Hey what’s going on guys my name is Anthony what is your favorite book in Minecraft let me know in the comments but anyways today I’m going to be bringing you all ten changes that were made to the village structure in Minecraft now if you guys do enjoy Today’s video then be sure to give this video a like rating now if this video is able to hit over 10,000 likes then I will upload another 10 changes made to another structure video but anyways without further ado let’s go ahead and get straight into today’s video I hope You will enjoy it the village structure was officially added in version beta 1.8 but on July 1st 2011 a few months before beta 1.8 not actually posted an early teaser screenshot of the village structure and it actually looks slightly different to how it looks today so before the village we have today was Added in version beta 1.8 villages were partly made out of mossy cobblestone and the village buildings themselves also looked a little bit different but yeah those Mostow and villagers did not make it into the final game as the villages we have today are made out of different Blocks the next change I’m going to discuss is quite a minor change which means that quite a few players probably didn’t notice it so we all know that in Minecraft today villages that generate in desert biomes are desert villages made out of sandstone makes sense right However from b to 1.8 all the way up to the Minecraft 1.2 update villages that generated in desert biomes were made out of wood and cobblestone but then in Minecraft 1.3 villages that generated in desert biomes were changed to be made out of sandstone and it still remains That way in Minecraft today back in the earlier days of Minecraft any village that generated in water would be considered a village that had been flooded as it didn’t have any pathways making it quite difficult to enter the building however in Minecraft today any village that generates in water will Automatically have bridges made out of oak wood planks or sandstone the next change I’m going to discuss all the mobsters born into the villages themselves so when the village structure was officially added in version beta 1.8 no villages at all would spawn meaning the village was just a ghost town and Completely lifeless this was because villages were not yet added into the game and not originally intended the village to be populated with an unimplemented mob known as the Pikmin the savanna biome was added in version 1.7 and the village structure was able to generate in it now from Minecraft 1.7 To Minecraft 1.9 the villagers that generated in Savannah biomes were made out of oak wood but in Minecraft one point then this was changed to where savanna villages would be made of acacia wood I should also add that acacia logs would replace cobblestone in all structures except churches blacksmith Are a type of building that generating villages which spawn a chest full of randomly spawn loot ranging from iron swords to diamond now back in the earlier days of Minecraft blacksmiths would generate with cobblestone in Plains biomes acacia logs in Savannah biomes and sandstone in desert biomes However in the recent 1.10 update this was changed to where blacksmiths would generate with cobblestone in all biomes which i think is ashamed to be honest because I like the blacksmith’s use different blocks in different biomes the next change I am going to be talking about are the changes that were made to The parts that form in village structures firstly we’ll start with desert villages in desert biomes so in earlier versions of Minecraft the pathways in desert villages would be made out of gravel however in Minecraft today the pathways in desert villages are made out of sandstone to blend in with the desert terrain Now village pathways found in Plains biomes and savanna biomes were also originally made out of gravel but in Minecraft today they are now made out of grass pathways back in the earlier days of Minecraft the worlds that generate in desert villages were originally made of cobblestone meaning it didn’t look right Due to the whole village being made of sandstone this resulted in the wealth in desert villages being changed to be made of sandstone instead of cobblestone which I think is a nice little change so we all know that the village structure spawns these funny-looking mob Anthony why don’t you just say village you’re Late um good point I meant villagers but did you guys also know that villages are not the only monster can spawn in a village as when iron golems were added in Minecraft 1.2 a one that would be able to naturally spawn for every 16 villages spawned in a Village however I should also add that a slight change was made to iron golem spawning as in Minecraft 1.4.2 1 iron golem was now only spawned for every 10 villages in a village in older versions of Minecraft you never had to worry about any of the mobs at the village Being hostile because they were all just friendly villages wanting to trade however a small little feature was added in 1.10 where villagers have a 2% chance of generating a zombie village rather than a regular village now these villages are inhabited only by zombie villages and generate without any doors Or torches so yeah when you’re searching for villages be very careful not to mistake a regular village for a zombie village because that could be bad and the following could happen But anyways that just about concludes today’s video about 10 changes made to the village structure in Minecraft everybody I really hope
