Hello ivx clicker and one of the features I’ve been asked to explain the most is the maps for Minecraft next-gen so basically because they increase the world size from eight hundred and sixty four to eight by h.264 blocks to 2560 blocked by 2560 blocks for the large World sighs you know the maps don’t actually work anymore because a map only covers a certain amount of space and a lot of people questioning so how’d the maps work do you only get one for your Center do you get to pick where it is or How does that work and I think I’ve explained that today and also give you some fun trivia about what you can do of maps and just help you out and general with you know how the world works so um one statistic you might hear foreign around a lot is that the Xbox 360 Excellence or a large world is 25 Maps and that is in fact true because a map is 1024 by 1024 blocks so the way we can prove that is we’re at the edge right here at minus 512 we’re still on the map at minus 513 we’re not and at plus 5/12 Win on the map at plus 511 we are that means that there’s 512 times 2 at 1024 by 1024 blocks on each map we could prove in each corner if you want to do that but yeah right now it’s a lot of effort and I’m sure you can just trust Me in that one so that means your first map will always cover the area from around your spawn to minus and plus 512 in each direction which I think it’s a you know cool change from the Vino one the PC where you can spawn randomly and to like everything else where the map Just kind of spawns around you this time the map will always cover a fixed area around your spot so that’s a nice little feature and next up so how what you know once you’ve explored all of your map if you just explore all what can you actually do pass then do you Just not get to see a map from past day because as you can see I’m just known the map it tells me which direction I am and you know from the map they don’t actually tell me where I am at you know on the map so this is where multiple Maps come in so if you are in survival mode once you’ve explored your full map hopefully you have the resources to craft the new map because if you do what you can actually do is you can head over to another part of the map and you can Craft yourself a map and aware of the map is crafted this is where the map will be for so uh to just show you of this example I just pulled out I’m not sure which map over replace as you can see we’ve got this map just here and It’s now covering the area mitts so now I click spoil this map I can explore the entire thing you know work out there’s a swamp I’m here and whatnot and once I’ve done that I can move into the next button so I can go to the north little Bit and I can use wait let me just play in the exact map I can use this map and explore this so basically yeah there’s just so many different maps are you actually need 25 maps to cover the entire world if one where that map comes from it’s 1024 or 5000 120 divided by five is 1024 perfectly which means it fits perfectly 25 Maps so what you could do is because we’ve just four maps I can show you a really cool idea is basically I need the bricks they just threw mine through if you have item frames and you have bricks You can actually can map off the entire world if you’re really smart about it so so we’ll use four maps to show you the example but with 25 maps you can do this on a bigger scale so if you place them in their logical places so like this for Instance so you can actually make a map of a bigger area as you can see we’re covering across maps there if all four of these maps are complete that’d be insanely cool and yeah if you really want to do you know the insane map challenge what you can do is you can try And fill all 25 maps in survival and you can put them on an item frame wall and you can kinda show off how awesome you are so yeah that’s that’s the only way to fully explore a map you need 25 separate you know what you’re called Maps and you need to put them in item frames like this so yeah that’s why exploring an entire map can be difficult you could say so um just imagine trunkless explore all of those maps in survival it’s gonna be a real challenge but something you can’t do and just Quitting point this one out so the median world size is actually because that’s something a little don’t know the median world size is nine maps so free by free it’s 16 maps less even though you might think it’s medium and the small world size is just a single map It’s 1024 by 1024 blocks finally the classic world size is 9 in its higher map it’s 864 by a hundred sixty four blocks so yeah I hope something I just taught you today uh helps you out I really really like that map thing I really want to try the 25 map change at Some point I think it’s gonna take me forever because just imagine 25 separate Maps like exploring one map on the 360 it wasn’t you know insanely hard but it wasn’t something you could just do you know less than like a few minutes but yeah 25 Maps I’m looking forward to the Challenge I’m really gonna do at some point um so yeah if you I want to see the seat by the way gonna be doing a CBO later I’ll link it in the description as soon as I’m done like for if you liked it and you wanted to see this map store Because I’m hoping it helped you out if you want to see more like it you can subscribe to my channel gonna be live-streaming later and also uploading a CD for this so if you want to see you of those things there’ll be links in description I hope you enjoy the video thank you for watching and good bye you
