you just got an iron sword actually that might be a fair balance but yeah it’s the the number of bad events that can happen see some burn to death already like is that is that good that that can happen

Okay what’s that we got we got some pumpkin pie what’s this slime Wonder slime wand yeah what are you gonna do about the Slime one friend this is surprisingly one of the best weapons I’ve I’ve encountered um so he summoned a couple of uh squids but that’s not gonna stop me what is

Gonna stop me though is oh probably being knocked over the edge I bet shouldn’t have jumped so high oh okay nope I had no armor had to remember no armor no fun zombie Villages that’d be an interesting combination um this everything about the uh I hate

How the fire takes up half your screen I get that you’re literally combusting but literally chill bro don’t cover my screen I agree with that dark moon a drick I’ve like it is weird in a video game there’s two factors at play one is the immersion you’re trying to deliver

And one is the you know the player experience and so if you never try to make the game convey anything the negative effects stop bothering you because you just oh okay there’s a zombie but he does drop armor if I kill him so that’s that’s something I guess

Um now I got two iron helmets now but oh I already had a set of all and if I wanted it and also I can get whatever this was a freezing bow that seems powerful that seems incredibly powerful um so this shoots up to 20 hours on a

Single charge and this freezes enemies we have to be very careful about which one of these we use but I think we’ll be fine actually 27 hours I have to be careful oh should we just let’s just go for this where’s the 20 arrows where’s where’s my 20 oh charging up what what

Okay I don’t think I understand and that’s okay you don’t have to understand everything in life uh we’re gonna make some slabs yeah this is this is why I recommend you get one one wood block takes you six with blocks if you do it right didn’t need any for six
